I feel the key is the first and last turn as well as the second turn after the long straight.

The first turn is really important. Slow in fast out is definitely the way to go there. Also for the last turn by the way.

Stop giving a GR4 secret away!!!

For the first time today, I actually saw a grid that was 60% Atenza GR4. I've been using this car solely for GR4 races sine the start, and have never seen this car so popular.

The thing is, it's actually a worse handling and less competitive as it was before the last BOP change.

Go figure!
 
Suzuka was great tonight! Very clean racing against A/S and B/S drivers. Only had one race with a lag-fit and disconnect. All the others were fast and consistent. Nights like these keep me coming back for more. This game is stealing my life :dopey:

One of the virtues of a racing driver is to be patient as you can see in this video. Driving the Mazda Atenza.
I could not gain position the last two laps but look in the end of the last lap .... :-)

 
I was hoping to put in another GR.1 go on Suzuka yet the server maintenance is still on. Good fun on Suzuka, very little incidents and if something happened it was usually lag. I love it when you get in the zone with a fast car on Suzuka, it's like meditation. With that said I'm going to take the F1500 out for a spin on Suzuka, already did Brand's hatch and Interlagos while waiting.

Agree, patient pay a great part in current penalty system.👍
The black limbo behind you was not as patient as you.:irked:

Yeah that was me. I had a situation where i had a penalty at blue moon then got another which took it over the 5 so esculated eventually it went to 25 so from now i just take them when i get them then go hard to the finish

I made my back to Sr S today having some nice clean competitive races at the front and in midfield and as soon as I was in an S race the ramming starts again. Hit from behind in the middle of a corner - no worries here is a 3 second penalty - 1 lap later same guy sideswipes me while on a straight and I get a 10 second penalty?????
At the end of the race this guy was in first without so much as a red dot and I was back down in 12th.
 
Will see if there's any difference in penalties, last Monza race up in 5 minutes. I missed the last Suzuka race thanks to the daily bonus car. Next C race is GR.4 on Mount Panorama

I got hit at T1 and bumped into during the race, never got a penalty nor SR Down arrow on screen, yet still lost 5 SR. There were plenty others with penalties though and people serving penalties in terrible places, still not ghosted.

I did bump NosOsH after he was serving a penalty in traffic right after T1 on the long bend, I guess since he is also A/S we both would have gotten a penalty for that before the patch.

I got pushed off track going side by side with someone around a pretty high speed corner, he went wide on exit to push me off and it worked but no nudging victim penalty. I kept it straight tho and made it back to track and by then he slammed on his brakes to serve a penalty for that.
I felt pretty good about it and i only lost 1 position because of it.
 
Todays races look perfect to try out the new Penalty System :scared:

Generally devs don't refer directly to glitches and exploits that are fixed.

Alternatively the fixes can be incredibly minor things like a small graphical error on a circuit or car
