Same here with my DFGT, it’s quite the thrill trying not to go out the road while re attaching the wheel. :D

Hey now, I drive a Huracan with a skull on it!! Not all bulls are bad. :)

I saw that episode. THey still need to take into an actual shop. Silly Billies.

The Hive needs to learn the new tracks by heart before stuff settles down.
Nice race. That livery is...... unforgettable?

Hmm seems others are catching on to more .. shall we say, colorful liveries.. still lacking bikinis though..

I am trying to enter daily races, but everytime I click enter, the screen freezes and after a pause, I get an error message?

Same here, can't enter sport mode WS-37505-0, yet sometimes WS-37503-8 and once I got to choose the car before getting WS-37503-8 again. I can't enter lobbies either. My network tests out fine, all parameters green "this is a good network environment". It seems the server is broken.

Pulled my wheel off my stand mid race :scared::lol:

I might have snapped the steering shaft on my Fanatec GT3 last month catching snap oversteer. The good news, I caught it....bad news I couldn’t turn for the next corner

It appears that PSN is having issues registering PS+ subscriptions.
Any online game that requires it will have error.

Maybe just US? I did some qualifying laps with the Veyron with no issues. But then that was pre-qualification, not entering a race.

It's not just the US.
It also just happened about an hour ago.
As I was on earlier and had no issues either.

This was my first race of the night on Wednesday, I go on to explain how I save fuel and keep the speed up. I use fuel map 1 the entire time, short shifting and coasting into the braking zones. I don't think the Ferrari is the best for the no stop, but it is certainly competitive.

Nice race, that 19:22 time is quick. To do that with a 1 stop is tricky. Just gotta figure out how to run low 1:16’s high 1:15’s while saving fuel, that would cut another 10sec from that time. Couple aliens have been doing it.

I’ve been trying to do it, but it’s actually more difficult than just going flat out I think. Lot more thought.

Ok fellas, so this is my first attempt at a track guide. I’m familiar with Mt Panorama with Gr4 cars so I figured this would be a good one to start, Hopefully it’s helpful. :)

This is the 1:13.9, I clipped the wall that I said not to hit in the guide. I’d say the top guys will be below 1:12 tomorrow most likely. :)

Just a reminder as to why you should never drive through a ghost. I mean c'mon game he's just rejoined the track at 10mph. Don't unghost him there. He apologised in the chat but wasn't his fault at all.

I have two clean races in a row, despite getting mauled by a Supra on lap 1, final turn of DT. This guy sent me to unexplored realms.

It's become a typical story, start at the back, make huge gains clean on lap 1, get murdered because someone doesn't see me - or someone does see me and decides they don't like what i did - consider ragequitting, grit my teeth, let the tail hang a couple times, pass a couple spun dudes, catch the train at the end of the race and gain a couple positions through the last couple corners.

can't help but think if I can sort out my damn qualifying problems I should really be winning these things...

Mustang fun as always. Very trustable since 1.39.

At least it didn't unghost you as he was coming back through again. Can you imagine the fun of a perpetual-unghosting-wreck-cycle...

I told everyone to pass me safely as I'm going to be cruising. After the start, I hit the Options button and almost everyone passed me. A couple cars at back went off. First no stop.

Next race, I blasted a HUracan player as I was racing an RC F for 2nd. I admit to being a bit sloppy as my tyres wore(we both pit). However, last lap the Huracan is coming. NOthing I can do. LAst couple corners, I'm on eggshells and not blocking. The Huracan doesn't unload me at the chicane. As we exit, it starts pushing me left of the road. I push back through the finish. It grabs 3rd by 0.0001 or whatever. NO need for that!

One more race. I had to watch the replay to figure how I won that.

8th place RC F was on pole. it got passed on the first lap. It then hit some grass and went off a lap later. The NSX was pacey. I made ground on the straights, but it was awesome out of corners. It pit one lap earlier with 40%. I was at 38% at that point. Pit next lap with the lead 458 and Huracan in 2nd. I overfilled and still jumped both of them.

Lead Scirocco and a Slophy pit next lap. Don't know how the Slophy had to pit. Figured it would no-stop.
The cars 2nd-5th, were swapping going off on their own, for the remainder of the laps. Seriously. ONe car went off one corner, two corners later, the other. They kept swapping 2nd place until the Huracan tried to muscle the 458 through the chicane. Bumps the 458 off and the Huracan gets that penalty.

BAthurst all week.

Happened to me in Australia - ending up changing my password. But it still continued to happen.

I ended up having two races ... one before the issue ... I started first but missed corner 4 I think - next lap I hit 05XR8 off the track at corner 3 - I hit you - him - SpacedustDaddy - in the rear ... it was net issues though - then corner 4 - went off the track again. I went off at that corner 5 or 6 times I think ... last time I slowed right down, put it in 2nd gear - and I went off again. And when I stopped for fuel and tyres - I did not put any fuel in the car (first race for a while) - I ended up 18th from the pole. Lost a couple of thousand DR and when I checked my status, my S SR seemed to be now 38. So later after the net fixed itself I had another race thinking it would be easy and I'd get my SR back so as to avoid a re-set - and the field was pretty good. I managed to have no issues and won by a margin all the time thinking if something went wrong my 38 would become a 34 and I'd be re-set. So it seemed to go from 38 to 70 in one race ... very weird.

Doing a little Mt Panorama testing, myself. Normally, the Lambo or some other AWD would be my go to car for Gr.4 races, but lately the Lambo seems to have less lateral grip than it used to, meaning it's just gotten more slippery around corners. I've tested 6 cars so far, and beat the Huracan really badly with my Mustang (I beat it with the Veyron & GTR, too). It may just be a matter of individual driving style. Worth a try. 👍

Cool, thanks for the info. I haven’t gotten into testing different cars yet, I just jumped in one I was familiar with to start of and make the clip. That part will come next. :)

Edit: My attempt at a track guide for Alsace II, we did it in the WRS TT’s last week or the week before so it was somewhat familiar right now. I used the NSX for this one because it usually turns a little better than the GTR. Hopefully it’s helpful. :)

The Hot Lap I was chasing, 1:43.6

I wish I knew how to edit out middle parts of the video, I can’t believe I wrecked out in the hot lap.

Rebellion Racing is going to use these Art-Liveries in this years 24h Du Mans.

My last attempts at Goodwood were rather poor. It's weekend and all the crash-kids got time (or allowance) to turn on their Playstations. I tried the Cayenne two times. I didn't change tires but just added some fuel during my pit stops and I would have finished in the Top 6. Well, if there wouldn't have been these other cars. Yesterday's attempt got me pushed off by a spanish Ferrari, a swedish GT86 and a british Huracan. Started 12th, fell back to dead last and finished 11th. Today's race was similar. I hit a car which was spinning from the grass back to the track and so sent him off to the grass again: 2s for me. In the same race I had a few encounters with a finish TT. This goop recklessly passed at any cost. In lap 15 he bumped me off the first kink of Woodcote. Unfortunately by reflex I was desperate to keep control and stay on the track, so he did not get his well deserved penalty. Just a few milliseconds later I flipped, accelerated hard and repeadedly smashed him through the chicane. Interestingly this chastise left me only with 5 seconds and Position 16. But: Since I knew I wouldn't gain anything in this race at all but he had gained a few positions that loss of SR and DR was worth it.

After my initial rant about G2 on Alsace II I did some more extensive testing today. I tried the Motul Autech and the Raybrig NSX under the designated race conditions in a private lobby. Fuel is more than enough (if it's going to be topped at race start which predicted about 17 Laps). Tires wear gradually and the front tires are about 50% gone after 11 Laps but the car is still quite controllable. Now I'm not really into Group 2 and Alsace, but my fastest lap was 1:48.8 and the slowest lap (with worn tires) was 1:51.9. I consider this time difference a valid point to call next weeks race C a No-Stopper.

I just tried a couple of custom races for next week Alsace II in the Motul Autechre. BOP on and all the race settings for tire and fuel. I had more than enough fuel at FM1 to last the race. Tires were quite shot at the end though. And, considering that you can only choose 10x in game and the race will be 13x, I would possibly consider changing tires at some point. It was getting to the point were it was really hard to keep the line in the tight curves on he last few laps.

Dunno if it's gonna be a wreck fest ....fast cars and tight curves .... But it could be real fun races if people behave a bit. It's a good track...a bit weird in reverse ... but it has a good flow with gr.2.

Next week is going to be a busy day at work but I'll sure try this one as soon as I can.

Create a private online Lobby. You can set the exact same settings as the daily race :)
