Also had the glitch on start on Race A for me, had 4 cars glitching the whole race at the start line, on the approach to final lap I saw one had picked up a penalty, I was in 4th spot driving terrible as I was on the phone to work at the time, then, I think just coming off the final bend I saw I dropped to 6th and the car I saw stuck at start line for whole race (and had picked up a penalty) had finished the race. Have saved the video but not the replay. Wanted to see what the driver of that car saw...I’m guessing a normal race? Had it happen to one car in race before and just shrugged it off. Seems to me a massive issue following update
 
Guys.. just to be sure... The Penalty Zones "thing" is not yet implemented on online daily/weekly races after 1.29 update.. is n´t it??

Also had the big start glitch in every Race C I ran this afternoon - cars stopping after the auto-start, cars racing past everybody else before the start, and finally 3 cars that stayed stuck on the straight before the final chicane for the whole race.

It works for me!!! Had a great race between my French-Canadian Veyron and a GTR... love the fact that the 2 heaviest cars within the Gr4 class can do so well...

Did a quick race c. I am down in d driving but b safety. Grid was mix of d up to b dr class (the b guy lapped a good 5 seconds faster than me) Huge glitch at the start. Cars everywhere and ended up 8th.

The glitch cars were on the straight just after 130r and never moved

You got 3 seconds because 2nd place gamed the broken penalty system.

The old "hit someone from behind, go off track and give the penalty to the innocent party" trick.

and i was going to ask if PD tweaked something about the penalty system , i have my answer -_-

Sorry but how would you describe going like 10-20 meteres outside the boundaries. Thats just plain awful.
I know its PDs fault but they should regulate it as well if they see it in the top 10.
I know everyone will try their best to go around the track as fast as possible, but thats just way too much IMO.

There is still SR deductions for getting hit in the rear, or the racer behind trying to force you off track by doing a pit manouver.
 
Dont know if the update messed up something or it was consequences of bad luck but for 2 races I had my first wheel failure - the wheel became unresponsive and the throttle was on max even though I wasnt pressing it - good thing it happened on qually, then on the race the guy in front of me was massively lagging which caused the auto drive to slow down and create huge gap between me - 5th and the podium guys and on the last race - I just got disconnected :)
 
Had the start glitch in both my races last night. Funny thing was I led 4/5 laps (allegedly) crossed the line p1 but the results had a car that was stuck on the grid as the winner by 2.2 seconds. I realised something was amiss when they started clocking fastest laps worthwhile stationary in p13 on my screen

@Mr616 If I was in charge that would be a 2 or 3 day ban from Sport Mode for that, the blocking afterwards just confirms the dirty intent for me.

As it is it's just another dirty driver driving dirty to win. :banghead:

It's the actions afterwards which confirms their driving standards and tells me it was no accident. Their KP profile tells the whole story. These kind of drivers should be exempt from holding high DR imo.

Edit: It must be my fault lol. Happened again first race of the night. Nerfed T1 lap 2. Full DR:A upwards lobby.

I was in pole a lot today and at least 3 times some cars behind me just disappeared, or they were suddenly 3-7 sec behind at the very start. No idea what happened there... So ridiculous!
 
Should I not do daily races today? Cause holy crap I was watching a video about daily race c, and the start of the race was so glitched up to oblivion. Honestly reminded me of some old school GT5 Prologue shizz there lmao.
Soeaking of race c, how do the ‘08 cars fare there?
 
I’m the latest victim of a glitch on race C, I started maybe 13th? Anyway the car directly in front of me on the grid came to a complete standstill before the start, he veered off to one side to block my neighbour, the race started, I got away scott free. Leaving me almost 10 seconds behind the car in front with a 6 second cushion behind me.

Finished 6th in the end, over the moon given the competition, players were lapping 1:51s, 1:51.7 was my Q time!

How do the old Super GT cars fare against the new ones in Race C? The stats look pretty hopeless without BOP.

The 2016 models handle allot better IMO feel like they didnt spend much time on the Base Tune compared to the 2016 cars LSD is quite sensitive on the Xanavi GTR

BoP gives the old cars a power boost. I still found the current NSX easier to drive and a bit easier on the tyres than the "old" one that came in the update.

I really hope next week, or at least reasonably soon, there's a Gr.X weekly for the Zonda R. Preferably at Maggiore because it's Italian.
 
Got my first Race Car Win! Peugeot RCZ, it’s weight is spot on so the BoP adds none and it gets bumped to 110% Power but won’t spin a tire, great car for this race. 2nd place tried to bump me off on the first turn of the final lap, I saved it while only slightly going on and stayed on his tail the entire lap knowing he had 8.0 Penalty time, he slowed down on the final straight and I sailed on to easy victory, he tried though. It was a fun race. :)

From a mid-A driver down to B in six races. I really am rusty. I guess 6 months away from racing would do that, though. Maybe I'll get back to finishing races without offs and spins. Hopefully soon. T-T
