Any idea what the N100 will be? Something like the MX5 would be OK, but some cars won't do well at the corkscrew....mind you it'll be a pile up at the 2nd corner, by the time they get to the corkscrew it'll be the usual mosh pit.

I think that’ll easily be the car to run. Though I’m tempted to bring the Sambabus out and give it a go if BOP is right.

Click "sport" and when the screen for selecting dailies or FIA is up the checker is top left.

EDIT: that's it too many ninjas about :grumpy:
It's in the "races" tap, above the dailies, a button labelled "check network connection".

Thank you. Thank you.

Man, I hunted around for that and even googled "five pointed pentagon stars"... you would not believe what is on the internet... <I saved those for later>.

Sport | Race Entry | Test Connection Quality (upper left under Race Entry)

As a side note it states "The test feature cannot... try again later."
Will do that.

I don't care about DR or SR now, if I ever meet this 🤬 again he is not finishing the race. I've met him once before and it was exactly the same...

I feel you.

They're killin' me. Even when I slow up, those cars are too slow. The race after this one, is worse, with a GT hitting the wall and nowhere for me to go, I side bump it and I get 3 seconds.

Man that is BRUTAL. HOW does he keep hitting you and avoiding penalties, like how?

And you are ridiculously smooth, the car doesn't seem to pitch hard when you change direction.

New races are posted
C: Alsace Village - Gr.1 (Provided Car :odd:)

Nismo FF Gr. 1

Looking to next week, has to be seaside for me and I feel we did this recently. Wasn't the Jag able to keep the FF brigade at bay?

If I remember correctly, the Gallardo is pretty popular there. Obviously, run what you feel most comfortable with. Power/speed is nothing without control.

No doubt about the qualy time. That's the purpose of the META. I'm all about the race pace. Not just the one lap. 👍

I mean, if you can set a blistering QT & then wave goodbye to everyone, then why not?

At least it's another week without Tsukuba. 👍

Or Suzuka.

Yikes. That is some nasty behavior. The Real You-Shall-Not-Pass Simulator. :irked:

The Lambo was neutered many moons ago, a shame.

Some people must not have gotten the message. I could have sworn that I saw my fair share of them last time.

OK so not a Lambo, I refuse to go with the flow. I'm really liking my GT-R just now so I'll try that first.

Got Lando a win at Tokyo

I'll be driving this and I don't care what you think. I'll get Sainz a win next

The races next week are shocking. PD are handing out some DR resets for Christmas. 🤬

:gtplanet::cheers:
You don't need to play them and you can usually find one that suits you. Just don't drink and drive.

This may not be the correct place to ask, but is there a way to choose which server one races on? I would love to run some races against European drivers.

Wrong place, general discussions would be better. Anyway, you need to set up another PS account with a European address, super easy barely an inconvenience.

The amount of times I’ve exclaimed "WHAT?!?!?!" today on Tokyo Expressway is a number I can no longer remember. Ridiculous penalties. DR reset from 58 to 40,000 now as well. Ugh, do I even bother to keep trying tonight? Maybe I should just turn off and play something else.

Race B has calmed down so much. I stayed with the RX-V and I guess since I've been starting no lower than 5th, been able to harrass the F1s.

On always passes me at the start, by once we navigate the toll plaza, they're mine all the way to the final turn.

Got a win due to an F1 with a 1.5s wall penalty. Got the lead at Lap2 and I checked out.

My last race for the night, started 4th, finished 3rd. Couldn't catch P2, due to being held up by an ambitious penalty wearing Viper, early on. The key is to staying right, once out of the toll plaza. Anyway, Viper tried to pass me on the outside of the crossover offramp T3. That'll never work.

That allowed the leader to stay about 3-4 seconds out of reach and enough for P2 to use F1s acceleration, to keep me out of the draft.
Was catching P2 on the last lap, but not enough at the line. Finished 3 seconds behind the leader. Lost FL to P2.

For all the carnage early on, kind of glad players jumped on the F1 band wagon. Freed me up to know what to expect. Nice to see a train of about six F1s behind my rotary, each race. ;)

Got 4 penalties in Race B. The ones from the Wack Arnold's F1s are killing me. They can't handle. Someone goes into the walls, bounces into me and I get 3 seconds. Twice!
1 second for a tap on a hard braking in the esses Ford GT and another 1.5 seconds for contact from a spinning F1 and Ford GT at T1. Surprised I'm still at A/S.

Edit: Down to A/A. The F1s are garbage. Even in capable hands, the car itself is garbage. Doesn't matter how fast a qualy time anyone can set in one. Put a corner in front of it and it's garbage.

F1 may have the worst brakes in gr3 and it just doesn't like to slide.
Don't hate the car, hate the driver...
Maybe we should race dude. :)

When I drove the F1 It felt like I was driving a different class of car compared to the Ford GT. Very heavy steering. I won't win without one, though.

Tokyo East is easily the best PD track layout in the game - if only it wasn't for the walls on every corner. If it had run-off areas so you're not sampling the terrible collision physics and penalty system when someone hits the wall in front of you and shoots in a random direction, that'd be great.

Like I said, even in capable hands(a couple A & A+ drivers) the car is garbage.

@ShiftingGears just saw your post. I love the F1. It's a cool car. I've used it plenty. Used it at Sardegna. TThat's a tough track to drive it, but at Tokyo, that thing has to be slowed so much.

It's that classification problem. It ain't a modern downforce GT3 car, as we all know it's not. However, some just see the win. Not too much racing sensibly with it. Not saying people shouldn't use what they want. That's why it's in the game... to choose. However, the rate at which I'm catching them in the meat of the circuit, I'm not losing much on the straight, as I can can stay with it. It's a hazard. Pretty much...
I think you pointed out early on, the RX-V is fast in a straight line too. It just doesn't have the torque. The Ford GT looks a bit better in cornering speed. Still, for this track, I'd pick something else that's not so much of a handling compromise... in race pace.
