Searching their PSN ID didn't turn up anything here.

This is the second time someone someone has accused me of cheating, specifically in relation to grip/tyre wear. Although this person specifically accused me of using a "pc program."

Yes and something about Sony, either reporting you or accusing you of working for them which allowed you to cheat.

Next time just tell them you used the grip hack, since they'll believe that anyway regardless. :mischievous:

I had one unfortunate race this morning where I made a pretty big mistake on Lap 1, and was pushed off the circuit three times while trying to work my way back through the pack. I let the frustration get to me and got a revenge punt in before quitting.

Needless to say, my SR dropped down to B, so I started the next two races on pole and won handily. Keep in mind that I'm normally rated A/S and my average (race) lap-time in Daily Race C is around 1:34.1. In those two races at the lower level, no one was getting close to that time or even driving with the same consistency.

So after the second race, the driver who finished P2–26 seconds behind me–said the following. I didn't have time to translate it before responding so I could only assume what they were saying exactly. I think it's more fun if you read it first without translating it and try to guess what they're were on about:

"es imposible ese ritmo"

"What?"

"ya te a denuncio a Sony"

"por usar programa de pc antidesgaste de tires"

"susioooooo tramposo"

"I only used hard"

This is a normal pace in the higher lobbies"

"yo cambie tires en pits y me siguias aumentando diferencia"
Definitely better to get out front and get gone in Race C. Completely clean passes are tough to pull off when people try slamming the door they left wide open by running wide on several turns.

I’ve been building up an alt (B/S from C/A so far) and had some good battles in the top 5, but things get spread out by the end. Logged in last night with my main, ZiggyStardust80 (A/S), to see how things were in the top split. I have to agree with your assessment on pace difference, mainly cause you were in the race to prove it.

I finished P4 way back from you. I was very impressed by that blazing FL time. I saved the replay. I don’t know what a grip hack looks like, but I know what fast looks like. Good job! I hope to see you out there again this week. It’s a challenging but fun combo

He got a great pass on you. You got one back. Then I think he decided it was game on. Went for it early, probably confident on that turn again. Got too much grass.

Good competitive racing. You deserved to finish ahead in my opinion.
Thanks for taking the time to watch it. I thought it was a great race, up to that turn where I was actually trying to give him space on the outside (I did use a defensive line all the way to it,and had used my moves I felt so wanted to give him space, believing I still could get a better run towards the end) but then he hit me a couple of times and that unfortunately made.my braking distance longer do it pretty much closed the door for him
Then I think frustration got the better of him and he ran into the fence after the turn.

But, and there is a but, he did make contact with at least four other cars beside mine. I constantly saw him trying to run the hot-lap lines. In traffic.

But, that being said, race A is dun-fun-fun this week!

Here is the movie:
You be the judge. I did turn in on him once on lap 2,missed he came up, bit reversed as soon as I noticed he was there.

I hate the pass he made early where he was behind you then LEPT into the gap as you were just about t turn in. Not a popular view but I say 100pc his fault there. Later in the race he tries a pass on the same corner on the outside, oddly he flinches real early and hits you by mistake which contributes to you running a bit wide but you probably should have left a bit more space. TBH though, that first lap chuck up the inside, if someone does that i reserve the right to push them a bit wide a alp or two later.

If I may, a tip. You're losing SCADS of time ont he second last left hander. Take the right hander a bit slower but hug the right guard rail, brake a bit early and punch the car hard through the left hander. Your sort of takin the middle of the road and taking eons to get on the gas. When you do this as I suggest you need to adjust your braking point into the tight left to just before the ripple strip.

Thank you! I really enjoy the Gr.1 races, the challenge of keeping those cars under control for twenty minutes is a lot of fun, and Autopolis is very punishing when you can't do that.

I don't know where I pulled the 1:33.550 from and I was at least semi-drunk at the time :boggled: the closest I've come to that is 0.2 seconds slower.

Thanks! Tips are always welcome! Will try to do so!

Yes, I probably should have left him more room... But frankly I thought he was trying to fake me, so he could undercut me. That's what I would do.

...I tried qualifying again, but with traction control at zero, and I managed a 1:33.6! Actually can't feel much difference in driveability between TC at 0 or 2, but I do find it quicker. Might be a different story in a race with worn tyres though.

TSO50 is front wheel drive which makes it much easier to handle compared to most other Gr.1 cars.

Well i was simply racing , not even sure how i managed it but I’ll take it

Finished Top 140 in Nations. Congrats dude. I put mine back on today.

Got disconnected twice now my SR is bleeding

I had this happen earlier today. Lost 10 SR as a result. I re-started my PS4 and didn't have issues after, but I don't know whether it actually fixed something or if it was coincidental.

In other news, I grinded a bit at Race B this week, and I crossed the 40K DR mark for the first time. Right under 42K, and I think it's time for me to put my account to bed until FIA starts the next time. As it is, I can't wait for the ass whoopings that are coming at that level for me.

The races were really clean for the most part. No big issues. I chased the #1 time in NA around the track for real for a few races today. I feel that the 2.5 second gap they beat me by each time is respectable on my behalf, lol. They were running 26s in the race after all.

top 140 , never realized that was the case ,

I guess that was the issue because i tried restarting too after getting disconnected before the match twice , no issues afterwards but the lobby was a joke , only two AS drivers then the rest were D/S

Race C this week is so much fun, if you can get through the 1st lap carnage then it is also a pretty clean race am settled in at B/S now and have had some great close racing.

Not many overtaking opportunities is the only thing that lets it down, but there enough mistakes being made that by staying on track I find you gain places.

I've found myself leading a few races after the first lap. 8th to 1st by turn 3 was the best, but I've always been caught by lap 9 or 10 as I seem to wreck my front tyres (I use motion control and maybe I'm a bit heavy-fingered on the brakes and throttle?) I seem to lose most time in the last 4 corners, then pull away on the first half.

I have found on a DS4 controller that my front tyres are going in the last 2 laps, but agree, I have made 5 or 6 places a few times in the 1st lap.

How fast are you in the race and what sort of laps times are others doing?

From the few races I've done I feel a bit off but maybe it's just this track I think and the dirty air too.

Not that it matters much as I'm running on my new USA account for now.

Hi! To be honest I dont remember:) Yesterday my pace was dramaticly slow... I jumped into FP to warm up a bit, and I couldnt set a time below 1.33... Again I was matched with some A+ aliens so started 8, finished last... Partly because of my slow pace, partly because of some swedish idiot, he pushed me off track 2 times in two races... I dont know what happend, they changed physics in tuesday?

As the week has rolled on I have been increasingly disappointed by the racing. Race A is an SR wreck, Race B is a FF festival with very little genuine racing and Race C is ruined by the effects of dirty air and limited legitimate overtaking opportunities. I’m looking forward to a better set next week, but PD really need to test their dailies much more thoroughly.

TTs from P1- P15. P7 & P16 were Sciroccos. I'm staying with the Megane. Moved up from 5th(my qualy is a 1:27.758) to 3rd. Had a TT behind me and I pull away, even with it in my slipstream.

Needed a few more laps to catch P2. Was reeling it in, on laps 4 & 6. Good stuff.

Race C would be much better by small change, mediums allowed, hards mandatory...

This

Or increasing the tyrewear multiplier to make a stop vs no-stop strat line ball.

Or this.

Or change the track to Spa.

Or change the cars to Gr.3.

Or various other things too.

Instead we are stuck with this combo, where you can go from 16th to 4th in one lap (1st lap) and spend the next 11 laps waiting for cars to fall off the track to finish 2nd behind the car you have followed all race long without being able to get near enough to even attempt a pass.

Loads of respect to the DS4 users keeping it on track and staying competitive in Race C. Those are some fine motor skills! So many turns that rely on throttle control and brake feathering and precise steering inputs. I’m usually breaking a sweat by the end on wheel and pedal.

Respect!

Fun daily race from the other week, I actually survived what's in the thumbnail.. somehow haha!

Flexible barriers there at DTS for sure! (outside of the COD running the other direction...) (managed a podium finish in this FIA race despite it!)

I'm definitely breaking a sweat too and my left hand gets sore. Just managed an awesome race against two B drivers, I dropped to third but stayed on track and lapped consistent 1:35s at the start and 1:36 by the end. In about 10 races I don't think I've overtaken more than 2 people - just relying on people running off.

Those using DS4, drop your sensitivity to 0, assuming you normally run it at 7 like I do. The GT3 really is beautiful to drive.

Tried this and gone about 1.5s faster, and able to stay pointing the right way.
