I just did three races at Brands Hatch.
A very good field with the lowest an A. I qualified before the start with a 1:24.2 I think ... in the Audi A8. There were lots of those there, and also, Porches, a fake VW Golf, pretty sure there was a BMW engined McLaren.
I started off by touching the Porsche in front of me at the second corner - he braked very early, I was some distance behind him .. but he was still behind me after corner three, so I pulled over ... but I then let two cars through ... so i was now 5th. I got probably an unintentional tap next lap into the sand; I came out then in last place. Passed a couple and came 12th or 13th.
Next race not much better, and this time my qualifying was 1: 23.6x ... started 5th though. Ran wide somewhere and it was my fault - a very good driver slowly creeping up on me ... I was 5th. So back to the back but I finished 7th or 8. Large loss of DR no doubt, as is my normal behaviour.
I was on a good qualifying lap before the 3rd race, after a phone call in between ... darn with the line in front I went to the race ... didn't get the time. An easier field though with just two A's and I won by 7 seconds.
Lesson - best to practice more b4 racing I guess but then I was a touch unlucky I reckon, I should have played it safer while racing. I just loose focus in my first races. The weather too is semi dark - I hate that. Why not have a mid day race, and the lights are all off. I need now to turn the brightness up in the game I suppose ... its possible to do that ... somehow ....
Really I was the worst driver out there, only unpainted car too, apologies from To_Blitz if I got in anybody's way ...
