Didn't do any sport mode stuff today, gave me a reason to work on getting gold for Nordschliefe track experience and finally got it.

Nice! Haven’t done a Daily Race in over a week since my game crashed after I won my first two races on that day. It erased my wins, credits and cars. Hopefully, we’ll get good dailies tomorrow so I have a reason to stop watching the Olympics!

Woohoo! After yesterday's **** races 2 out of 3 is a result.

A - is one of my favourite short tracks and I'm getting on well with the Skyline.

B- is a good combo, that hasn't been on the dailies since early on

C - just no.

It's easier to put it in text nd photo, so don't have to look at it on mobile browser
http://www.jasonguernsey.net/gts/Races

It updates automatically but unfortunately there is nothing in the data to determine which vehicle is up for the one-make, only the category.

Another day of no racing then and it's not even Friday yet, that's when the real bad stuff is usually chosen.:nervous:

Really? Skyline on Maggiore Centre and Gr. 3 on Yama don't take your fancy?

I guess I‘ll give Maggiore and Kyoto a shot :D
What are today‘s FIA races?

I don't know, Yamagiwa usually has a high chance of mayhem in that first chicane with the Gr.3 cars. You're rolling the dice on that one. Maggiore Center is so-so, but I'm just not down with racing road cars most of the time unless it's one of the Gr.3 road cars.

I don't like Kyoto, I don't know what it is, it seems lifeless or something and since the only time I've done this track is offline I'll be way off the pace too.

Maggiore will be too short, will lead to a boring procession from the front or behind an alien if one of them races here or someone will smash their way through which is even more frustrating. I also have not touched that car either before so I'll have to spend a while getting used to it, just to get one of the above anyway.

You'd think with three races they'd try to get one real track in there, even with the limited number in the game. Alsace isn't even a fictional race track, it's more a rally track than anything and they've stuck the good race there. :ouch:

Fair enough.

Yamagiwa is a good circuit though imo

Maybe if I raced it more I'd get to like it, I don't know. I know plenty of others do like it too, so at least for them this is a good race.

I like the flow of Yamagiwa, but I get divebombed there more than probably any other track.

I never understand the hate for Alsace. It's such a fun track, I enjoy the elevation changes and it's rather technical as well. Plus it's much nicer to look at. There's a few turns where punters like to punt, but that's true with any of them.

I'm not a big fan of Alsace too, but at least we now have a Gr.3 and Gr.4 race for today!
And the FIA race at Suzuka sounds pretty fun! So at least one Gr.4 race that's decent for today :)

The One-Make races don't appeal at all to me. Regardless of the car...
Maybe it would be more fun to watch if we could use our liveries for them? Right now, they're just a waste in this game. So much potential for great road car races, but PD decides to make them the most boring experience we've seen in racing games so far. :indiff:

The worst track for divebombers is still Maggiore! And right after that, Interlagos :scared:

Wait, I meant, the BEST track for divebombers

Maggiore does have it's problems, mainly the banked hairpin, mostly though I'm quick enough there now to avoid most of these guys having the chance to do it to me, same with Interlagos, so I quite enjoy them, even the races I've won with no challenge. Whilst I'm not saying I've never been punted at Maggiore or Interlagos because I have many times, I know I'll be right in the firing line at Yamagiwa due to my lack of experience and I'd imagine Alsace will be worse with all the elevation change and banking, loads of prime punting spots. It won't be an odd incident at these two tracks for me, it'll be at least one a lap. I could even end up doing it, by accident due to lack of track time but still, I don't want to ruin other peoples fun either.

A huge benefit of qualifying up the front, especially in DR: S,is those tracks known for divebombing become fun again. You still have your bad races, but for the most part I’ve had a great time at both Lago Maggiore and Interlagos.

Maggiore Centre was really good racing ! Very clean and crisp, with the expierence in the TT from last week, I could do with max 3 laps practise for the braking point en of we went, did it 2 times now running around P6 (middle of the pack) and guess what? No divebomb, no intended bumping etc etc etc.
Racing was tight, but very clean and fair.
