Does one have to make something extra in order to save the video of your best laptime in a daily race?
I was for like five minutes nr.1 of the european top10 with the WRX TT at Bathurst (race B) but in the top10 list there was no video of my lap available.

Maybe it is because I don't have any more free space to save new replays?

I would be very grateful for your help. I don't want to be called a cheater etc. because there's no video to show the lap...

When you start qualifying, go to top left and click 'replay' then select 'save fastest lap replay'. Or, after you are finished but before you exit, go top left and click 'replay' > 'save replay'
 
@Robben : Do you have to manually save your best qualifying laptime in order for everybody to be able to watch if it's a top10 laptime?
I know how to save replays after a race. I have around 78 replays saved and don't have any more free space left to save new replays.

I don't know tbh, I've never had the luxury of being in the top 10 :lol:

I presumed the game did it automatically if it was a top 10 time... maybe it's because of your lack of space? Not sure.

Congrats... once you are there it is easier to build and hold on to it :) what qualifying time have you set?

If you do try B... note that you can tune the car (power up, weight down) with mileage points

What?????? This is the 1st time that such hapen?? (or not??) I´ve tried yesterday Blue Moon on Gr3... for the 1st time I´ve raced there. although I had a reasonable qualif.time (3rd on start) I got bashed and punted several times.. either on the back or sideways... finished 16Th!! :( a very bad 1st experience... so I´m kinda... afraid of what may happen on my comeback. .to the crime scene!!

Yes, I believe it is the first time this has happened. I can't tell you any more detail though as I am at work :lol:. I have just seen it discussed on the thread 'why do they overtake me'.

Oh... not so good then. The track works better in its original format as opposed to reverse (as last night was)

Well, I had great race at Monza yesterday. I was full of fears for T1 massacre, but somehow managed to slip thru the most bloody action. Spent an hour or so on practicing, started in p6 with 1:58.6 (theoretically could be low 1:57 but could not put it together).
It was all clear race for me, no penalties, not single orange warning. Though still was not declared as clear race, for some reason. Finished 2nd. Gathered 2500 DR points, but only 5 SR points. Anyone can explain me why?

0:53:837 Gotten a couple of poles with it.. Only one minor contact with another car in 8 races now.

Maybe you went slightly off track at some point (perhaps outside the white lines on the last turn)? But saying this, I had a clean race streak of 4 going and finished a race at Yamagiwa on Tuesday with clean race bonus, didn't get the message to say 'consecutive clean race run in progress' but did get the 50% bonus and when I checked achievements page, my run was correctly at 5 :confused:

Hey. No, you don't need to save the replay yourself. If you do not cancel the uploading process and then forget to save the replay (as I did a few times ^^), you can then go to the top10 and download your own lap replay.

I think the only difference is that you won't be able to watch it from the cockpit but I can't confirm this 100%.

It saves it on PD's server but you won't have the replay yourself if you don't save the lap. What you can do is go to the top 10 and download it.

I don't know. Definitely din't run wide at Parabolica, left tires were on the green, not beyond. But that's OK, I'm really glad this race worked good for me.
 
Just did a RACE B with Subaru Impreza Time Attack car ( one make race )

No aero helps, so this car is quite handful, so I put the brake bias to the rear. Braking quite good after the change,

brake at 110m mark while approaching T2 ( Griffins Corner )
still lost a lot of time while negotiating The Dipper

 
So I thought I’d just had the race of my life, I won the Gr1 at maggiore, started 2nd and the leader braked really early on T1 so got past him without slamming into the back of him.

I saw him a few laps later in my rear view mirror getting really big really fast as he attempted a dive bomb but failed, he did knock me off track but I assume the penalty was too great for him to continue so he rage quit I guess!

I found myself 11.5 seconds ahead of second at the end of lap 6 so I pulled into the pit and got some fresh tires and fuel, came out 1st still by 6 seconds. Finished the race ahead by 4 seconds and clean!

BUT they must have expected I’d win because I barely increased my DR :/

A win’s a win anyway
