I just did the first race for race B before people figured out the car, and though I won, I wasn't much better with keeping the car controlled. It understeers and oversteers a lot. Good luck to anyone who wants to grind this event.

Entered A/A last night :)

Civic @ Suzuka East was nowhere near as fun as the previous Bluemoon track. Seven laps was also too much.. It's become a mindnumbing track for me. Got a pole from the second race and lead the race until I spun out at last lap

Maggiore is always lovely. Tried it with the RC F first but I was losing time in every corner to little slips. I was also the designated punching bag in the first race. Was in a good mood so it didn't matter that much.. Second race the same thing.. The third one I did in a Viper which was a little bit faster. Went up a position in the race. For the fourth one I picked Citroen GT. Did they give the car more power? I was a second faster in my first qualifying lap than I was with the Viper. I was the punching bag again.. But the 5th race was nice. Started as 4th and got quickly to third. I was pushed on the grass and got a penalty for being in the grass. Thanks. But man it was fun to chase the guy who was 2nd for almost the entire race. Finally got past him in the last corners of the race. Even though I carried the penalty to the finish line and dropped to third it felt so satisfying to pass that guy. For the first time ever I actually looked at the replay :D My Citroen was the only non-german car in that race.. BMW's and Porsches everywhere..

Too bad the Supra onemake is @ Suzuka. Not gonna drop my ratings there. Might do a few races with the Civic but it's a gf-night so we'll see..

Might see me in Gr. 4 Interlagos later... if I manage to get online :( Entered an anime contest so I also gotta get myself up to speed with the current season (I've shelved them ever since I got GTS )

Spent another 1 hour 40 qualifying on Maggiore last night, only managing a 1:56.8 which I was disappointed with. Had to just go with it though as the 20.40 race was approaching. Expecting, as per my last two Sport Mode races, to be starting nearly last as I was over 2 seconds off the top 10, I was surprised to be given a respectable starting position of 8th - at least I have a chance of finishing top half :). T1 went fine, except for getting nudged from behind and bouncing into the guy in front (2 second penalty). Gained 2 places to 6th from people who took 2 too wide, over the rest of the race I gained another 3 positions up to 3rd. A fairly uneventful race, but consistency clearly paid off. Unfortunately the 2 second penalty means I lost 2 positions over the finish line to finish 5th. If I had known that my time was good enough for 8th on the grid, I'd have done more races but I felt I could get more as my optimal was 1:56.4ish. Annoyed that I didn't enter earlier though as the race was good... I just didn't want to be grid filler for the top guys again and lose DR along with my self respect

Anyway... DR up for the night and beat my PB on Maggiore by over 2 seconds though so can't complain. After the race, jumped on for a bit more qualifying, beat my 1:56.8 on the first lap with a 1:56.742 and after another 4 or 5 laps (despite not bettering my time) my optimal was 1:56.072 :banghead:. So annoying that I couldn't put it all together!

Group 4 Interlagos tonight :) must spend less time qualifying and more time racing!

What car did you use @Robben ?
Lexus, as always :)

But I tried laps in M6 and 911 as well. Just don't have the "feel" for them as I do with the Lexus, although driving the Porsche felt much quicker and actually a bit easier to corner, I just don't know it well enough (any more).

The main frustration for me is coming out of T2, I can feel the car just sitting waiting for TCS to drop and for the power to come on... I can't do it with not TCS though, I just spin :(

Edit: as for Interlagos.... my previous best in group 4 is 1:39.256 which is only good enough for 9%. Given I managed to go from about 9% to 1.9% in group 3 on the weekend, top 2% is the target for tonight.

That's a pretty good time with the Lexus. I couldn't get under 1:58 with it. I guess you gotta be very precise with it.

I guess it's because it is my 'go to' now so I know it better than the others :).

Funny thought to always be in grids that read something like 911, 911, M6, M6, M6, M6, 911, 911, RC-F, 911, 911, 911, M6

Thats a samsung galaxy/iphone grid with a sony xperia thrown in. I am the xperia type guy like you, usingva different type of car.

The Lexus behaved very weird yesterday imho, but maybe that was caused by me coming out of the kart... My Q-time was ****, started P16 and finished P9, the day lost me 900 DR points as the kart race saw a bad result for me, too :scared:

I found, in the end, that I was better with CSA off. I think when used in combination with TCS, it actually sucks even more power.

Go on then... what was your 'scheiss' qualifying time?

I kissed the wall at the exit Turn 13 and had a 1:58.2 or something. I can‘t check as Jason‘s page hasn‘t updated yet and there is a 1:57.1 saved as the best time from February.

I didn‘t bother doing anything else then and just joined @rallymorten racing the Hotring Sabre in GTA :D

anybody played Interlagos Race C yet? Is it still possible to short shift the BMW for that amount of laps?

No but its lightened and powered up so it goes pretty good.

Coool! :))))

Is this the car?

It can reach 640 HP!! ???? Can we get that power on this race?? And minimum weight 1300kg...?? (I think not... at least I see on GT Sports statistics site this race as a N300 class race)

Terrible time at Maggiore yesterday. Three races in a row I got wrecked. Dirty driving at the a/s level.

I finished last every race and once again am in danger of falling out of Dr A. Glad to see lagos is a daily, as that should save me. Unfortunately , I won't be able to play until this evening.

Ouch :(

Got my S/R killed again today, was blocked all over in Race A and got mad tried to knock the main offender off, oops now as down with the E rank drivers. Started Race C 3rd on the grid got up to first after 1 lap and then it disconnected me, even more S/R gone!!!

In race C the Atenza and Lambo seem to be the main contenders, i think the Huracan seems a little better on its tires.

Interlagos was a disaster  didn't expect Gr. 4 to be so much more rowdy than Gr. 3
So many dive bombers aGH

I raced five times. I started on pole in the second race and was having a great time leading the pack for a short while. Made a couple of small mistakes and P2 caught up with me. At the downhill curve, he punted me so hard I hit the wall and bounced almost all the way back to the track, but not facing the right way. The game decided I could drive myself out of there and it took forever. First to last in a four lap race; un-fun.

Other than that, the races weren't too bad. I received a few penalties, but I deserved them. Wound up with a net increase in DR, but it took all five races to do that.

I'm not the fastest at Maggiore anyway. I think my Dr is inflated due to the amount of Lagos daily races lately. I always do well there. Once again, I'll shoot my Dr up today, and then I'll be overmatched at the rest of the tracks lol

@Robben Glad to see someone like you set yourself a target on a specific track.

I alse target to break my previous barrier at 1:38:3xx. Studied again the top star replay again today before my run. Finally, just do it 1:37:912. First time see my name on regional table, though, maybe a very short time. Never that close to the star. Very happy.:gtpflag:

Yep it takes some doing but it's possible. I've just won from13th on the grid.
