I tried to set Q-Laps for all races but it seems these weeks events are not mine and I‘m far away from being competetive in relation to DR B.

2:08 in the BRZ
2:18 in the Genesis
1:49 in the Motul Autech

Single-Player-Credits-grinding-and-Livery-Design-Week I guess.

I’ll repost these this morning in case anyone missed them yesterday, hopefully they are helpful. Good Luck this week everyone!!

Lap Guide Gr4 @ My Panorama

Hot Lap Gr4 Lambo

Lap Guide Gr2 @ Alsace II

Hot Lap Gr2 NSX

Great Times @Mistah_MCA I’ll be a while chasing those tonight, well done man!!

I love the GT-R on The Mountain, but I think the Lambo might have it by fair margin this week.
Dunno. Wasn't so big and bad versus the much slower Atenza(I was close all race, for the tow). From behind, thoae Lambos look so twitchy. The GT-R did okay versus a Megane, but 250km/h can't match 260km/h down Conrod. I have faith in the GT-R though. Nice ride.

@Mr P That is a fantastic time. I took the last turn a bit too wide, so my optimal is probably a 2:00.8. Can't wait to see what you do in the BRZ so we can compare times.

Cheers mate your time is great also just need to hold the last turn and you will close the gap 👍 I just run a few laps in the BRZ to see how it compares and took a massive .009 off my best 86 time :D These cars are certainly twins and I find it hard to see anywhere they differ? ah well here's my BRZ lap...

Will defo run them both again tonight and see if I can shave some here and there.. GL to all running these ones

Red means SR loss from the race. White means no gains or losses. Blue means SR gained. It doesn't show how much though -1 or -30 is just as red (but they'll have a lower SR grade), same as +1 or +26 for Blue.

It would be nice if DR had the same coloring so you can see who gained and who lost DR for the race. It doesn't even update your DR rank in the post race screen.

Dr and sr should be combined to make a new rating to make matching better. Add sr points to dr points, then some average pace scoring and time spent racing and to stop poorer drivers getting to high up.

I'm in the mood to stream some more Daily C tonight. I'll post up the stream in here in case anyone is interested in watching live.

I just uploaded the lancer evo gr4 on mount panorama gr4. Tags are lancer panorama gr4 if you try to curb clip it becomes unstable so mastered a new racing line but still not as fast but consistant (i think lol)

Lol that was me in the RC, that finish was amazing!! Great and super clean race too, we all kept cool heads coming into Woodcote. Thought I could grab 2nd when the Cayman got sideways (of his own doing) but it was too sketchy to try and squeeze in before the chicane without a possible huge crash, so I backed out and tried for the exit of the chicane and nearly got him. I think we all finished within 1sec at the line. Great fun.

I was so focused on the Cayman and the track ahead. That photo was taken at the moment that I realized you were there. At that point I knew we were all either doomed or headed toward a very close finish. Regardless of the potential outcome we were all in heavy attack mode haha.

Thanks for the awesome race!

I watched the replay after to see the Caymans strategy and to make sure it wasn’t my fault that you went off on Woodcote when you tried to overtake me there earlier in the race. That track is so unassuming based off of the track map, but wow does it flow well.

Sad to see Goodwood go, it was a brilliant week.

Now I wish B and C were the other way round. Only 3 laps at the mountain in slow cars, with virtually no overtaking opportunity for half a lap. Sounds fun. Then Group 2 tyre wear simulation at Alsace, permanant disadvantage with a controller.

I loved Alsace Gr2 when it was a flat out sprint for Race B, and Gr4 could do with more laps and pit strategy at Panorama.

you must understand that 'overtaking opportunity' doesn't exist in many players minds

Agreed. A daily race gr4 on panorama race c would have been better and alsace village gr2 should have been race b. Gr2 is to fast for me unless its nurburgring then any car goes lol

Slow cars? Ok.

Hmmm, what to drive. I guess the 'tang will be the closest we'll get to something of Falcon lineage, and the GTbaRge is sort of Commodore shaped... Jaguar have a bit of top-speed ancestry, but is it any good in it's current guise?

Or do I pluck for one of those Front Wheel Drive Hot Hatches, because, you know, they make a whole lot of sense... Who can say?!

Found this interesting, mind.

"The common misconception of nomenclature due to the accidents that happen at this turn are widespread. Hell Corner was named after a tree stump that existed on the apex of the turn. It was believed that any motorcycle riders who hit the stump would die in an act of folly and thereby be doomed to an eternity of death."

So far 2 races at Mount Panorama, first race i got a Vettel Penalty because someone touched me from behind and then hit the wall. Second race was also fun, lost the rear with to much throttle in the first corner.. but since i am doing a SvenJ i make up places during this short race.

But i agree, with a short race, slow cars on this narrow track, if you want to place high, you need to put in the Q lap and then be as fast over 3 laps in the race..

Yep same with me. a week off from Dailys. Will put in some practice for FIA races instead.

Well, last time we had this combo, the Megane and TT were pretty strong. I don't think Gr.4 has had any BoP changes since Christmas (correct me if I'm wrong) so these two should still be great choices.

Also, just realized I forgot to update my profile with my new PSN. :O

Yeah the off at Woodcote was on me. I knew going two wide is risky so I was trying to leave you as much room as possible, but gave too much and clipped the grass. Kept it on the track but lost momentum. Good clean/hard racing.

Not sure if you noticed, but when I came out of the pits and we were I think 9sec behind the Cayman, you and I were matching sector times for 5 laps with a consistent 1.2sec gap. We were both in attack mode trying to catch him. Once you started battling into St Mary’s I closed in and really pulled both of you out of the following right handed. Awesome race start to finish. :)

Fuji....

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Is it possible that we could get at least a single week or two without Suzuka or Fuji? Fuji encourages bad driving IMHO. What happened to St. Croix and it's many iterations?

I think PD is being far too rigid in trying to get people to race within a given time window and/or too rigid on what cars can be in Race A.

Qualify with a ff gr4 after drinking a large can of relentless energy drink, it really really helps. Who ever invented ff into gt4 is a insane person but ff vs 4wd is a good race. It should be done in real. Cornering vs straight line speed gt4. Makes for great passes and replays. 4wd lancers and wrxs vs audi tts and megans in real, thats what i call a real race with btcc rules of light body contact for added fun.

too rigid on what cars can be in Race A.

I agree, and I’ve always felt this way about Sport Mode. I would have loved to get a McLaren F1 one-make, maybe at Le Mans. In recent memory the ‘craziest’ car we ever got was the GT3 RS which is basically a Gr.4 on sports tires anyway.

Unfortunately now that races are weekly, I really don’t think it will ever happen. Not beginner friendly enough. I hope I’m wrong.
