Was in second place,
Passing the pit exit
Player comes out of the pit and hits me full force.
I try to control the car not to hit the wall
Got 17 seconds penalty!!
On top of the hill I’m with 35seconds...
No place to take the penalty out!!
From 3rd to second to last....
 
1st race and punted twice in the 1st lap 6th to 18th. Plus a penalty new update has brought back the dirty races have fun

So it seems this "patch" is just another few moves with the eraser and the pencil in the sketch called "sport mode". Nice.
 
I had the worst FIA manufacturers yesterday. Qualified 5th. Great racing over the first to laps. Get to the fast really long left hand sweeper and the car I'm drafting swerves hard left to reveal a practically stationary car serving a penalty. I hit him full beans and get a 3sec penalty. I scrub most straight after the hit as I'm now travelling really slow leaving about 1.300sec on my penalty. I try to serve it entering the pits at the end of lap 5 thinking everybody else has pitted, and there's nobody in my mirror.

Nope,there's a guy flying up behind me as I scrub the pen. I stay as left as I can and bang, he hits me and I get a 5 second penalty.

The penalties I got were my own fault, although frustrating, but the serving of them was a real issue.

I'm sorry to the guy who I snared in pit entry. He sent me a "I'm a jerk message" which I probably deserved, but damn, he had long enough to see me.

To top the lot, I'm battling back through the pack to then be met by a disconnect (which I've not had in months).

All in all, a very bad day at the office. I was due one I suppose, but what a horror show. Gutted.
 
Sweet! So they changed the grip levels for super soft for the F1500? Maybe that will be the final tweak to get me past Brands Hatch so I can finally get back to the dailys! Untill I cracked that one, nothing short of the Nordschleife will get me back. That's assuming stupid Sony will actually let me log on :banghead:.

Yeah, I guess I'll pass on Race C too :scared:

And I guess I'll give the Gr.4 Citroen another shot. It was quite competitive against all those M4s lately.
Or I'll go total crazy and try out the McLaren or Jag :O

Merc A45 AMG.


Today for me, definitely Nations (gr. 4 Nurb GP) and then hopefully get some B races in.
 
I expect to dabble in A and B today, but I won't hold my breath about gaining DR/SR. It'll probably play out a lot like yesterday.
 
Had a really good day (weekend, actually) until my very last race which was gr. 4 Interlagos... started last, over 0.5 second behind the next guy... finished 15th, had some penalties, lost 23 SR, down to SR/A for the first time since setting up home in S 19 days ago :(.

Saw my man @banckzy in BB Raceway and Interlagos too :)

I'd pay a lot of money to have a classic track's dlc pack. Miss hot lapping Tokyo R246 Grand Valley.
 
Penalty Update: I've been fortunate to be on pole and win all 4 races at Race B thanks to clean drivers (S/S), so I can't say I have had enough experience with new penalty system.
However, exiting final turn at Lago Maggiore Central with the Porsche side-by-side with contact may trigger a penalty. Guy locked up next to me, veered right towards me, but he got the penalty. Harsh as I only lost about 0.5 seconds from it. It was slight contact, slightly more than a simple paint trade.

So, I would still be careful. I am still 50/50 on racing at Blue Moon Bay Speedway in the FIA Nations Cup tonight.

Managed a 43.834 in one race without slipstream as I was in 1st. Should be 1st in the leaderboards :(

After all this time we finally got to race haha
 
Well I quite enjoyed today's daily sport races though I have only raced two of them, the Merc A45 AMG event
at Nurburgring and done a qualifying time for Gr3 and had one race of it but didn't do very well so if anyone
on here was driving a Result RS and got hit by a Haruhi livery Porsche my apologies.

As a result of my morning I am finally on the verge of going up to Driver Rating C/SR rating still S but the racing
today seemed good, lots of decent racing though I saw quite a few spin outs on Maggiore Centre.

Well, not so much 'race' :lol: I drove past you when you spun out on BB once and then followed you round the last lap of Interlagos once. The rest of the time you were miles ahead

I gained 3000 DR doing those 3 BB races on Saturday - door number was 19, 20, 19! Great when you get put against people much better and then manage to steal points :)

I did Brand's hatch with race soft tires rear race medium front while the server was down. I didn't see an option for super soft or maybe I was temporarily blind. The only change I made was to set the down force to max for Brand's hatch on my second attempt. First time I got taken out by the AI getting boost fever in corners.
Suzuka was harder as the F1500 does its acceleration over steer in bad places on that track, counteract in time.
Interlagos was easy after the practice in the FIA race :)

I was quite surprised by it, I thought it handled quite well but turn the traction control down to get best performance/handling
out of the car, might actually have to buy one.

Overall good top speed, responsive brakes and handling make it an all round good car to me. 👍
