I saw you a couple of times in lobbies yesterday, that Mazda is a real screamer. Those Group C cars deserve to have their own class though so they can be competitive.

I saw you in a late night lobby on Saturday. Hoped to race you but got punted hard into Indianapolis on lap 1. Finished close to last.

Think you won it! Congratulations

I moved up one place. Fighting the whole race. Think he was sitting in my passenger seat, at the finish. Respect.

Just one or two Aussies there I see .

I guess I’ll have to brush up on my race car skills this week, I was having too much fun in the Mini last week to play much of the other races lol. What are some good cars to try on this weeks tracks?

2 races for me tonight. First up, I thought I'd give Race A a go in the trophy (no longer the META). I put in a pretty crap qualifying time, and was supposed to start P10/12 on a grid with 2 DR/Cs and the rest Ds. The reset bug hit and I had to restart the game. I came back and managed to gain another second.. which still had me a second away from where I needed to be. That got me P6/11. My old time would have gotten me P7on a grid of 2 DR/Ds and the rest Cs. I figured if I can hold station, I'd do ok. I figured wrong .

With the track so wide there were too many lines that people could take. The first lap wasn't racing, it was demo derby! Cars were going everywhere. I spent most of the race either trying not to hit anyone and getting rammed from behind, or me not being able to pick where the pack was going to brake. I saw so many orange SRs I have no idea how I managed to stay SR/S . The same number of contacts at Red Bull dropped me to SR/B :yuck:. I had one guy turn in and I didn't brake in time. Later he decided to take retribution by pushing me into the wall on the main strait when I was already with my tyres in the extreme left edge of the track, and he had 3 car widths of road with which to pass me. In the end I crossed P7 but finished P10.

SR down 12, DR down 600.... oi!

On to race C! I put in some laps with the NSX. I just don't seem to gel with the other two. I found myself starting P8/14 on a grid of mostly DR/Bs with 4 Cs and two of us Ds. This surprised me, because I know I am slow, and I was doing my qualifying short shifting so I didn't get into the habit of thrashing it during the race. I've never been able to do a 1 stop race with the NSX without short shifting :odd:.

The race was surprisingly clean. No major dramas at T1, which was unexpected. I usually enter T1 slower than everyone else and get punted. I had some fairly close battles, but sadly I dropped back after a massive spin from too much throttle on the astro turf. I was re-spawned after the 3rd rotation. :scared:. The short shifting was a little too good, but my tyres were shredded so I had to pit lap 6 and take on 1.8 laps of fuel.

I figured I could afford to give it some welly on the corners and short shift on the straits. In the end I finished P7 with 0.2 laps of fuel left.

I got all my SR back and a bit over half my DR back. Another day above DR 1 :dopey:.

Had an outing in the 458 on Race A, was in the lead briefly and also had fastest lap until the final lap where I went wide a couple of times and ended up two from last in the end with only -3SR to show for it. Hard to predict what lines people will take, and despite seeing a lot of swipes behind managed to avoid most of the carnage.

The Veyron has it on the straight, but obviously it's weight means it struggles at corners particularly the last section before the straight. Most of the back is open and wide though so they don't lose too much time but the inside line on the Hairpin is a great place to pass a Veyron, and you can also catch up through Dunlop to put a move in before the end if you aren't too far behind one mid lap.

In the end an Audi TT won my race, so they might be worth a look too.

Expecting a 22b or mini race in next weeks batch of daily races along with Circut de barcelona of course

Thank you but I won't take any credit for winning, the Toyota is a beast with that fuel consumption but nobody else seemed to notice.

Indianapolis is a tough one, if people mess up the first part they wipe out somebody else at the second, or because it's an online game and everybody hates each other it's a nice slow corner for trying to kill each other.

Iwas using the Toyota myself. Great car, but shhhhh, don't tell anybody ;)

Edit: No remorse was shown to me. As I emptied my mouth of gravel, he was up the road. 🤬 A+ drivers, suck a dick (tongue in cheek comment).

My turn to get punted again :)

Set the 3rd best time at Interlagos so lets hope I actually gain DR this stream

Something great happened to me right now in race C. The game bugged and I started the race on the hairpin, in last place. Started the race 40 seconds behind everybody. I was probably on the intersection, and the game started me in the wrong part of the track. Ffs

Currently 6th Overall in Race C at my second lap only

Yeah, TT seem to have top end again. Was able to out drag the Huracan side-o-by-side-o, in the Mustang(3rd gear acceleration and corner stability, are it's strengths). Off-throttle tuck in, as well.

Yeah, saw this happening to another guy. The car starting 17th (or maybe 18th) will start on the hairpin.

Where do these bugs come from. I feel sorry for anyone who ends up starting here, you are already facing a big task before this makes it impossible, you may as well quit the race.

I had a guy yesterday in the Mini who started 2nd behind me one race with a qualifying time and beat me, then on 3 other occasions after that started the race in DFL with no qualy time at all somehow and won two of those race and finished second once(I wouldn’t let him by on the last lap). How do you erase your qually time for one? And how was he that much faster for two? Starting DFL and finishing P1 in the Mini was ny impossible.

You can't and you are not supposed to able to. You sure he wasn't using a different account with a very similar name. If not it could be another glitch.

I’m pretty sure it was the same guy each time, Newby81 or something like that. He definitely had a qually time in the first race and started P2, the next races he started last with no time recorded. He was flying from last to first in just the 7 laps of the Mini race.

Race C Gr2 at Suzuka GP.

3 races and mixed results.

Race 1 started pole (wow) and had built up a 3 second lead coming to final chicane on lap 2. However someone behind had skittles the cones on previous lap so I missed braking point and overshot. Could not catch second.

Race 2. Arguably my best ever race. Started p7 but got punted and spun around on final chicane lap 1. Dropped to 12th. I am normally very inconsistent with my lap times, as much as 2 seconds but I put in 9 consistent laps no more than .4 sec apart. That combined with a few nice overtakes at first corner and last chicane plus others visiting the sand I actually won that race. My 10th overall and first for a long time. Happy times.

Race 3. My previous 2 races had boosted me from a B/B driver to a B/S driver and final lobby was mostly A/S rated guys. P9 but by lap 3 was in p5 thanks to others building sand castles. However on my in lap I overdid it on the s bends and flattened the previous built sand castles as I was pushing little to hard. Brought car home in 8th.

Overall a fun few races. Gr 2 is a bit to fast for me and cars seem feather light when steering. No way I could had raced them without TC2, I may had got away with TC1 but I have a lead foot. I was using GTR. Unless you with higher rated drivers you will gain places just by being safe and keeping car on track as those that push it often lose it as Suzuka is rather unforgiving. Also good for SR recovery.

This guy? https://www.kudosprime.com/gts/stats.php?profile=2415752 If so their driving standards leave a lot to be desired but they do have some pace it seems but when you get DR reset over and over, like by getting to 1 SR you will have a chance at lots of wins.

Still don't know why their time got reset though, that's an odd one.

Race wise, I'm pretty fast in the Mini. It can be done.

That seems to be the guy, he was second in this race. It the one where I wouldn’t let him by me lol.

Boring game ,all weeks the same.
PD.shame !!!

It's an old trap. I still tend to be using the cones as a guide, but you really need to try finding non movable guides for your braking, like kerbs or distance markers. :scared:

Race C, P17 = death

for some reason a bug in the game starts you UNDER the bridge at suzuka, instead of just at 130R, if you get P17 through your quali time you start there, half a lap behind.

Yes, already mentioned in this thread, dumb bug and a pretty recent one I think, have not heard of this before.

that really sucks. you're at least the 2nd person that has posted about this. I'm curious, if you're starting P17, are P18-P20 still behind you, or is P17 the only position affected and it places you behind everyone else? How far away is the closest car?

I've only seen it online, not experienced it myself but other positions are fine, from what I've seen its 55 sec behind leader, so call it like 45 sec
behind the last car

After hitting the 75.000 DR-Cap I started a new account. So this weeks video is something different. ;)
With a E / B Ranking i wanted to know if it´s possible for me to win a race from last place at the start.
I think i was on a good way but the penalty system killed my mission on the last lap. :ouch:
Maybe someone else has a good reason for this 3 seconds at 20:20 min...

wow, that's one hell of a sprint race! I'll be sure not to qualify 17th :D
