I said, just move over at the start and come down, then we can race through traffic together!
Brilliant again ! Sven one thing. Just to make sure, but I really like your style in case you always thought I was being sarcastic. I’m a real “fan” of you (as much as you can be a fan with these kind of things of course).

I've even done a 95% replica of the Hoonigan "poo" car on the M4, it's great to just drive the car with the livery on, and it being this much fun is the best!
You got a picture of that ? And a great enthusiastic post man, like that a lot !

One of these things is not like the others...

Just brilliant :D

I finished 15th, beat the Corvette that had to pit as well and the other Raptor.

How can anyone not be a fan of you

Sarthe was great fun, first messing around and drop to DR.B, then getting a bit more serious to win 2 races and get back into DR.A

Some speed tests at first to pick a car
17Rc.jpg

Miura P400 Bartone, top speed 309 kph
Shelby Cobra, top speed 292 kph
Ford GT40, top speed 311 kph

So I tried the Countach first, cause why not
37Rc.jpg

Countach did not fare well, fun but not in time to the finish line. I did beat the other Countach, there's that....
The Miura went a little better, however I got screwed with penalties and dropped to SR.80 for hitting a car that was looking for a parking spot.
So I switched to the GT40, at SR 80, easy to make up 12 places to finish 4th.
Back to the fast room I managed to finish 11th and then 8th.

It was time for a break so I back out of the sport section and get my daily gift car, an F40! Ok, I'll take the hint, join the F40 crowd.
My first race I crossed the line in 3rd from the back yet got screwed with penalties again (got hit by a car that got punted and got the penalty for it) and dropped to 8th at the finish line (I didn't stop for the penalties)
The next race I was in 5th at the end of lap 2 and got promptly disconnected, grrr.
So with nothing else to do I qualified with a 4:04 something and not to go for an easy win I took the Raptor for a spin. See above :)

My DR was truly tanked by now, so time to get serious. After a 2nd place with fastest lap I managed to drive to victory! After that there were 2 more 2nd places and the last race another victory, despite and thanks to this incident.
NMO5mlZ.gif

I get hit from behind and slide into the competition I have been battling with the previous races. He goes off, I get SR Down, red rating for the race and 3 sec penalty for that... Yet I manage to get 6 seconds ahead of the rest so easy win. I was hoping for another close race though.

It was only -1 SR this time, so ending the day at 32.3k/98

Btw starting at the front wasn't all that great. 2nd to 4th pass you on the straight then 3rd kept me up letting first and second escape. I did manage to catch them again, that straight is so long it's very hard to get away. (Good for a cup of tea along the way)

Hahaha, yeah, the Raptor is actually surprisingly nimble in the corners and absolutely shoots off the line, but it tops out way too low on the straights (I was capping at 142-143 MPH, [~230KPH] but I also didn't have the transmission optimized). If this was on the Chicane'd version it'd have a far better chance, but I think it needs a track with less long straights to be competitive.

On my run it was great fun up until the Mulsanne where everyone shot by, I took a hefty last place on my attempt, wasn't even close to another car.

This was probably the highlight though:

Race C yesterday at Le Man was propably the most fun i had in Sport mode. Tuning was also available which made it even better.

I used an Audi R8 , only tuned the suspension and left everything else stock (plus the gears , BIG mistake). The thing sucked really bad at straights but owned everyone else at the technical parts of the track. Also it had very good fuel consumption and tyre wear , to the point that i pitted on lap 3 instead of lap 2 like everyone else did. Although that didn't do any good at the end since it dropped me to 14th.

I wish PD would do more of these.

WHY DO I KEEP MISSING THE N CLASS RACES????? I really want to do one but they don't occur on the right day.

This gif is amazing Sven! Absolutely love it!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Thank you for the kind words Macboilija! I will work to get it up here lol, I looked at my phone, and saw a photo I took of the 2nd race yesterday, it was actually start at P15 and end up P5 lol :boggled: And heads up on the livery, I didn't share it because the stars are not done and that's the last bit. I also need to extract the replays and generate some gifs like Sven did. I did an overtake move on the long straight that someone didn't like last night  (no contact btw, in case you're guessing)

Here's a quick photo from the replay of my 95% done Hoonigan "poo" car, and a view from it's better looking side lol. Also happen to be giving too much throttle at the corner before Indianapolis - this is a rough guess. I'll check back later.

Race C, got 2nd on grid.
Start perfect, keep my spot at p2, L6 I pit and keep my position.

At the exit of the pit: BAM, blue screen of errors.

I'm seriously starting to hate this game..

So now, instead of gaining bucketload of DR in really fast group I get to lose both DR and SR for the crash.

To make things worse, I only had time for this one race.

-1200 DR

Thanks for nothing, daily race...🤬🤬🤬:banghead:

Edit:
Got home earlier, start p2, get brake-checked by spaniard right at the start, he slams brakes hard after the countdown on start/finish straight way before the turn..
10 and orange sr.
No way to rub those off in gr.1, had to literally full stop to shrug off 4s.
Was p1, dropped to p6 while taking off penalty :(
Race 3, start p5, no way to take over anyone, super slow room and literally everyone zigzag.
Got rammed so many times that I get 38s penalty (add one super early braker as well)..
By far dirtiest race since day 1, really wish I recorded.. Lost 45 Sr in that one.
Not my day:indiff:

Le Mans was so much fun! But it’s kinda dumb that one car dominated, I mean there are so many cars in N400, couldn’t they make one or two better to challenge the F40?

Anyway I grabbed a Praino setup, tuned it to my preferences and grabbed a couple wins. Only my 41st and 42nd wins, which is depressingly low considering I’ve completed 8 million races :boggled:

Not really time for more than 1 race. Race C didn't apeal, so I spent time qualifying the Merc GT3 for race B. I was having a hard time putting together the best lap I could manage with stupid mistakes. I'd get ahead of the ghost and then feel the pressure. I missed my optimum by a second, so qualified P9/16 in a mixed grid and DR/C and D.

Release the hounds! The pack plunges headlong into T1. I try to get the inside, and someone else had the same idea. I got there first. I was sandwiched between two cars on the exit, and the guy on the outside ends up in the sand, and I end up with an orange SR and a 10s penalty. For the next few corners things were a bit iffy as the handling was a bit off. Sorted, I got on with the race. I passed a few wrecks, and just had better speed in a few places to make some clean passes :D. I was going round one corner two wide, and was able to back off just enough to keep the inside but let the other guy stay on the track :scared:.

I was keeping up with the front pack and often had to back off :dopey:. I got up to P3, but screwed up the exit to the bus stop and dropped back to P6. I gathered myself and plugged away, and passed P5 while they pin balled their way across the track. I got better drive coming out of the turn leading up to the bus stop on the final lap and passed P4 before the bus stop. Got round the final corner and onto the start finish strait, pulled over to the right and pulsed slowing down and speeding up a few times, all the while expecting the guy behind to pass me before the line. He didn't and I crossed with a second outstanding, but still maintained my position. P4 :D.

Orange SR on a race B means finishing with SR down. In this case 4 points. DR up 635. Gives me 1931 points to spend on my trip to DR/C :dopey:.

This is from a daily race, a while ago. I finally uploaded it because it's really funny. It's the last lap at Tokyo Expressway, and myself and one other racer had separated from the pack. After the move he tried to pull, right before the finish line, I couldn't stop laughing for a long time.

Edit: make sure your speakers are on, to hear the result.

:lol::lol::lol::lol: WOW!!

Did 2 races in race C GR.1 Suzuka.

Gained many positions in both races but not because I was faster then anyone. I just kept myself on track.

The races were really fly out partys.

After chosing not to use assists anymore a few weeks ago, here an advice to all wheel users:

Turn also assists off.

I thought I'll be much slower and will spin every race, but after 2 or 3 dozen races its not the case. I spoon only 2 or 3 times. Assists are more for the ds4 users from my point of view, because there is much harder steer/throttle control

As a DS4 user I would also recommend not using any assists even with the DS4. I am much faster without them than with them, it just takes learning how to be smoother with the inputs. As of now I only use ABS weak or default situationally but everything else is off. I sit 52nd regionally and 2nd for Ford in the manufactures cup so that proves that no assists can be fast enough.

I spend most of my time doing Race B at Dragontrail today , since we didn't have a proper Gr.3 race in a long time "cough" Blue Moon "cough".
I first tried with the AMG GT3 , wanting to try something different. At the end i managed a 1:41.3 in second place , just behind a Supra. It turned out that the Supra was really fitting for the track while mine sucked badly so i remained 2nd place at the end , after giving a battle with an obnoxious Mitsubishi behind me.

The R8 was my second choice for the race , beating my best time with the Merc in the first try with the Audi. Tried 3 times to do a race , in the first time the game didn't felt like letting me play so it disconnected me and the second time while trying to overtake at the first corner i didn't have any space so i spun out dropping down to last place and rage quitting (that 2nd place with the Merc really did shake my nerves a bit)

At the third time tho i got pole position and an easy victory , so at the end it all went well.

Laughed so much, so satisfying! True karma:lol:

Race C seems to be impossible to win in my bracket without pole. So many dirty players..
After dropping sr to A, I actually ended up in "cleanest" race by far for full bag of sr and back to sr S.
Still not enough dr to recover dc, but it's something:D

Top pearls from my last race (forgive the potato quality):

Did a couple Huracan races at 3am. First one, I forgot to set up the HUD to turn off TCS. So, at the start(was last anyway), pause to options and pit full display and TCS 0. The field was gone thru T1 by the time I got going.

Sis manage to catch up start of lap 3. Due to cars spinning at the tight Downhill esses. Finished 9th.

Sexind race started 9th and finished 6th. Good nose to tail battling from 1st back to me til the finish.

The races are alright, but I'm so hyped for the kei cars. Really hoping for some Daily races with them.

Just knocked out of the race with the huracan gr4... Never felt so disappointed with this game... After accumulating some seconds of penality, the game started giving me some randomic penalities for minor touches or others touching me... Accumulated 30 sec of penality(never happened that) and guess what? After the 30th second, the game started giving me 1 sec of penality for every second that passed during the race, even if I was on the track. After accumulating 1 min this way, a countdown started saying I would be knocked out if I didn't expired penality... It had been impossible for me so I got knocked out... Can someone explain this? I'm gutted...

I was just getting no sleep. Kind of wondered why I could see the track so clear, during Warm up. :dunce:
I definitely can't race when I'm tired. Drinking: not a problem. To a certain point, of course.

Happed to me once. I really wanted to bust up in the Stewards office, after that race.

That's why I go shallow into T1. I transition down low so it's not banging from the bank straight to the inside.

How do you deal with the bank after the curve. Do you go up on it and stay tight to the left line ? I have seem both ways.
