Race A is a lost cause, i see why Suzuka was the choice 2 weeks ago. Got taken out by an upsetti spaghetti who already had a 5 second penalty while i was leading. People just either dive and get away with it or drop like a rock, no one can race clean and no one can overtake.

And yes this was an S lobby.
You're right about this week's Race A. I hate it with all my strength. There's no fairness in that and I'm through with it. I'm through with Tsukuba and I'm never coming back!

Well I’m lost for ideas. Gave C another go. Started P1 again. Just went flat out in the Lambo. Pitted lap 5 for fuel only. Got jumped by two no stoppers and I just couldn’t catch them despite them being on fuel saving strategies.

Got beat by an NSX and a Porsche that started 17th!!! I guess their tyres made the difference.

Restarted again.

Flat out to end of lap 5 with 0.3 left in tank. I overfill so I can push to the end as that Lambo was keeping pace. I put fresh tyres as well to combat the awd. THe LAmbo was slow cautious in the chicane, where I made my time. Also in the uphill esses, it wasn't buttoned down.

The Lambo fell off in the penultimate lap and then disaster, when it hit the chicane exit and it looked to run out of fuel. Hence, the time difference from the 1-2 seconds gap I had on it.

Aight so I start at P10 in the NSX. I put the fuel on 3. I was saving fuel and falling all the P.17 by the end of lap 3.

Before the end of lap 4, 3 people pitted and I jumped to 14. Lap 5, I overtake to 13. By the end of lap 5, 5 people pitted and I jumped to P8. After the death chicane, I saw six people pitted. I knew it was go time so I put the fuel on 1 during the final turn. By the end of lap 6, I jumped to P5. 3 people made it out in time.

In lap 8 giving it my all, I caught up to P5 and I started fuel saving. I passed him before the bus stop to P4. Starting lap 9, I had 1.9 fuel and draining. Short shifting didn’t help and I was losing time all around.

Last lap...0.9 estimate on gas...

Thankfully P5 fell further behind so I put it on fuel 6. Losing a lot of time. P5 coming in quick. Around the final turn and P5 picks up...

Still won P4 by .485

Everyone conserving. Just go flat out. Pit end of lap 6, with 1 lap in the tank and tyres barely worn. The gearing helps with the economy. Doesn't feel fast, but the brakes are excellent and handling is stable.

Edit: Almost. Started 2nd.
After my pit stop, I came out behind that LAncer in 4th(it finished 41 seconds behind). Decided not to press it as it no-stopped. That SLophy messed it up by hitting me, instead of waiting for a clear path, so we can both pass it. The SLS let me and a couple cars behind me pass it at the start.

Good clean battle with the M4.

For those of us not as fast as others, now is the time to get your Fastest Laps. :)

I'm not feeling it this week. This morning 3 attempts with pit stop only to get bumped from behind early to negate the crb. This evening 3 no stop attempts. First in the Genesis, so boring. I did finish 8th but felt more like a tourist than a race car driver. Next in the Ferrari, got dive bombed in the second half after passing most of the field in the pit, and of course got SR Down for it.

Second attempt in the Ferrari I dodged every car coming from behind compromising my slow 1:51 fuel save laps even further down to 1:53 to 1:55 laps. This is not racing any more, just jump out of the way of anyone that can't hold a simple line in a corner or doesn't know how to overtake. Sure I got the crb with a 10th place finish after going up to 4th at the pit. But when getting the crb means pulling over every time to watch the wall scrapers and corner cutters wobble by, no fun.

Perhaps driving standards will improve a bit during the week. For now, stop or no stop, no go. I'm going to play some No Man's sky in PSVR!!

I delete my save files and start a new game. It keeps my DR/SR, decals & liveries(I can't edit them though), my ME SPECIAL CARS, Wheels, DECALS, HELMETS, PROFILE POSES, SPECIAL COLORS are ALL deleted. In game photos are deleted, but my shared photos remain in the GT Sport Community Site.

Oh, I was thinking it was on the server messing you over. Whew. Glad to hear. But, you may have raised more questions than you answered. :odd:

Not related to the Races, but I was watching Netflix and there's an episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman, guest is Lewis Hamilton. Recommend it. 👍

Just got my alternative account SwitchbladeFlyer up to dra/srs. Ran 3 race cs last night without qualifying. Starting in last place and ending up in 9th, 6th and 5th respectively.

Great fun making all the overtakes, pitting for fuel and tyres. Overall racing fairly clean

Got My SR down to A on Sunday night, the chaos was unbelievable.
Started a race A with the SR a crowd, it was 5 laps of clean, hard racing, I started p11 and ended up as p5. Back in SR S for now.

Q time for Race C is currently sitting at 1:46.325 in the Vantage. Just outside the top 500 in EMEA. I'll see if I can drop into the 45s tomorrow, and then get some practise in for race length runs.

please don't drop into the 45's :lol::lol:
I think i must be on a different page to everyone else... i'm using the Megane (not trophy) and it's getting me my fastest time at 46.19, but i've not heard anyone else refer to it. I can hit the bus stop flat out about 1 in 4 laps with it in qualy but it's such a loose cannon, but so quick out of corners and on straights.
Next quickest is the Huracan coming in at about 46.6 but i think i just need to learn how to drive it properly to get quicker in that.

The NSX sure is a weapon for the week. I'm going to no-stop the Cayman. It was excellent on tyres and fuel. I just didn't bother conserving.

I've found the NSX to be slightly better on fuel but slightly worse on tyres than the Cayman. I prefer the NSX as you can spend a bit more fuel if you need to overtake or defend. The Cayman is basically fuel saving from start to finish.
Kie was using the F-Type in his stream last night and that looked strong. I'll give that a go at some point.

I am addicted to NMS atm, great game.

I picked NMS up after the recent update basically to try it in PSVR. The immersion is off the chart and I love that it's the full game in VR, not just a single mode that you can't really use (like GT Sport!) People say it's blurry, but I imagine this is because they've played it on a TV where it must look stunning. I'm not going to play it on a TV in case it ruins it for me :)

These races really depend on what you want out of it. Cayman was fine either conserving or flat out.

I did have fun in the F-Type. Sips fuel, even when pushing and it's pretty quick.

My fastest finishing time with the NSX is an 18:22, every lap after 1 is a 1:49.xxx, either the car is ridiculously consistent or all of the sudden I found my zen. With the one stop I managed to get an 18:32, so the no stop is the way to go for sure.

One thing I will say for sure, people are ridiculous with the bump drafting and dive bombing in this combo, I almost hit reset earlier because of people just being careless (spinning out and coming back onto the track, bump drafting, dive bombs, using my bumper as a brake) after a big scare I got placed in the lower lobbies with automatic pole, easy wins. Once I made it back up the 90+ lobbies, people started driving like idiots again, if you’re not in the top 5 for qualifying it is completely pointless for you to try to do a 1 stop, your pace will be at best 1 1/2 second faster than the people no stopping and the pit lane is way too long, you’ll just end up outside the top 10 if you play that strat. The one stop is only effective if you can build at least a 12 second lead by lap 6.

Just had my second night of mixed nuts on DT. Good solid first race, nothing major but dropped 2 spots due to my crappy 3 side slams in the chicane of death in the first 5 laps, but still good. Second race :banghead::mad::crazy:🤬🤬🤬!!! Racing well into fifth from eigth when on lap 2 somebody blows the first chicane, spins through it, hits me and goes off. Missile impact knocks me off track and gives me 3 seconds. Drops me to 6th, then 12 after penalty served. Pass one guy next lap and he gets ******, so as I get past he taps me then the wall, bonus 2'seconds. Now cruising in 16 (18 in race) I spend the rest of the race playing catch up. Pass another driver who blew the chicane, but wait, he steers me completely into the wall, and keeps pushing me there! Guess what, no penalty for me, but no penalty for that muppet either. Catch him and pass on last lap so he taps me and drives off track. I get another 1 sec penalty:mad:. But he blew it and lost 1.1 pulling the stunt so I still finish ahead. Lost a fantastic 28 SR in that race, also didn't mention when I got punted into the wall at the hairpin before the chicane, or blasted out of first chicane and didn't get reset. Had to back up and turn around!

Sometimes I wonder. Third race was great, couple of wobbles on my part, relatively clean race despite a lagmonster and an overall net on the DR, but still fuming about losing 1000 DR in that race of hell, and not seeing others with penalties. Got to watch that replay and video again to see wtf happened and how I am at fault.

Haven't seen Kie's stream but I've been rockingthe F-type. Super stable, solid turn in and good, just find fuel mileage is rough.

yesterday i win 3 racs i did with a Mustang going flat out and pit no tires only splash and go i was lapping low 1:46 by the time i pit the gain is over 15 sec on second place so i come back right behind im using full power and plenty of passing opportunity on this layout , i did bunch of race last week and yesterday and in all those races i have pit and never missed a podium finish and only met one dirty racer who save fuel and do everything to block zigzag in straight breaking late and bump me after i passed im but all other races was really clean yesterday i even saw someone slow down to let me go so my opinion is we have much less dirty racers than couple month ago .
