Nice livery!

Thanks. It should look slightly familiar.

Strategy guide for tomorrows daily race C at Autopolis. Could be interesting come last few laps and encourage a few controversial overtakes lol

Anyway hope helps get some folks prepped for tomorrow

I know this is probably a stupid question but how do you know what the new daily races will be? Do they post them somewhere?

Okay, 3 laps each car. Only upgradedc cares or "stock" N500. Didn't try hard, as I wanted to get a feel for each. I'm going to just have fun. Probably qualify with the COuntach '74 and leave that time for the week.

First off, the most fun cars in my selection are:
1. 996 - I kept looking at the "old" gauges, compared to the 997. I kept bouncing off the limiter because, it was so much fun driving the thing.

2. Cobra - top off and the sound. Short gearing and the power is just laughable. brakes and handling are what I expected at this track. Good. It's a wildebeest in snake skin(whatever the heck that means).

3. TuRD Fundra - Again, off-throttle tuck in. It's a characteristic I love in these virtual cars. No understeer to be heard of. It tucks in tighter than a G.I.'s bed sheets. Can't wait to try it and see how it compares to other cars. Pretty quick out of corners and the brakes retard speed nearly better than the top five cars. I'm excite.

F50 is a gem. I t's another mETA I stay away from in FIA races. However, it's a sheer weapon on upshifts. The sound is glorious and with on Downforce Level 50 in the rear, that's a lie. It corners like a cat on carpet. PD found a balance with that Natural Frequency setting. Smooth smooth smooth.

F40 is another weapon. Doesn't feel at all like the F50 and the numbers show. Pure race car.

Big disappointment is the RE. Funnily enough, I wonder if the suspension settings are form the RE in that video I posted. Tsuchiya-San was saying the engine is fine, but set up isn't ideal. Feels the same with this car. Sure, it needs to be driven smoothly, but even then, it's a bit sketchy when gently feeding in the power while cornering. Maybe it'll feel better in race conditions.

The Lambos are out of their league.

Viper was cool. Gearing was fine for the track, but I find the front plows into the final corner and T1. Adjusted my braking point and it was better, but "feels" like it's tipping over the left front tyre. Still fun car though.

997 is solid. Not as fun as the 996. The 997 is very sharp. All business.

C7 Road Car will probably get beat by Gr.B Road Cars, if I come across them. Nice car, but not exciting.

I've never driven a Ferrari GTO or a Ferrari 328 GTS, but I bet the GTO feels like a 328 GTS. Maybe even the 308 GTS. Felt the Magnum PI vibes while blasting down the straight. Crazy how the BOP makes this care barely quicker than the Fundra.

Anyway, first race coming up.

First race done. No strategy. Look like the MR vcars have better tyre life. R.S.01 got shuffled down from Pole. Went by three of us easily.

If MR cars have the better tyre life then how come the top 10 only has 2 MR cars?

I have got to say that for a straight 10 lap sprint Autopolis and it's psycho curves and chicanes are making it a bit of a test for consistency. Got pushed wide in the crest hairpin first race and found tires still dirty on final turn. Cleaned by turn 1, but any off track mistake causes a bigger delay than normal to get things clean. Also finding that managing the wear makes a massive difference in the last half.

My 2 races had people yo-yo ing through the field due to turn 1 curbs and passes in the tight corners, but I wasn't keeping up and had my own mistake running wide near the end to just run salt in the wound. So I dumped my trusty RC-F for the Citroen GT batmobile. Much more stable, better on tires. Did much better in that race, started 10th, climbed to 6th, simply ran wide going 2 wide through that long left hander after the first hairpin while trying to leave room. By the time I got back on and cleaned my tires I was 17th. Still managed to work my way back to 9th on final lap, but did the curb spin exiting turn 1 and ended up barely clinging to 10th. So all good fun. Lots of different cars doing well in the race, just depends what car and driving style match up to keep you up to speed the whole way.

@EinsTheOne the MR cars hold better speed through the race, top ten is a no tire wear hot lap, anything can lay down a good time fof the 1 lap.

Yeah, tried a race A as well.:lol::lol:
I could at least see the last car ahead of me somewhere ahead when I finished. So I got that going for me. Might work to try and learn it, but at least I didn't crash and didn't time out.:sly:

The 911 RSR is MR as well. THe R.S.01 got booted at T1. Came back through the field. The 458 was behind me most odf the race, but had better corner exit speed. Got a good run on me in the final corners at lap 6 for 10th. Big Lexus wasn't bad, I didn't get left behind and actually was on the tail of the Jag, but the MR cars were a bit better.

Got mine as well.
What's interesting is that it doesn't show up in Brand Central...
Part of it being a unique gift.

Anyone tried out the new supra with bop on and compared it to the other cars?
I won't get a chance till tonight.
Kinda liking this week's races. I like autopilots, it's a good test, tsukuba looks wild in the Re-Ameriya, and even kyoto in the new 86. Yes it's Japan w|k for sure, but pretty varied o a little something for everyone.
