Hello. This are the next week races:
Fuji gt gr4. Race a
Interlagos gr3. Race b
Suzuka gr2. Race c.

Not bad in my opinion, Just dont like too Much Interlagos...:drool::drool:
 
Man, I’ve had like 5/6 pole starts and only one win so far with the Mini, I keep making small mistakes late in the race and losing position. I want at least one more Dub before the races change over and I go back to P9/12 starts again lol.

In general, not just this week, I’ve also thrown too many wins away from pole with silly errors.

Driving with the lead is tough, it should be easier as there is no one in front of you to obstruct your view or get in the way, but it’s harder lol. The more we put ourselves in that position the better we will get at it though. :)

I guess I should account for the competition getting tougher too, I’ve gone from DR-D/SR-B on Friday to DR-B/SR-S since then, the competition is much faster overall now.

Players need to have patience. I'm supremely focused on this. Another, is players that feel the need to pass then, move over jump on the brakes right in front of the car they passed.
Lastly, the car behind. If the car behind is gaining on long straights, prepare for early braking. I early brake at heated moments, to avoid overshooting a turn after a long straight. I know I give that courtesy to the car I'm chasing. May slow me down, but gives both a breather and doesn't slow us from either losing pace to the leaders and cars behind.

We all need a race craft refresher. No matter how much experience anyone has.
 
Man, I am going to be all over this week’s races. I love every single one of those combos but will probably lose DR because of it....but who cares, at least losing DR will mean I might have a better chance at winning this week’s FIA races, lol.

I had x2 DCs lastnight. Restart cured it but I ended up still racing at 2.30am rebuilding DR lol.

Try restarting every x2 races. That seems to be the "trick".

i`ll race for fun. mostly in underrated cars. i know in a ss or as lobby, i can only move up by default other drivers :cheers:.
i like to use cars with clutch and h-pattern shifter with my g29 wheel.

Its hard, when all 20 Racers qualified in 1s (Gr3 Race Suzuka). In a fair race at this level with flying start, only hope is a mistake in front of you.
The other thing is, these locked "stock" understeer settings are not so compatible with my driving style.

 
Been away for a while, had a nice clean race in a low DR/SR band in Race C in Gr1 cars, was a nice return to online racing. Hope that is a sign of things to come, but I guess by the end of the week and on Race C there is the best chance of clean racing. Liking the look of Race C next week, though Race A could be a great chance to get to grips with Fuji.
 
Eclipsed 18k dr! Personal best. I did 5-6 race b. Good finishes, but there’s always someone in a Porsche that’s too quick.
I can’t extract any potential from that car at all. I did find the RCZ goes well for me. Didn’t use it but seems user friendly to me with tcs2 for a lighter handling car. That’s the only one I might try on race b. I stuck to my guns and big power so far... Didn’t see too many fr cars used but seemed to work for me at mid dr b sr s.
Seems tough for the Porsche’s to catch exiting corners and on straights, but it’s also tough to catch a Porsche driver that knows what he’s doin.
Tried to get a handle on race c, but I need more practice, I’d literally be a hazard out there...

I saw you a couple of times in lobbies yesterday, that Mazda is a real screamer. Those Group C cars deserve to have their own class though so they can be competitive.
 
Had Suzuka at least once a month, I like the track, but this crap is garbage.
 
I tried damn hard on Race A this week (and the time before that and the time before that) and got nowhere. I feel like I'm never going to get better. The more effort I put in the more disappointed I am. It sucks to suck.
 
This week's selection will definitely keep me occupied.
 
What's going to be a respectable qualifying time for Suzuka Gr2 this week, early 1.50's?

I could’ve won la sarthe with a group c car
But i messed up, and then someone punted me off the road.
Eff this game dude.
Nothing but disappointment today.
Not to mention these penalties at la sarthe are so inconsistent, they suck,
Please on god bring the next events please

Initial qualy or Race A, was a 43.558, in the Mustang. Got booted at the loading screen. Went back and qualified with a 42.619. I'll just hold that for the week.

Some people run really wide up to the barrier and get no penalty. Sometimes these penalties are a few tenths of a second other times they are multiple seconds, seemingly without reason.

It's not much of a problem at the moment when you can slowly get rid of them when you want but with penalty zones an harsh penalty will end your race.

Ive been viewing that corner as 3 seperate penalty awards and its become fairly consistent for me.

  1. Take to much inside kerb instant pen.
  2. Take a combination of too much inside kerb and too wide not instant but it wii pop up.
  3. Take it too wide without a significant lift in throttle, inside kerb not being a problem, penalty will pop up.
 
I’ve just checked the Fuji replays and it is clear the track limits are going to be well abused there this week. That’s a shame as I fancied some Gr4 action this week.

Invis - I tried them all Huracan and Megane fastest but the Megane much more consistant. Veyron no. 3. (forme)... Cheers

I had great success last time this combo came on with the Ferrari 458. Its pretty planted and a change of views in a field full of meganes, veyrons and huracans. Its really consistent, and you'll only lose abit on the big straight if you're not close enough.
But this week I'll fight for sucess both on Race A and B with the NSX, as it's my favourite car, and pretty underrated for a corner beast that it is.
