Oh... ok.. I see.. then Jason´s site is a bit strange on that subject...

How is it possible that if races are to be taken tomorrow, there are already best classification times on the display of best times for such races?????????????
As soon as all the current days races are over you can start running practice for the next days races.

I did Race B once today....was on pole, got pushed into the gravel at the exit of the first chicane in the first lap by no fault of mine...lost countless positions AND got a Penalty because i'm S/S and everyones B***ch it seems...

Had another Qualifying Session after that, which went fine...my mood was better after that :) Currently sitting on Top 1 worldwide.

Just need to start up front, solution to escaping all hell:lol: Was able to get DR max again from these races surprisingly

I saw your replay earlier holy cow those were some consistent laps!

I love the Blue Moon Infield A, but I’m not finding the “flow” of the reverse track in Race C today.

The standard direction is a better drive for sure. Also having a slow corner T1 just invites madness, especially as nobody quite knows the ideal line yet being a new layout

My races on Monza today were the same acronym as my driver rating B/S :banghead:

Lost 48 SR points in one race. From S to B!

Excellent. Thank you for sharing! :)

What brake balance are you using? ABS standard/weak?

Do you have any tips to really push the limit in this car and track?

I think it's almost Brands Hatch flowing, pretty fast track other than the tight hairpin section. I like the reverse better than standard one.

Thank you very much :-)

For this track i had the Brake Balance set at 3 towards the rear and abs set to standard. No other aids activated.

I felt like other than before t1 maybe you don't need to be super aggressive with the brakes. Most importantly you have to get good corner exits because of the long straights. For the corners you generally need to be very smooth and flowing to keep the momentum going.

Thanks for the reply. I will try my best to learn as much as I can from your video!

It’s coming to me but very slow, which that I am.
I can see the Brands Hatch relation, except Turn 1 with that blind downhill is a little more exciting.

Race A - One Make at Tokyo East Outer Loop in the A110
Race B - Gr4 at Monza
Race C - Gr3 at Blue Moon Infield A II

GR4 at Monza was a lot of fun last time, and the new Blue Moon layout reversed might be interesting. The daily races have been much better lately as far as track selection. Much much better than the last few weeks had been.
Thanks for posting. I like to see this before logging on. I do get excited sometimes.

Sorry for asking here, but is there going to be a maintenance today? A few hours ago I got a popup but now I don't seem to have it.
Never noticed anything. Anyone?

Bathurst has mostly M4 on top of the boards...

My Quali lap for today, i took the Aston :)
The one reply
But i've got to say that it's very hard to get it right at bathurst. My combined best sectors were good for a low 2:10,3xx

normally i'm not that far away from my optimal laptime...

Not sure why this quote is here. But i did get to try multiple quotes in the one reply

I got in 2 more races at Brands last night before the switch. This time on my CnF account.

First race is 1 S/S (Driftmethod) 1A/S (me) and the rest B/S. I kept up with Driftmethod for maybe 1 1/2 laps and then hes was gone. Finished 2nd over 7 seconds behind. 3rd was almost 5 seconds behind me.

Second race was 3-4 S/S guys, 3-4 A/S and the rest B/S. Started 5th and finished 5th.

Gained about 1000 DR in 2 races. Not a bad evening over all.
Brands races had a nice group of GTPers around the front of the grid. I also saw Senna52 (aka HoundBoy) and UGA95 showed up to farm some wins. It's nice to see familiar names for fun, clean racing (at least I had no contact in the 4 races I did.)

While slightly bumpy due to the initial learning curve for everybody, bluemoon infield A is such a great track - both standard and reverse to be fair. Love it!

Monza is one of my favorite races. Monza is also killing my SR rating. And other drivers on Monza are killing my overall Sport experience. I love to get on and find a good clean race. I was able to have one although I missed the bonus. After that one good race I had a handful of just terribly bad races involving dive bombers and a few individuals who can't stand to be overtaken so they block and attempt to wreck you at every turn. I just can't believe that these people are able to obtain anywhere from a B-S rating in SR and yet drive like they do on some of these tracks.

On most I'm starting out in the back of the grid and working my way to top 5 finishes but I'm watching my SR drop due to the new penalty system and people taking advantage of the touchy mechanics that come with it. I would really love to just get on and enjoy this game and feel like I'm accomplishing something in Sport mode but, alas I feel like all I'm doing is balancing two ratings that aren't high enough to get clean races for either of them.

If Sport mode is viewed as the "career" mode that your ratings are based off of? Why would I spend time in lobbies playing "casual" matches that don't gain me anything? This game is becoming ever so closer to being trade in fodder to the Gamestop Gods for an MMO or something else. I can't stand to be so disappointed with what little gaming time I have during the day.

Agreed. Having getting used to the reverse layout -- it really works well. They're like a mini Indy. My new test track.

Really good lap mate, couldn't beat that one ;)

I did a bunch of Monza races. It's the cleanest it has ever been, which doesn't mean much for Monza. Compared to the Vulcan it's much much better. I'm actually holding onto 99 SR despite still getting hit from behind in T1 in most races. From second to 12th back to second, fun race. Couple clean race bonuses as well, it all depends on dodging the incoming cars from behind in T1. (Of course starting 2nd to 5th helps a lot)

I got 2 wins by penalties :/ I was in third both times while 1st and 2nd were butting heads, 2nd slows down to scrub on the final straight, first finishes with penalties. Not the way I want to win races.

One more Monza race, then on to the infield.

Looks like I'm done for today, two really bad race C's in a row, guess the east coast evening crowd is on. I had a lagger with 0 bars hit me from a warp and I was going from 176kmph to 0 in a flat second.

I quit playing yesterday for the same reasons.

First race was a lag-fest and the second one was the same and ii couldn' get a single lap in without getting slammed by a car that was halfway aound the track from me. Third race disconected during warmups.

I almost just shut the console down for the night but didn't want a sour taste in my mouth before bed so I fired it back up and tried one more race.

Fourth and final race I got divebimbed on a hairpin and when I caught up to the guy 1 lap later he tried to side slam me so I slammed the brakes and he went flying off the tracks and whiffed big time. That cheered me up a bit until he caught me after I slowed to serve a 10 sec penalty that had accrued from being pushed off the track twice now.

He comes flying in and rear ends me ( way off the driving line) on purpose and then proceeds to sit behind me hitting me every second or so to prevent me from scrubbing penalty time.

Seriously... I've never been trolled like this in any race before (280+ races)

I just pulled away and finished the race with 55 seconds of penalty time

I have never wanted or cared to report anyone before, but this one I did. Closed the game out down 4500 DR points for the night with a big ol sour taste. Come-on people you are better than this.

Those Tokyo races in the Alpine are something else, the cars seem able to pick up a strong tow from almost 2 seconds back and that massive straight means that there are normally at least 5 cars right together into the turn 1 braking zone (which is apparently optional), the races are unbelievably dirty but if you don't mind about your SR they're actually quite good fun.

Driving Monza tonight in the Gr.4 races. Came in wrong in turn one and bumped a guy then like an idiot did it again. Horrible driving by me in this race and it sent me from SR S to SR B, just like that... the worst thing is that I deserved it.
Next race was much better but did not lift SR, only DR ...
Waiting for next race now ....

I hope I wasn't the lagger in one of your races, the 20:30 EST race crapped out on me. I started with full bars, it kept showing full bars, yet for half a lap everything started going haywire before I got disconnected.

I just witnessed the new form of trolling for back markers. One guy 2 laps behind kept feigning attacks on another car and kept driving through him confusing the hell out of him. After the race he said he was just having some fun "tricked you soo many times" in his words. I was driving behind the two catching up as the back marker was slowing him down by obstructing his view. Some people.

It also seems penalties have been dialed back to almost zero on the daily C. Plenty contact in the first few laps and only in one race someone finally managed to give me 1 sec penalty. There also don't seem to be any track limits and wall bounces are free. Cut it as sharp as you can.

No, I didnt get the pleasure of racing in your grids last night as far as I know. I'm going to take a night off racing. I don't have the heart to go through that again lol

I race once at B race last night after a few days off the online mode.
Rank A/S and my quali time was as slow as 1:57:5xx. Luckily matched with all A/S or S/S mates to start at 13th. Started near the back give me a chance to avoid the expected touches at the first chicane though they looks minimal (IMO, they didn't deserve any penalty). In the end all the cars i overtook were penalty serving cars and got clean race bonus. What i need to do was to play attention to the sudden slow down at the straight or exit of corner. A test to my reaction time.

PS I drove a TT on a one make race (Vantage):D

Is it better to serve the 2 min penalty on track or simply drive over the goal line with it ?
Doe it matter ?

Where do you get those stats ?

Just looked at a replay with a guy that acted like a complete idiot in the race. He was running behind me at Monza and he shot straight trough all the barriers in the second chicane and pushed in front of me. Then he fell a need to serve the penalty on the next following straight but weaved back and forth so I ran into him (penalty for me)
Then the slowed down again and I passed. I looked at the replay to see what his race looked like and after he served the penalty he started to run into people and ended last (from third)
I just don't get it. I looked up his SR stats and they are horrible, going up and down .....
He went from a B rating down to the bottom after this race so I assume I will not see him anymore ...
