After a break I started my final run for SR.99 unqualified on the Nord. I started at SR 83 after getting screwed over again earlier. First race this evening, I end up with a 5 sec wall penalty for avoiding a dirty block after flugplatz. First time I got a wall penalty on Nord, I guess you have to lose lots of time before it triggers

. Then another 0.5 sec penalty later for avoiding another dirty move. 5.5 sec onto the straight in 3rd, still finished 6th after getting rammed into the wall by a Brazilian who got away without a penalty. However +3 SR to 86. SR.S is so dirty!
Once I hit 99 I'll do a qualifying run. Dunno if I still have energy left to race after that but I should mark the time on KP so I can check back later when the Nord was on

Starting 10th next in front of an American and Canadian. Perhaps this race can finally earn me some SR.
3rd place is so bad at the entry to the straight I have no choice but to go on the inside and pass early. He drafts back to halfway overlap so we get into the final section side by side. Left turn I stick all the way to the outside, goes well. Right turn I take as tight as possible 2 wheels in the grass, 4th place is half a car behind but turns into the apex anyway

Bounces off me, 2 sec penalty for me. I kept 3rd place cause he spun himself after hitting me. -3 SR, back to 83.
3rd race, score! Victory from 11th with CRB +5 SR to 88. I was in 4th following the penalty train onto the straight. The only other Canadian who was in first tried to run me off on the straight. I feigned right, he tried to block right, I veered left and passed him. Why act so childish. At least he didn't want to risk a penalty so left me going when I was alongside.
I know in F1 you can make one defensive move, but if one car is going much slower, is it a valid move to make a last second block when another car comes from behind? I guess they don't often deal with that in F1, no penalty zones
4th race, 6th place finish from 14th with CRB again. +4 SR to 92, into the dirty SR.S room. As if the 80-89 split wasn't dirty enough. I had to brake hard in this one as I wasn't quite sure how to negotiate this
Are we playing the road is lava? Not +5 SR this time since I accidentally punted a dirty blocker. I managed to brake twice for him already, when he screwed up a third time the speed difference was too great to avoid his last second block. The game ruled in my favor
5th race, 6th place finish from 12th with 3rd CRB in a row! +4 SR again to 96, no clue who hit me. The start was interesting:
The one bar Brazilian that falls back there and started on pole caused a standing for the whole field. Then he re appeared as the winner, 10 sec ahead of everyone else at the finish. I was in 5th until the last 10 seconds, suddenly 6th. I guess he got a normal start and drive the race alone. Nice cheat!
6th and final race without qualifying, 7th place, 4th CRB in a row, to 99 SR

That literally took all week after dropping to SR.B Monday night. Yet I stuck to it, competitive racing from the back, no compromises.
Day / DR / SR
648 27645 B 99 S
647 26726 B 85 S
646 20866 B 65 A
645 29133 B 49 B
644 26254 B 47 B
643 21822 B 45 B
642 36175 A 99 S
Reset to 15K Monday night and 7K Friday night. The verdict, don't race in the evening / night, except Sunday nights. Those are generally very clean. That last room had one neutral rating, rest all blue.
Qualifying time!
My conservative driving style gets me a 8:10.249 lap on the 2nd lap. No time for more, signed up for the next race lol. Looking back at when this combo was on last March, I had a Q time of 8:10.411, pretty consistent

That earns me a 4th place start. So many people behind me to bump me
The race starts. I fall back a bit in the first section since I have the least experience there going fast. I get some pressure from 4th place but he messes up at Flugplatz and falls back a second, just out of draft range and stays there. I speed up in the second half and finally manage to close the gap for the last 2.5 minutes. A nail biting finish follows
All the experience gained pays of and I manage to keep the car under control for victory!
That brings my total victories on the Nord to 140 (15 this week) out of 921 races completed on the Nord, currently my most raced track in GT Sport. (2nd place is Mount Panorama at 824 races)
Amazing week in SR.B. I learned so many new places to overtake on the Nord, so many great races and a couple not so great. Getting out of SR.B is very hard in a sprint race worth only 5 points while starting mid backfield. I think I only got to start dead last once or twice, starting as high as 4th earlier in the week, the same as I just did after qualifying
Qualifying early got me to A+ in March, but that had many pole to flag not so very exciting races. This week I managed to get 56 clean races while overtaking from the back, definitely more fun.
Best track ever made! Now let us use a different car next time PD
