The connections baffle me, sometimes I’ll be home alone, so no one else is using my internet. I’m hardwired to give me the best connection and I’ll be red bar during the warmup, 2 bars during first lap then back to green. So strange.

On another note, all has gone well at the hospital, and I’ve not been on anything to make me high so could get a few runs in the Bugatti on nurb tonight after all!

Not trying GR1s I know my limits with the DS4.. I will have to try to really get into the fuel races though. Race A is getting boring!

Got to say, the SRA drivers seem dirtier than the SRBs . I keep nudging up over the edge and getting SRA class races, and each time I get bumped back down, each time so far by someone who refuses to drive cleanly managing to get me a penalty.

Last night I tripped back up, got a tokyo race full of SRAs, and a guy who was in 2nd, with me in 3rd both cleanly lapping way ahead of 4th, just brake-checked me through the fast s bends, 100% deliberate and unprovoked. I almost avoided him (didn't try to use it to pass, tried to brake to not hit him), and only got a 2 second penalty for tapping him, but it was plain dirty, no reason for it at all but trying to get rid of me in case I threatened his place I guess.

Odd thing to do really, I was in fact perfectly happy following him as he was as fast, maybe slightly faster than me.
 
Today's choices were all something that i preferred to avoid, except the Manufactures race.. i guess i got lucky:

That one felt good, it helped there weren't any smurfs or high ranked players around :-)
 
Made a late decision to do some laps at Daily Race B. To my surprise I still got second place on the leaderboard. My lap with the M6 was quite an intense one, really hard to get it right with that car on Nürburgring GP.

I hope Yamagiwa (or + Miyabi section) comes up with GR3/GR4 again soon.
Whoever created that circuit deserves a pat on the back.
It reminds of me of the original Silverstone, predominantly a high speed circuit but with some tricky chicanes which provoke drivers to hold their breath when side-by-side.
 
Finally got back up to SRS. Teetering on the DRB door. Had a race where an alien pulled out in front and I never saw him again but held onto 2nd on Daily A. Trying to advance to DRB tonight.

Daily C hasnt been bad either. Havent tried B cause the Dragon intimidates me...
 
I just noticed that on Race B, the countdown starts much sooner (1st place is usually mid-corner at the last turn)

I think it's why so many people get clean races at Race B. By making everyome go through the last turn first, the field can get separated. I've done many races now on Race B and even the hybrids can't catch up to me in my LM55 (for the lack of a Porsche) because of that last turn. Might be an annoyance to some people but for me it's my saving grace :D

Yeah the last turn first gave me a 1sec difference between the guy in front to the guy behind making T1 Soo much better. I think they found a solution. Doesn't work on tracks like interlagos tho. The striaght is just too long for that

True though. But this is a step forward. Hopefully they find other solutions to other tracks :) (Looking at you Monza)
 
Had a great race on Nurburgring in GR.1 today with my Bugatti.
No crazy penalties while some paint being traded. I was hit in the back a few times so I know that some others got penalties :-)

Ran my first sport mode race since like the first month of the game being out. Ran 2 races in the Porsche LMP at Nurburgring. First race I started 14th because I didn't have time to qualify. Finished 6th after being taken out by someone else. Second race I started on pole and won by 5 seconds.
 
Race A: N300 Nordschleife
Race B: N500/600 Yamigawa Reverse
Race C: Gr4 Bathurst (Night)
Race D: GrB Fisherman's Ranch
Race E: Gr3 Oval Endurance (choice of RH, RM or RS)

Me too, practiced whole day, entered that 20:00h race and when counter reached zero it said, bye bye, ur are number 87 :)

Funny but truth.

I can only imagine under what pressure you were specially if not winning superstars regularly...

Update: I'm on, though I said I won't play anymore

Didnt have time to qualify and went from 18-9 and got FL on first go. Hppy with that start, mostly similar graded drivers too
 
Just got SR from S to B bcs one small touch...
I never fell from S.

Now I really don't care anymore

Does anyone race with a Pad on race C?
Suzuka with Gr.1 and a controller is just frightening. Mistakes unavoidable :scared:

But I'm looking forward to race at Interlaces again. I just need to find the right car for today :)

Wouldnt even consider it. struggled to get a qualy lap finished!

Atenza is nice at Interlagos.. but then I wouldnt have a clue if that means competitive-fast.
