I wondered why you were in the slow group at the back end of the race near me last night. I got the side slam into the last turn as the wide open track there seems to invite that. There were most people through turn 1 lap 1 in my 2 races but after that first turn it became carnage. God help you if a car gets on the inside as they simply push you off on exit most of the time. The fresh tires vs worn battle in the last section doesnt help either. Saw many ghosted cars there. I love the race but do not do well there at all.

@benjoi84 will have a few random runs tonight and see which does what

Yeah that last corner is full of drama. Go a fraction wide onto the Astro turf and you’ll spin. Anyone going up the inside of that corner is a goose. They are just going to get eaten on the straight after sacrificing the exit speed for the overtake. Anyway....

I decided not to spit my dummy and bunker down to regain my DR.

First to get a half decent qual time. 1:30.1....that’ll do.

Started in a DR A lobby two seconds ahead of P2 in qual time. Praying to the gods I don’t get punted on T1. To be fair it was a clean race.

So did a few races in a row. Won 4 on the trot for a total DR gain of about 800 points. Ffs....

The last race of the night had a couple A+ drivers in there which is where most of that 800 DR came from.

Be back in the farm again today.

This is why I’ve been avoiding racing the dailies on the account I care about...this guy by DR should have plenty of pace and not need to do stupid stuff like this. I’m not sure how I could have tried to avoid him any further.
I just raced against that guy. I accidentally nudged him at the chicane on lap one and he proceeded to target me the entire race. Because he only received a total of two seconds in penalties, he finished fifth.

He proceeded to hit me once more at the same corner, and once at the first corner. People need their emotions checked....

EDIT: He called me a "clown" post race and he received a SR demotion.

Hah! I was focused on the guy in blue. Now that I see your guy in action, maybe the guy who knocked me off was heated because he got punted through that first turn by your guy.

I think I was in the race you saved there -- I got caught up in middle of the pack BS and ended up taking a penalty after getting sandwiched coming back up to the front straight. Ended up finishing 9th I think.

Looking back at the footage, you were not in this race. I do see a few faces I have raced with though that are very good. :)👍

Had a ton of fun with the kart daily at Tsukuba.
Thanks to this race I was able to realize that the Logitech G29 is indeed a good wheel.
Force feedback was tight thanks to the lack of power steering on karts, and I was able to feel every kerb on the track and the danger of going over them.

Only 2 races so far this week. Both B races in the Alfa (again). I guess Im going to have to keep a "punt on sight" list. Started on pole in both races, punted on the first lap in both races. Ended up around last place and 5 seconds down on the guy in front of me both times. If I wanted to start from the back, I would have, and I can almost guarantee I wouldn't be last going into the second lap like I was in both these races from pole. I guess being in an SR 99 room doesn't mean much anymore. Have to give Fuji a shot tomorrow.

I’ve wanted to smash my tv before at Gardens several times.
You know I ran a bunch no qual today (no non essential trips). The Mustang is pretty good but by far most fun was the Megane.
The power...It’s nice to have the power, and tcs mitigates some of the problems with fwd. Great brakes and actually turns pretty good if you have educated delicate throttle input.
I was laughing pulling out on trophy’s Alfa’s and Evos in draft and stealing their inside, plus it has the brakes to make the move stick, it’s weakness is the sweeping right but if you don’t give up the inside on entry you’re good, even if a trophy slips by they’re dead on the straight unless drafting a power car.
It’s a fun challenge to try to harness the fwd with power vs pure rwd handling.

Done a few laps and managed to get a 55.69 in the kart. ABS off, BB +3, TC 2. Accelerate early from the corner to rotate the kart and exit quickly.

Good fun but the slipstream is way too strong. Kart behind will gain 7 10ths on the long corner/straight into turn 1.

Also finding it damn tough to get it under control when in a pack - apologies for any accidental punts I give to any of you .

I've had a few fun races in A but I am a full second behind your lap times , the best I can do is 56:7 , I only use my DS4 controller is this now all that's slowing me down , will a wheel setup improve my times ?

As a rule, I hate fwd and usually avoid them. I have to admit, though, that they do have their place. They are infinitely forgiving, so if on a revenge mission, they can't be beat. Curbs, dirt, grass...nothing is beyond saving. They're even almost impossible to pit (manuver) with a good driver. Just the opposite of the 4C. I've spun that thing on curbs, or touching the grass, more times than I can count. Doesn't do well at bumper cars either. I guess thats one reason I hate fwd. Seems a lot of people that drive them often are the same people that divebomb, punt and try to wreck everyone, because they do excell at that.:ouch:

I use the controller bud and got it down to a 55.52. Accelerate early in the corners for high exit speed and good rotation. Never a bad option to pick a top ten time and watch, then race their ghost.

Just waiting for the quali alien TRL ADAM to post a sub 55.

I was nothing but courteous for six straight races. I got bumped off in two of them, by the same wild player. I didn't take it personal.

I go into the next race. And the dang different Lancer that messed up, Knicks me off. I serve it back with a bang.

Then, I'm nice to a Lancer in front of me. It's slower than me in the Megane, but I'm b ING easy. A Huaracan comes into the picture and bumps me off at The Four Brothers. I just go full speed into the final turn. It's just ridiculous.

Using the Lancer now.

After having my DR sucker punched last week - from 15xxx to 7000 - on 2 of my favorite tracks, this week is the week for redemption.

I love the Karts in Tsukuba. Ran a few races using TCS 0, but spun out while defending. Will switch to TCS 2 today and try.

Race B is fun. I am using the WRX here, and it kicks some butt. While this is a Megane fest, you can easily stay with them and get them on the corners where they will make mistakes, or miss apex's.

Does a move count as a divebomb if you didn't mean to go for it and the other guy just brakes earlier than expected? This has happened a surprising number of times on race C so far this week.

I’ve had that happen to me this week, too, especially at T1.

I’ve had the opposite thing happen for the chicane, too. I brake pretty early to get a run on the second corner of the chicane, and I’ve been dive bombed there pretty much every lap it feels like. Really easy for people to shove you around with little consequences there.

That chicane is where I've made quite a lot of moves on people braking early.

Yeah -- it's a classic hotlapping vs. racing mistake. My lap time is faster when I do that, but if I get knocked out of the way instead, the lap time certainly isn't faster, is it! I'd be better off driving more defensively.

I wont touch the kart, but i finally got some track time yesterday at gardens. Did a bunch of laps in the wrx and couldn't get under a 39. Switched to the stang and almost imidiatly hit a 38.7xx I feel like i can hit a low 38 at least with that car. Will be trying when i get home later.

People always get so cranky when you're better at being dirty than them.

Had an issue just in race C on an account I usually save for friends. End of L12 I'm right behind a German, he moves around to break the tow, I follow, then move towards the inside before I hit him up the back. He shoots across in front of me, gets a bump forward, I pick up the tow again, he moves to the inside so now I go on the outside of him but pin him tight to the inside, as we're approaching the braking zone he drives into me three times to try to get further to the left, overshoots the corner, I - after initially thinking I might have to hang it around the outside - realise this and overslow to get the cut back, I get almost a full car ahead and just gradually run him out of room on the exit, he kept his foot in on the grass and around he went. Post race, he thanked me for spinning him! I replied that if he could drive in a straight line down the straight he wouldn't have had a problem in the first place

Been having some excellent races ...... .. for 13th and 14th though unfortunately. I just don't have the pace at gardens to race at the front with S/B drivers, I am missing about a second per lap and I just cannot find it. Qualied mid 39, optimum of low 39 ..... like I said, missing a second i reakon.
