Question for u guys:

How do u handle a guy who hits u purposely 7 times in 5 laps?

I was doing the Civic race at Blue Moon and I didn't qualify well because I only had 2 laps before the race (not that 20 laps would have helped anyway).

There were 3 of us vying to stay out of last place. I race clean (SRS). I passed cleanly as well, waiting for the other 2 guys to make mistakes.

One of the users rammed me 7 total times, from behind, from the side, from everywhere. The first couple times was in the getaway at the opening of the race and I figured he may be new or just struggling.

It wasn't long before I realized he was targeting me to pass me.

He rammed me 2 turns before the finish line to overtake me. I figured I'm finishing last, yet again, and I was fuming but had no outlet for my rage.

I raced as hard as I could but I wouldn't have caught him, except for the fact that he rammed the other car directly in front of him at the last turn.

He spun wildly out of control and I beat him to the line. That felt good but also a little hollow. I'm embarrassed to say I wanted to punch him.

I clicked on his name and submitted a report but I wish PD could actually review the race. They would ban this guy for sure.

Sorry for the rant. But, I'm a guy who'd rather finish last than race dirty

I don't. I had some similar races yesterday like that and had me pretty frustrated
Moved to Race B (as well as regions)

If he drives like that normally the results are gonna show themselves

Also, a question for u guys:

Outside of posting them here, could I just go to a users profile within the game to see ur replays? I could learn from them, I'm certain.

Provided that we share our replays and you know our PSNs, why not? And since you're also in control of the replay, you can see the race from angles that may not be usually covered when uploading a replay on youtube
 
I just finished Blue Moon Bay Gr. 3, 20 very intense laps. Grabbed 3rd place, up from a 5th qualifying spot. I was rewarded with the clean race bonus, plus 1100 driver points and 9 SR points.

It was so intense I saw cars pitting and didn't even realize 10 laps had gone by :scared:

I seem to do better on courses with few turns.
 
My Nurb experience wasn’t as good, lol.
After only getting one sloppy lap in for qualifying, I sat 16th, aka, last on the grid. By turn 4, I noticed a Viper banging his way toward 13th from the 15th spot. He shoved a car or two out of the way and got sideways, allowing me to pass on the inside. He was flashing his lights at me madly and I let it distract me and went a bit wide, allowing him to close back in. I guess that was his intention, since as soon as he got to my door, he started banging. I held him off and chopped a few turns forcing him to brake or hit me. I was laughing at how we had such a heated battle for 13th place, lol....

Then he messaged me about how bad a driver I am and I should have let him by easier, I had caused him to get penalties.

Whats funny is this is likely really how he sees it, rofl.

Just got my first win ever at Nürburgring GP. I qualified second. Myself and the dude on the pole were both A/S. The entire rest of the of the field was D/S. Weirdest matchmaking ever

i had one at dragon trail where i was s/s and the other 19 guys were d/s, my qualifying time was literally 5 seconds faster than p2. it must be a glitch, it only happened to me once in 300 races though so it isnt common

I'm just part of the old Gran Turismo guard that finally made the jump to see if I still have it.

Got my answer today. Finally into S class and via a race that would be hard to believe if I put it into words. Therefore, I have proof! :D

I might be doing that with a few of my replays shortly. Have a few best laps and races saved that I need to organize first.

I am playing under username xRaveniix, good race, was wondering what happened in that last corner. Nice win.
 
I was only driving Nurburgring race B today and it was a frustration but then I remembered someone that posted recently that looking at a replay from one of the best drivers is a good way to see how your driving can improve. I watched a replay with the Atenza and saw several things I should try and shure enough I shaved off 2 seconds or more.
So I enter my next race with a quali time of 2.06.387 and I'm a B/S rated driver so the whole lobby had the same rating.
I start 3 on the grid and end 3. (Much better than the evenings 3 previous races that had me loose position after staring 12, 13 etc on the grid.

Then the next match I get grid 10 with the same time ! Now the lobby has two S/S racers in top and several A/S ahead of me. I manage to go on on 10th place.

So now my last race, I start on Pole ! Now I have B/A racers and I do a great race and win it. Great end of the night in my books ! Net result was positive gains on points !

One question, I just managed to become DRS and yesterday in Suzuka I was in a room with 14 other S/S and 6 A/S drivers. I made until now almost 300 races but the hardest room I joined until now was 1/3 DRS and others DRA. Is this expecting me from now on just because I entered DRS? Don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid of anyone, I love it to race against the top guys. But why I'm asking is, I'm thinking I need to adjust my qualifying time-philosophy maybe. Until now my aim was to get at least 1 sec close to the p10 of the final-evening leaderbord to get a well startplace, but maybe this will not be enough anymore. Yesterday I had a 2.08.6xx and the end of top ten was I think 2.07.6xx, and in that room I described I started only from p11.

I doubt it, there simply aren't enough SS. Having said that a Suzuka fia race on Saturday was a full room of 20 SS drivers. Finished 12th which I was very happy with.

It's a good feeling when you pick up on something you see and that time starts coming off.

I did manage to put up another video. A shame I didn't realize soon enough that you can save game play video clips on the PS4. The letterbox in the replay is quite annoying.

 
I did the Tokyo Expressway Outer Loop Group 3 race on Sunday afternoon and it was an absolute joke. So many people pushing and shoving each other, getting the way and just being careless, and that's not even including the hideous penalties I received. That track is an SR killer.
 
From my last night Nations Cup:



First meeting Pantera, even made it own livery, my third one "already"!

Couldn't get rid of the penalty from first corner of race - even when almost staying, counter didn't move

Though, until this Saturday, when I watched rick_bmw's top 24 stream, I didn't know that penalty can be carried over laps, even to the end of first one!

However, tires are always my problem, first you don't feel car, three laps later, you are on boat!

That's why I made to make two stupid mistakes on same place and even ruin my podium.
 
I raced in the first race of the day at Maggiore today. Managed to get pole and raced with at least half of top 10 EU guys. I even managed to win the race. So happy with that.
I doubt I can this exploit again this evening though lol.
