I use to be very upset when I have to go with an idiot around me on the track. And to be honest, even if my race was ruined by someone, it is a lot different "feeling" at the end, when the one pushed/bumped me apologizes. And usually they are fair, and it was just a mistake - which I also do sometimes. So basically I am happy if someone sees his fault and admit it correctly. (The real idiots apologize rarely.)
Fact is we have a 2017 911 RSR, which is a GTE car IRL. So it doesn't actually fit into GT3 class. I don't know how aero works in the game though, but GTE is much advanced than GT3 in that.Yep, I know. The 911 GT2 if I remember correctly
Not to mention the 911 GT3 RS we have in this game is pretty OP
But that doesn't stop it from being so deadly (compared to the other layouts)
luckily, though, haven't met many rammers, except for an austrian guy who didn't give me room before the last chicane, and sent me flying into the grass (no SR loss for me). Turned out he had 12 secs of penalty so he arrived last eventually. Getting ready for the 3rd run!
This is so easy to solve by simply ghosting those in the process of reducing penalties - such an easy rule to implement and it will address the problem completely! The penalty system wouldn't be half as bad if people took their penalties OFF the racing line, but no, that's too much for some braincells to consider...

Well, to be fair, a lot of people here do complain that their SR gets huge hits in a single race. Granted not all of them deserve that, but the game technically did purge them of their ratingOr by purging them from that rating because they should know better

I was in the TT p5 in that one. Couldnt believe it when i saw both them ghosted on the final corner...unluckyJust raced 2 race b. The first one was not well due to penalty of my “error” exiting track limit. 👎
The 2nd one started at 3rd (video). Follow the 1 & 2 till the last corner of lap 2. A bump between them and gave me the chance to steal the win.
Question to mates: is it my driving too conservative. E.g. the first corner at the start. And I always break 5-10m earlier if I am tracing. Welcome your comment. 👍
Exactly the reason I was driving the Audi R18 in today's GR1 Suzuka race. Usually it was just me and maybe two or three other brave souis in something other than the Porsche 919. The Porsche cup in GR1 is way worse than in GR3...

The solution to the penalties is to go back to DR.B
That's my DR this weekend, every time I start getting the nonsense penalties again I pit in the last lap of the daily C and sit there not choosing tires to finish last and go back to DR.B. Then I can race again for a couple races without worrying about penalties from people rear ending me.
It's kinda fun, fuel for 9 laps instead of 10, surprise the car pitting in front, then pit at end of lap 9, race done, bye bye penalties.
As for competition, it's pretty much the same at max SR anyway. You won't be getting any wins by dropping from DR A to B, still the same fast unreachable (for me) players up front.

Some will take you out of the race then apologise by flashing their hazard lights at your motionless car whilst they don't even lift off the throttle.
