Stopping didn't seem that bad, the leader only lost like 5 seconds when he did it in your stream. IRL that's a 25 second pit stop in F1. But since you are forced to use hards that changes things.

Cool, thanks for the info. I waited to long to pit in that one, I kinda forgot about it lol. Once I pitted though it was nice to be able to push harder at the end. :)

Edit: I really need to remember to map the OverTake button before the next race.

Spa to the rescue:

Last week I was starting to feel like I should just let it reset. It would be my first. What are people using at Spa? I'm using the F-Type, BB -1. It sounds so good, I have to put the volume all the way up for it. The joys of living alone!!!!

Well maybe if u watched some of the other threads you''ll see all the whining about the whole penalty system and other stuff, this is a reason some ppl using alt accounts and will react different when they get punted in a race your naive if u dont believe that.. but whateva man.
I care about the game and the people who care in general!
One day you'll understand it 💡
So people in the penalty threads are creating alt accounts to bash people around. Maybe I'm naïve but seems like a waste of time to me. But also sounds like another valid reason to make an alt account if other people are doing that . I don't want to get bashed around on my main account.

If you're going to take that and apply that to everyone that has an alt account, that's on you.

Glad to see those charts! Gives me a hint of what mine could look like over time only got some 40-ish days of driving but I recognise the trend ^^, Some days are just terrible with all that happens. Today Spa was a SR killer, but yesterday I had several clean races. All depends on who surround you for the moment. Managed to get a few SR back from Race A just now. 1 point from being back in Sr S luckily

Thank you for not having it mapped. Figured I was the only one, and I REALLY needed it last night in second race. Struggled to get the good run to get past a laggy blocker for ages and lost too much time. As close as I kept getting that overtake would have made it a lot easier. Also helps if people realize that in a hairpin just beating someone to the apex doesn't grant you the corner. You have to he able to.make the turn. Both hairpins people come through nearly straight with a late stop while I am almost through the corner, but actually turning. They have no hope of making the corner but hit you anyway as it was a hopeless dive bomb where they simply think physically arriving at the apex first Grant's them magical passing powers. I just need to get faster.

Also found that pitting makes a huge difference. Was still able to put in a low 1:30 on lap 12 that way. Much faster than nursing tired tires.

A couple quick race and after work. I did the first one with no warm-up as I logged in just in time for the race. A little sloppy, but no big drama.

The second one, in P5, me and the guy behind me got taken out by P7 at the bus stop. No penalty. Those two continued to tangle the rest of the way. I just stayed out of it with a comfortable buffer behind me.

DR still trending up, though not as quickly as yesterday. I’m about 3000 higher than I’ve been before already.

Edit:

started P5 with way faster Bs and As in front of me both races. Hard place to race from, as it’s hard to catch their slipstream. I’ll pull ahead a couple seconds, and I get caught on the straights.

edit again: finally figured out eau rouge. Able to keep it floor and maintain 130-132 through it in the F-type. No limits penalties over the last few races.

Did great today with the Aston Martin at Spa.
Great power and awesome handling compared to the Corvette.
Earlier having just raced at Spa with the Porsche and managed 7th place, decided to try it with the Aston and got 4th place

What is actually a competitive time (non-alien of course) at Spa with Gr4 cars during the races ??

I've been "throwing" races after I returned to qualifying/racing with a wheel and what I observed on my way down from high to mid DR B is 2:29.5 or below will easily place you near the front. I'm at 2:29.9 and now starting in the top 5.

What are people using at Spa?

I've switched between the Veyron, Viper and Lexus. I set my fastest time in the Lexus although I'm more consistent in the Viper.

Rough night. Getting more consistently fast while qualifying, but wasn’t able to translate it to the race. Had to deal with a lot more traffic tonight. The last two races, I had people try to go side-by-side through the eau rouge. Like seriously....follow me through and slipstream pass me on the straight. That way everyone gets to go fast. No one gets to go fast if you try to go two wide there.

Which corners do you guys try to pass at Spa?

At the end of Kemmel Straight and at the chicane of course but also at the hairpin Bruxelles. If you nailed the line in Les Combes you may be able to get side by side for the braking zone. Other than that, like you said, you only allowing people to catch you up.

But racing side by side for many corners is one hell of a thrill.

I had good luck today.
Even with people trailing me on the last chicane, they didn't try anything dirty.

Just trying something at the chicane can be considered dirty. It's a tight place, you really have to be perfect to do a clean overtake there.

My quali time is 2:29:4, however in the lobbies that I've raced in, that's good only for P10-P14 :indiff:....Anyway, it's been a few weeks since I've logged in and I've noticed something is really off with how the car handles under braking.....did they change something in the last updates? I've been using the M4 and I know it's really prone to understeer but man, when you turn that wheel under braking, it's like the front of the car is on ice....there's no grip whatsoever and it just slides.

I could care less about alt accounts, im just saying u making things worse if u making alt just to act like some of those clowns online lol
Everyone so far has stated that they don't use their alt accounts to act like dirty drivers. Not sure where you got that idea from, or where that comes from in general.

My alt account was meant for revenge. But, I used it long enough to get to C/B & it is collecting dust. I need to fill it out a bit more because the garage is a bit thin. I've ridden the DR/SR roller coaster on my main account, whether it was my mistake or someone else's.

By the way, anyone else find the Gr4 cars to be extremely slow at Spa?

I have. It's been exacerbated by the fact that 80-90% of the races I've run this week have been C races with the SF19.

@Mistah_MCA the more B races I do, the more I realize how incredible your lap time is. That is so good. Your skills are phenomenal.

Not to mention that @Pigems is right on his tail. Or maybe that's in race C.

The 86 is good. Went well in my first race, with 3rd place from the dreaded 5th dimension starting position.

Mustang in the 2nd race. Again 5th place in the Phantom Zone.
Got 3rd, but 4th was on one red dot. I was battling to get underneath at Blanchimont, but the Princess Vanelope F-Type was making it impossible.

ONE race at Catalunya.
Qualified P3 with 56th fastest EU time 01:26.391
TRL AUgh and someone else in front, for whatever reason a bunch of B and C drivers in this race (I was A+ S)
Dive bombed chaos into T1, everyone came out with 5 secs, then bounced around all over the place by the B and C drivers all race until I was reset as shown.

They simply should not allow lower ranked drivers into such races if we have to pay the price. I'd rather a race of only 4 cars near my rank than suffer this. Also - THIS is why people have alt accounts. The penalty and matching system is bad enough that, given enough attempts one day this WILL happen to you, it's just probability at play.
