Yeh, when the temp gets down as low as 20C, I'm in long sleeves and a jacket .. brrrrrr!

It was friggen 34* here yesterday with a humidex of 40*, we actually left work early because of the heat. I’ve never done that before.

Sounds like a nice day for a stroll! I remember being in Winterpeg in August. Everyone was in shorts and short sleeves... me, I was jeans and a very thick lined leather jacket :scared:.

Wowzer. Yeah... No. I'm an English Rose over here. Generally just crisp up at the mere mention of sun. 19-20 is probably optimum comfyness.

Dunno about that... my old man was a pom, and he'd happily go out when it was 40C and do some gardening . How does that saying go... mad dogs and ....... ?. That's what they need for a daily... Bathurst with an ambient temp of 40C ;).

Yup ! Same here. Presently 24* at 7hoo in the morning. Supposed to get 27* this afternoon and it's gonna be the "coldest" day if the week :dunce::scared:

Abnormal temperature and humidity that makes it hard to do anything other than staying still and hoping it'll somehow go away.

Only enough time to squeeze in one race before work and one after yesterday. Niether was great but nothing bad happend that i don't feel i was at least 50% responsible for.

No more racing till monday night as i am camping this weekend. Hopefully it will help with this crazy heat. Was still 29 at 1am when i got home from work and has hit 36 without humidity the last three days i am pretty sure....

Stay cool and have a nice weekend everyone. :gtpflag::cheers:

You rule!
I almost spit up some Coors Light “458 Italia”. “figured I’d drive away” “knock ya into a ditch”

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Thanks for making that...

“I said let’s have a clean race”
Thanks. I had fun making it. The website makes it really easy to do. Sorry about the link. I couldn't figure out how to imbed it on this page, like Youtube videos. Thanks for showing me that website. 👍

Managed to improve my Race C qualifying time yesterday, but it hasn't updated the leaderboards. I'm noticing no change at all on positions for quite some time. It's updating normally locally and on friend's list though, anybody else having the same issue? I'm thinking servers are borked and nobody noticed.

I got my GR3 NSX time for Race b into the 1:59's FINALLY. It took forever.

I was right there with the 1:58 ghost from the top 10 (can't remember the player name) until the hairpin. I'm about 2-3 tenths back. From the hairpin onward, I just can't keep up. I lose it all in those last sectors.

For ages I’ve been trying to put my finger on why the new Supra doesn’t evoke any stirrings from me. It’s the rear spoiler, or lack of. It needs something similar to the A80.

The Supra is UGLY. Full stop.

There isn't a good angle on it. It's like a bad kit car version of the FT-1, like those old Ferrari Testarossa body kits for the Pontiac Fiero

That kit is awful. The Mera......

Somehow feel obligated to stick up for the Fiero. Always kind of liked it, shamefully.

Rolling start is fine and all but it really sucks when light goes green and the car was just rolling through Casio corners...not a good way to start a race :nervous:

I noticed the same thing. I improved my race b time but it's not showing it on the website.

My first post here, but don't we all love it?

Race C in a DR A+/A lobby, started from 11th place with a 2:00.328.
Manage to get to fifth place, when this happened.
Luckily the gap to the cars behind was great enough, to keep P5. Still a pain in the arse.

Oh man, i quite enjoyed that... but only because you kept your place. The guy behind you got it baaad.

So true. The others cars are already full accelerating. While the cars in the back basically take control of a dead engine mid-turn.

But I'll take it over a grid start w/false start any day. Nothing worse than staring a race w/ a penalty and everyone driving through your ghost.

Its been on-going for a couple of weeks now. My fastest laps as displayed on the Gran Turismo website are the fastest lap that I managed in my first QTT session.

Where as, unsurprisingly, Kudos Prime displays my actual fastest lap.

Go figure.

Adding salt to the injury is where the game places the car...completely off the racing line. In a corner like Casio, not only do you have to deal with feathering the throttle so you don't spin out but you are also have to worry about re-positioning the car correctly which means losing even more time to the guys ahead who are already running flat out

But i will admit, it is better than the standing start/penalty scenario

I am not all that concerned with starting mid Casio, I get the whole straight to accelerate, while the cars ahead started acceleration much further up the track.

I think they broke something after doing the wipe on race A to get rid of the cheaters. My improved times for the others are not updating, the whole list seems frozen for B & C.

Sharing my currently fastest race C with a total time of 18:50. My average is about 18:52.
