You made up a lot more time at the end than I was comfortable with.I just did a C race to score some SR points. I started 17th in the Mustang. I did 9M/4S.
I ended up in 9th, right behind @O604.
Obviously, I encountered a bunch of cars along the way. I didn't really notice any other cars that seemed to outperform mine.
I sure isn't isn't the best possible car, but I have no complaints.
I got my 18 points, even though there were 2 minor contacts. 👍
2 reasons for that:You made up a lot more time at the end than I was comfortable with.![]()
Can confirm. The Mustang does not like to turnI sure isn't isn't the best possible car, but I have no complaints.
I tried the 4C and although it's hard on the tyres it's fairly stable till they start to go, definitely worth a go especially if your tyre friendly, Doing 7M/6S and running my fastest races with it although the Beetle has still had the best lap it's no as consistent for me.
I hear that a lot. I have driven it for two FIA seasons and while I am slow I can hold my own with it in my DR class. I run it with BB 2 or 3 if there is really high tire wear. And that makes it rotate just fine. Too bad that PD decided to neuter it on the last bopCan confirm. The Mustang does not like to turn![]()

I have always had good luck with the LEXUS GR3 the prototype seems a bit more stable but the regular one seems to exit better tried the Hyundai but ehhh.... rcz for me always seems like it wants to swap endsYes if anything the Hyundai seems the most populous car, odd given it is not great in a straight line. It is extremely stable but I just find it has a touch too much understeer at Interlagos through sector 2.
The softs are definitely quicker for the first 2 laps, hand down. But the medium hangs with it laps 3 through 6. Both are as bad as each other after that imho.
Will try the stang, a favourite of mine, but lately it always seems to be the 3rd or 4th fastest car for me.
Just looked at the tyre wear. The P1 GT-R and P3 NSX, were way better than the RX-V.I think the driver is a much bigger factor than the car.
Consider that one of the least used makes in Gr.3 & Gr.4 (Subaru) just won the FIA Manufacturer Championship, because the team driving it was made up of 3 of the world's GTS experts.
If you put someone who sucks in the best car, I'm not gonna like his odds.![]()
I've seen a couple in races. At the back though. It's still got about 600BHP. However, it doesn't have the top speed that some players seem to want, over everything else - thanks to the Vantage.Next week gr2 seaside oh YA.
I’m surprised that no one has hopped in an Atenza yet at Interlagos. Last time it was better than Hyundai.
Was the Mazda recently nerfed or what?
Insane in the Chicane
I'd be fine with the JDM N300 choices or the 911 Turbo(930) '81. Might be the E46 M3. HAven't seen that in a while.Next week's races
Race A Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Infield A N300
Race A may be fun too. Wonder what the car is...

Just gave it a lash in 2 races, its really pretty dang good, better than I expected. Probably my preferred car right now though had no time for qualy so not sure if I can beat my 1.30.4 in the genesis.Next week gr2 seaside oh YA.

This was my second daily "week" with N24/Nordschleife... I was looking forward to it... getting ready... it was going to be Gr 4... my thing... doing a few trial laps on Sunday... rubbing my hands... then Monday....
Who turned out the ****ing lights!?!
Sigh! Always a new challenge.
Overall the week was good but that track punishes every mistake. The crowned road invites you in, but, BAMM if you miss. My comfort level is now much higher and I can anticipate every corner of the track.
My achilles was the slight left 5th gear kink at Metzesfeld. It is inexcusable to go off there as there is so little to gain but stubborn pride. I kept trying just a slight lift and it worked 80% of the time which means it failed... hmmm... too many times!! That corner requires a more conservative approach... give up a tenth and stay on the track.
I'm digging Race C. That 10yo AMG, still has life in it.
Was really excited for Race A this week, but Tokyo has quickly tanked my SR from S to B in a matter of 3 races.
Folks with SR S were really clean though, I just made some silly mistakes, so its really on me.
Will need to cruise around on Race C for a while.
