Congrats on the Dub @Winnie847 ! Great race man, at least I stayed within reach that time. :) Although I did get caught watching you in the final turn and almost beached it.

Scored nearly 600 Bucks for that one to get me to 48,394. This is uncharted territory now, but it’s within reach. :)

Also a shout out to Mr @Sven Jurgens who was also in that race, how did you race go man?

I just tried a quick race at Willow, saw @Winnie847 and @Pigems. They finished 1st and 3rd, well done. I got launched over a dune in lap one by a late braker trying to get back to the front, and got another 2 SR Downs from a Brazilian trying to do the same. My first SR loss on this track this week. No reason given for the SR Downs of course, I'm in the way I guess. Now making burgers... (And down to B/S -2300 DR for that race)

I ate burgers just before I won that kart race... Hope burger magic works for you, too...

Sadly not, it got worse:

At least I got to see the penalty reason in action....

The same Brazilian helped me off the road again later, I quit... Don't drive angry, quit instead. Time for some booze, maybe that helps.

Well, that just happened. I got in the low SR.S room. Unbelievable, I finished 4th (from last) getting through the chaos. I did get two SR Downs from who knows what, +1 SR (87), so I get to experience the chaos again lol. Just wow, red Bs and As at the end plus first half of the race was pretty much a constant sand storm

Man, the customer I’m working for right now showed us her antique car today after work, wow! She’s got a 1940 Buick Soup(I think that’s what she called it?), it’s Navy Blue, has a straight 8, 3 on the tree and is completely original other than a new convertible( Rene colour) top she had made for it last year, she’s owned it since 1965, what a beautiful car!! :)
Buick Super

Holy Smokes man, my eyes just about popped right out of my head when the next lobby came up with both Z28 and GTR up front! You wanna talk about being nervous before a race!!

The results were much, much better then I expected thought :D I somehow managed to keep it calm and steady for 5 laps and gained almost 750 DR bucks for that one. Which leaves me at 49.1k now. I’m going out on a high note and calling it a night. Great racing with you all tonight, that was a lot of fun! :)

I wish I could say I passed @Winnie847 and Z28 legitimately, but they both had some early troubles that allowed me to sneak by them. @Winnie847 made a really nice save though to get it back under control and keep on the track, well done man!

This is the full race. :)

When it rains it pours. Apparently I forced another car off track

PD you better turn that back off again, it's just making me more angry.

Pour it does, now down to SR.A.
Correction, down to SR.B now, never had this many 🤬 penalties in a row.

I know how you feel, that's how my SR took a savage dive at the Nurburgring GP circuit last week. Couple of my own issues following too close, plenty of random ones. Don't know what's my problem but I seem to score and do the best at hell hole tracks I don't like. My biggest constant saviours for DR and SR have been Monza, Brands and Willow?!?!?!?

I got some time to hop in on race a for a couple, but shot myself in the foot.
Race 1 lap 1 getting viciously weave blocked by Brazilian in second exiting a turn had to swerve trying to get by since he was slow and induced el spin into last.
Got fastest lap breaking 56 with no draft...Finished what seventh?
Second race started 3rd and made an aggressive move on second turn 2 simultaneously the leader ran wide...
Boom first with solid gap, but trying to really push exit early throttle turn 4 I get loose onto grass and have to lift.
Back to third, battles ensued regaining first but getting bumped under braking turn 4 and passed...
Position swaps the whole race ended with podium so cool beans.
Karts are very fun on that track. We need more kart races!
@Pigems nice run man!
I’m calling it for the night, but have to say Tsukuba is ten times more fun in karts, there’s endless possibilities of maneuver.
I should have had a win, but got a fastest lap which was number fifteen which was cool...Hopefully I’ll get a win before the weeks out...

I do it to myself as well. I'm trying all cars and switch to the next one when I get the clean race bonus (without qualifying). Currenlty I'm stuck with the Citroen GT, a SR Down magnet apparently and after falling below 90 SR it's been a highway to hell. I'm starting behind drivers that don't know the track and either brake way too much or in the wrong places, while I still have people starting behind me doing the opposite. I'm too stubborn to give up on the challenge I set myself so currently down to 23.3K DR and 62 SR. Last race I got rammed off the track a couple times again and while not getting a penalty for it, I still got SR Down lol, neutral rating at the end. The DR discrimination is strong DR.D can bump DR.B off and the DR.B gets the SR Down.

I like Big Willow, but damn, when you're not in the 90+ SR room, racing from the back should be avoided at all cost! I'm trying anyway lol.

There, another red rating, no explanation but should have been "getting in the way of an out of control car" or "not coming to a full stop and quitting in time".

@Sven Jurgens I know how you feel. Honestly I've had some very lucky calls this week. Even came through clean when someone jumped the turn 3 to 4 hill and landed in front of me. Locked up brakes since I saw it coming and the guy behind simultaneously tried to go around the outside. I stopped in time, he didn't and it cleaned both of them out and suddenly I'm in clear air in 4th and 3rd has a 5 sec penalty for knocking the guy off into his jump. I've found on those tracks I have to be super paranoid about the lot of drivers and as long as I can get through lap 1 most of them have fallen back. Certainly drives you up the wall when you get into that run of luck though.

I'm racing from the back, now. Hoping you can clean up your act and raise your SR.

I'm at 53 SR and slightly buzzed. The booze isn't helping my cat like reflexes, not that the citroen GT is very nimble to say the least

5th place finish but somebody tapped me again for SR Down. Citroen GT for ever! 56 SR, +3 per race, I'll see you at 4 am lol.

Finally!!!!

I don't know how many races that took, but I've been racing steady since 8:10... while it was already the 2nd attempt with the Citroen at the 7:30 race before making burgers. (First was a disconnect this morning)

Victory!! Well top 5. I had a great race against a D/B driver who started behind me, racing through the backfield together. I slightly messed up in lap 3, I left room for him to pass, he slightly messed up in lap 4 and left room for me to pass. There still are no contact racers on the track even in SR.B. Here's that slow people race

Time to quit, almost midnight ouch.

I guess I owe RacingGrandpa a big apology. I tried the Mustang tonight in an effort to cut my Q time. And after some tinkering, it worked. In case you're wondering, BB -2 (front), I run weak ABS, & traction control on 2.

Qualifying is one thing, but in the race, well....that's a whole 'nother. How did I do?

And like an award show host, I pulled a quick wardrobe change. Jerry Reed said it best: When you're hot, you're hot.

I'll have videos up tomorrow. 👍

Exactly what happened to me earlier. An out of control car, coming back on track takes ME out, I hit the wall, 4 second penalty, no explanation, race over, and the perp ends with a blue SR rating.

This is the type of penalty that I think needs fixing pronto.
No way should a driver that does this end up with blue SR.
