That's interesting, I thought a one stop on Mediums was more optimal last time we had this combo. Maybe PD increased the multiplier for tyre wear this time.
Either way, I'm glad I saw your post, I planned to race on Ms.
I’ve got the Honda down to a 1:11.8 so far, I lost at least 2 tenths in the final corner though according to my next couple of laps, but it’s only Monday so it’s a good start. Good for #9 in NA for a few minutes, only #4 on my friends list though.
Great Laps @Mistah_MCA and @QC YALUM
What I find to be a motivator, in regards to qualifying, is when I see someone ahead of me on the leader board that I know I've whipped on the track before.Optimal is 47.9, that’s now the main goal for the the week, Sub 48.
Gonna try to get closer to your time! Nice time!
However, the throttle on my G29 pedals are flickering a ton right now, so I'm trying to fix that.![]()

That's what I have Elite Dangerous for! It 'only' contains the entire milky way galaxy, yet from the edge you can zoom in and peer over to Andromeda. The amount of stars is literally dizzying, you don't realize how big a number 400 billion is until you start browsing through the map and try to fly to the other side (which takes weeks and thousands of jumps) Plus the sound design in that game is amazing.
I started watching the OA part 2, which is a nice mind bender as well.
From driving contact free without qualifying. I don't care that much about winning anymore, I like to start from the back to practice overtaking safely. In a race C there is plenty of time to catch up with the fast guys. Race B is too short to get to the front and on average lowers my DR to mid or low DR.B. Driving without qualifying while getting out of the way of everyone (to avoid that SR down from someone bumping into you) had my average finish position at 11, thus net DR loss.
This is my DR from the past 3 week. (until last Thursday, stopped updating for some reason)

Before the peak I was driving without qualifying on the N24 race C. Then I qualified for the last 5 races which briefly put me into A+.
Next day, Suzuka was chaos with the SF19 and I quickly figured out that DR.A always got the short end of the stick when DR.B makes contact. Hence I kept my DR in DR.B to be on even ground in the back field.
This week I went for a clean streak record, which meant getting out of the way of any car that comes close. Although I still had some good results with a 5th place in there, my average was 11th due to conceding positions as soon as a car came back in range.
I qualified on Friday, did another 17 clean races Friday and Saturday until it was ended by a simple bump from behind. Currently my DR is 25K, going up again. It's never been steady as I don't really care what DR does. It has very little effect on matchmaking. Only during prime time did I actually get some rooms where there were no A/S while I was at DR.D. Since I got back to DR.B it has been A+/S on pole again. DR means so little for sport races.
This is my entire history

All the peaks past day 300 are from N24 and Nordschleife where I hve over 1,100 races combined.
The 2 weeks spend at low SR are from Blue moon bay (which together with Monza are responsible for most of the low SR occurances) where draft bumping (or rather getting draft bumped) will quickly dump you down the SR ladder. The other was from Tokyo, same thing there, get bumped from behind SR down or even a penalty when the car behind taps the wall after.
Racing without qualifying, it just depends on how long the race is where my DR settles for the week. Winning contact free without qualifying, that's the holy grail for meIt happens now and then. Very rare in a daily B but quite achievable in a daily C (outside prime time)
To be clear, when I say whipped, I mean beaten, not punted.it just suck when they start behind you in the races after that
Haven't tried Hards but it seems to me the time lost is just not worth it.
I'm having a really rough time controlling the car once the tyres die.
Hmmm no idea. I found a guide that cleans the potentiometer, so hopefully I can get that cleaned tonight. Thanks man, same to you.I’m sorry to hear about your throttle, could you swap it with the clutch temporarily until you can find a part to get you going again?
@sturk0167 Ah, thanks for the clarification, that makes more sense. 👍
@Sven Jurgens Are you continueing on race B or switching to C? B’s the only one I don’t have a Q time for now.
The Tokyo tracks would be awesome if there were no walls, just nice wide curbs like the Dragon Trail tracks.
@Mistah_MCA Awesome!! I hope it works man. I couldn’t go back to a DS4 at this point, I tried recently, I can’t even win in GT League with one anymore.
To anyone who knows, is nonstop on Hard tires the way to go for Race C? Or the one stop one Mediums?
Switching to C then, unless I misunderstood your intentions and want to drive from the back. You have 2 minutes to decide! signed up for c atm.
C it is. I'll try a non stop on hards as I have nothing to lose
The only thing I like about Tokyo is the sense of speed. Removing the walls would eliminate that. Is there a pit straight on that variant? Penalties should be served there.
Hmm, I'm in a B/S to C/S room. No megip!
Haha I missed that one, my son just got home. I’ll be in the next one on the BoR account, I forgot all about that one lol. I can still start from the back!![]()
Stop is better. My best lap was 1:53 in lap 3, by the end I was doing 1:57 laps while getting harassed from behind. Medium one stop next. I did get to 9th place (well 6th but 3 passed in the last few laps)
Cool, thanks for the info, stop on 5? I’m signed up for the next one at 93 SR.
Edit: You’re starting behind me, I put a bumper sticker on just in case that happened.
Edit: I somehow managed to catch back up to Sven after getting spun up in the final chicane, he must have gotten held up. Sorry about the bump in spoon, I didn’t expect you to brake that hard there lol. Great race man, that was super fun!! I’m signed up for the next one already.

Dang, forgot to read your bumper sticker, next time. Sorry about being slow at spoon. It was my dyslexia at work. Looking at the leader board I though you were in front of me, started braking early to make sure not to run into you, doing just that lol.
Fun race!
No worries, I had cones turned off to start and was messed up anyways lol. Had to pause after I spun out and turn them back on. I don’t even use them here but I just like having them on for some reason.![]()
Dang, bunch of no good no qualifiers between us. How dare they.
I think I fixed the problem. I did a quick test after cleaning it and the throttle seems to work fine again. I'm assembling everything back together. For the potentiometers, I read comment that mentioned that I didn't need to unplug the wires... so I wasted time on that. Lol.@sturk0167 Ah, thanks for the clarification, that makes more sense. 👍

I'm at work, now. 👍Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who plays this game that has a job.

Just a feeling. I know its not true. Just seems like a lot of people do a lot of races every day, I'd have no time for actual life. And I thankfully don't even have kids. Good thing summer is coming, I like outside.
I’m a roofer, and we get a lot of rain in Nova Scotia.![]()
