I put some decent laps into mount panorama quali this morning and got the Viper down to 2'12.6 and the F-type down to 2'11.6 I'm quite addicted now and reckon I can take a few more tenths!... will try the Audi next but the F-type is smooth as silk and I highly recommend anyone who hasn't tried it to give it a blastHere's the lap I uploaded to my youtube channel in chase view to show I left no scratches on the Jag

Don’t let it get to you mate. Just enjoy the game and ignore the abuse. Maybe take a break or play offline for a while. Be the bigger man and don’t respond to them.
Two laps is pretty annoying too with no stop attempts holding up traffic in the 2nd lap. Tire wear seems low though, I think it was 13x last time with chice of mediums, so maybe with 7x hard tires and 5x fuel no stop will be the default. Pit stop in a 2 lap race is stupid anyway. The one that doesn't stop gets the FL by default.
3 laps GR.3 is maybe too much for lower ranks, yet 3 laps GR.1 should fit. 2 laps GR.3 leaves just too little time to qualify in between. If you leave the lobby straight away you might make it or get interrupted in the final corner.
Back to the mountain, started on pole in the Mustang, first race in SR.24. A Huracan behind me stayed within drafting range for a bit, then fell back for an easy victory with 3 sec lead. I touched a wall once evading the Huracan, no clean bonus, still +9 SR to 33.
@Lancer_R It can be rough, especially A/S. Is PC2 online any better though? Screw ratings, they don't reflect your skill. The game can take your DR and SR away but you're still the same driver racing the way you want to race. I get more frustrated from the AI in racing games, bad programming is worse (cough cough penalty system) than natural stupidity
Second race, a Brazilian in a Megane bumps me off at the chase. I get a penalty for it, plus another car bumped me twice for SR Down, back to 23 SR. Penalty system hates clean racing.
ps on bathurst project cars 2 gt3 cars will get stuck in the cork screw section, highly amusing. Turn skill down to 28% for bathurst get pole to start lol, it does eventually move though. Gt4 ai seems the best. The ginetta gt4 is overall the best too, without any settings its still a winner but its ginetta, of course its a winner
It only happens when i get to a rank. Few local people where i live sent me nasty messages threatning me if i win them. They also have multiple profiles, i know as i sent my cousin to someones tuturial lessons, there are people on gt sport that need to be banned. I got police involved now anyway, deleted from console. Me and alot of people here even a cop have deleted the game. Project cars 2 ai only runs smooth on pc, ps4 is laggy, try it in boost mode for ps4 pro, give it few races and it settles down. Online its ok, its fairly quiet, most play career mode. As for assessto corsa competizone, upto yet only the ps4 could handle their ai etc, gt sport is only option for serious online play. Project cars you need to lower ai to about 48% and it slows it down and makes less mistakes. Most use 0% skill but thats not for me. Plus project cars gt4 gt3 cars are stable LOL. Dont forgot though, grid autosport is out september, thats one sim arcadish fun racing game everyone loves
How about adding it to your time at end of the race like you said or you have to do a drive thru in the pits as being the only way to get rid of ptly that may stop all the on track chaos.Just when I thought it was getting cleaner, down to SR.A now. Mainly due to the penalty zone creating accidents. Last race a slow car swerves last second after he unghosts, I evade into the grass as only option, but the WRX doesn't like grass, veers back and I end up with a 2 sec penalty, which turns into 6 positions lost, over 4 sec lost in the next penalty zone. Those 6 create chaos, I pass a few only to get rammed from behind 3 times. -13 SR for one race.
The penalty zone at the chase is in a terrible spot. Every race it's chaos with traffic going at different speeds, gambling if they can still pass before the kink, or two penalty servers slowly driving side by side unghosting at any moment. Last week it was Goodwood where the penalty zone created chaos in the 2 high speed turns, before that Monza in the narrow bit otw to Ascari, and earlier Sarthe with 3 penalty zones so unbalanced that in one it takes double the time from you while in another it costs less than the penalty time to serve a penalty.
I'm starting to think it's not all that much better than what we had before.... Just different with new problems. One of which is people keep ramming and then quit when reaching the penalty zone as 'revenge' for ending up with a penalty. Just add it on at the finish, stop with the nonsense!
Next race, I know how the system works and why this happens but I still have to vent.
Another race ruined by an idiot that was never going to make that corner.
I was already slowed from all those flashing penalty cars in front of me running into each other, but mr hero diver behind me thought he could make the corner at top speed. Of course the penalty zone turns those 2 sec in 4 sec lost so he gets in front of me, reward for reckless driving. 70 SR left.
Lol down to SR.B now, from 70 to 40 in one race from endless bumping. Total chaos, that was not a race, full destruction derby round. And the one that started it, was the one that said let's have a clean race at the start... Always is. Time to walk the dog.
SR.C, and it's time to qualify. Impossible to race from the back at lower SR. Half the people stop to pick up hitch hikers along the way or to take a picture, wth. 24 SR left in 4 races lol.
as i downloaded gt sport and delted it i wont be re downloading it, it would take hours lol. I set good lap times and others ruin, time they forced one profile per person and see if the blocking etc stops as sounds like other drivers are using other accounts to keep their place (just a wild theory but could be true)
ALSO I think when people get sent to back from the front via ptly zone it riles them up and they try to get back to the front at all costs aka known as dirty. I am starting to feel the way lancer is feeling getting sick of the win at all costs mentality or your not passing me mentality or i have to pass you no matter what mentality..
