As I said earlier. Decided to view it from his perspective to see if something happened that could explain his driving. But no. Just a dirty driver.

I just want to highlight that that guy is absolutely filthy. His KudosPrime DR and SR graph look like rollercoasters.

Other people in the FIA thread have complained about his antics (Start reading from post #3010 onwards).

Just had 2 decent sort of races in race C. Took the scirocco out and had an absolute stinking race with a driver in the M4. Several laps switching up positions and going at it side by side when safe. Only ruined by me getting a wheel on the dirt end of lap 14 and dropping from p8 to p17. They even apologized thinking they touched me, but it was all my own driving so all good there.

Next race was me in the middle of a strip club. 1 porsche, then nothing but TTs everywhere else near me. I dont think it is on purpose, but it seems like near the end of the week TT drivers forget how much their car understeers on exit and it becomes a gamble to battle them if they get the slightest nose inside. Most seemed to be pretty good, but there were a couple that were quite happy to push tour wheels on the dirt. Claiming you turned in and forgetting they have an FF car with wasted tires. All in all an ok night. Good to race with some solid drivers but just not able to bring home any real results.

Now to figure out next week as I suck at all 3 tracks.:dunce:
 
Fantastic. Race C. I get a three second penalty for getting t-boned by someone who went off the right, up over the hill in the dirt, then back on, into me, at the top of the hill. Shouldn't he have been ghosted? Between that and another who's perfected the art of coming over and unnecessarily laying against a car in a sweeping corner to give the outside car a contact penalty, SR down 9 for the race. I know not much compared to others, but SR is the only thing I have to take pride in.

Sometimes I have to wonder why I bother.

Thought he'd taken a personal dislike to me and @crusselz - looks like he treats everybody the same!
 
I caved in and race

Was going to say & raced the TT at Willow as i was getting hammered in the DBR9, still getting mediocre results though. Back at Suzuka I've managed 6 wins this week taking my grand total to 25 wins since the game was released, quite happy with that. I'm on holiday in the lake district and the the internet isn't great plus I'm using wifi to connect so the other cars appear to jump around, guess it's me doing the jumping & they are all fine.

Sounds like my luck at Suzuka from 2 weeks ago.
 
Really looking forward to Bathurst and the Nordschleife next week. What do people reckon will be the go to cars for the Nordschleife? I'm thinking V8 Vantage or the Jaguar F-Type?

I use wifi, and just found out this morning in a league race that I jump around. I don't notice a thing. I've tested the connection, ping, and lag and they all test fine. But I hate the thought that I'm a blinker.
 
That guy has an equally dirty North American account that he used to plague the last 1/4 of the FIAs recently. Same name (minus the dash), same crazy KP profile, same terrible behaviour. Quite disgusting.

oddly enough, he is capable of racing cleanly and he occasionally has great pace on his stronger combos. there are plenty of us in the top few splits that have had good, clean races against him....and we've also seen him wreck several people in a single move, many, many times. whatever you do, just don't be the one to make contact with him because it will be your fault in his eyes and he will 100% revenge punt you even if it was actually his fault.
 
Enjoyed both Race A at Suzuka and Race B at Willow quite a bit this week.

Did not partake in Race B at Red Bull Ring… hasn’t been a happy place for me in this game, though I have great memories of it in real life but it’s been a house of horrors for me in GTS.

I did put in my QT though, and because I know the Aston is currently META there, had to make good with it. But boy, that car is difficult to drive: total opposite compared to the Porsche I usually race, in terms of how you manage the front and rear ends. And the way the front end is so darty while the rear is so hard to keep under control, god help you guys that like driving it (@afc5150 good luck in the FIA season!).

Scrapped my way to my K’ target and called it a session.

but the other two races were really fun and competitive, and mostly avoided trouble this week. Looking forward to the ‘Ring this week.

Bathurst should be good value. One stop or no stop?

Kosmo you have trouble with the Aston? It's one of the most stable Group 3 cars, just point it and hit the gas.

The way it responds both with throttle inputs and steering it is almost the exact opposite of the Porsche. I just can’t flip my brain to get ahead of the Aston V12. Rear end out before I am ready to catch it, or I oversteer on the front end. I guess it’s just a personal style thing. I can see how it would be fast, but I was more comfortable adapting to the Viper at RBR. Key to that car: coast a lot, and don’t overthink it! I struggle at that track in any car, I just can’t find the limits without feeling it. Maybe overcomplicating it, but I so much better in the fast sweepers like at Suzuka and Big Willow.

He’s one of those guys that will either win or try to destroy anyone if they beat him. All about win numbers. I guess that’s the kind view. He is otherwise not right in the head. But as you said, he’s not slow at all, and can compete on merit when he tries.

Viper because.. well its a Viper.
 
Kosmo we are total opposites. Cannot warm to the viper and cannot run a decent lap at willow or Suzuki. I am a beast at rbr.
 
No wins this week. Didn't get a lot of seat time. Managed a couple of P2 finishes at Suzuka on my main account. Still holding on to that A rating. Finished the week with a couple races at RBR from the back, then qualified in my last race (1:30.6) to start 4th. Good, hard fought and relatively clean up front. Managed a P2 finish with FL and CRB, so I ended well. I suck at the mountain, so any races there will be from the back. I usually do well at Tokyo, and if it's a RWD car, I might actually be fast there. The nord with gr4 should be a hoot, so I'm sure I'll race there, probably with both accounts. Looks to be a good week in my book!
 
I like Nords but I hope I can qualify well so I can be ahead of the mayhem through Schwedenkreuz and Ardenauer Forst. In my experience people don't handle those sections well :D
 
Don't think I've ever run at Nord, in Gr.4. Don't know if the FFs will have the legs at the end of the lap. Cayman, RC F, The British Bulldogs, Okayron, NSX, 458 and 650S, should have good top end.
Supra has a high top speed.

How are Viper and C7 for top end?
 
@05XR8 Viper seems to be doing well, but lots of TTs in the fields. Currently hemorrhaging DR as I keep getting dropped into A and A+ lobbies as cannon fodder. Oh well. Lots of time to learn the track anyway.

And 1 penalty for, say, someone swerving to block you at the last second when they are slower because they have made a mistake will drop you at least 2 SR.

Well, if the TT is doing good, the Megane should have it on speed. Might try a race.

I have the trophy a go, not the regular megane, but I was all over the place. Had a solid feel in most places, but good lord it got dropped on the straight bits. I think you regular Megane will be able to fix that issue.

Oh FFS:banghead:. Had 1 solid B lobby where I was able to race a bit, and now back to being one of the couple token Bs in the A+ lobby. Doh.:crazy:
 
Even in EMEA it has been mixed lobbies this morning. An A+, a few A's, some B, some C. Even saw a single D. And it's not as if the A+ and A always are the fastest in the lobbies.
Some proper quick ring specialists out today.
I'm doing .22 and that was good enough for 3-4 but as the day progresses it will maybe give me a 10 as a starting position.
Edit: since the rear is filled with no-qual racers as always on the ring
