Gr4 at bathurst has been a good test since its my favourite track. I have been focusing on trailbraking which i had gotten away from it seems but i just never noticed. Like i still trailbraked but not enough. I have been driving great so far this week. Back to abs default since last week. Hopefully i can keep it up lol.
I can't really answer your question (I know you weren't necessarily asking me), but I can describe the experience I had between the two ABS settings...
In my very early days with the game, I once switched from full to weak just for testing purposes and completely forgot to change it back for weeks... When I finally realized what had happened, I was totally reliant on the extra grip weak ABS gives and most importantly it fitted my driving style...
Which was do all the braking in a straight line then turn...
But as I got better at the game, I started trail braking more (the act of braking and entering a corner at the same time) and I found trail braking to be more difficult with ABS on weak...
In cars which I had set the brake bias to the rear, the cars would simply snap into oversteer the moment I released the brakes...
Switched back to full ABS and I can now carry a lot of speed into corners and still control the car...
The best advice I've heard regarding ABS is: go with whatever you feel comfortable, there isn't really a faster setting...
