Is anyone setting disconnected from daily races? Just got the same BS error 2 times in a row despite being online.

around 2000 DR points each time. FFS. I only come to Sport Mode once in a while and today I was looking forward for some races around Lake M. but I'm getting pissed as hell. And I have the top1 time in Europe and wanted to get a few wins today.

What a bunch of crap...

Not even by being in first place the game let's you go unpunished. Who in their right mind, starting on pole and going in first place would quit a race on purpose?

I'm having some issues connecting but I think its more to do with the fact I'm quite far from the router.
 
What connection issues do you guys have, does this appear during the race?
I never had this at all, however I do get this blue screen CE..... error at least 3 times per day either right when joining a race or ending my qualification or after watching a replay. And I very very much doubt this is a HDD issue like it is being explained in many places as I only have this with GT Sport and only when it is "between" something (might be when it is doing the "online save").
 
Mine is just general shoddy loading times, sometimes so long the game gives up and tells me something like MPServerError or whatever, or Failed to Establish Connection when the lobby loads.

Like I said, I think mine is just too far from the router.
 
It happen to me today twice.
Both in Race C.

Second time I was 2nd and gettting close to first being chased close by 3rd and 4th.
Made the tight curve and went up hill, looked at the mirror and saw both of them going out to the sand, looked to the first place and he was going out too... then it disconnected!!
This is not the first time happening... I thought was just my bad connection.
I went from A/S to A/A

Maggiore is not one of my strong circuits, I am going to struggle today. Time to dust off my trusty WRX, the awd makes it easy mode especially when the tires start to go off.

trl senna 2 seconds ahead of 2nd place on the LB in my region, that is...disheartening lol.

That was my worst race in a while got punted off few time overall real dirty. Did you stop at all or no stop ? I stopped took 1 lap to many fuel and got destroyed in the midfield.

Yeah I saw that. When you pit and you come out in the middle of the pack it's nuts. Nope I don't stop. Despite Lake Maggiore having one of the smallest pit lanes, I prefer not to stop at all. With Gr.3 I would stop probably.
 
R. E. Connection issue,

I think there is a coherent problem and I think it may be caused by the system update that came out today (going off personal Experience, but I got it today). Yesterday, I had almost no issues with the daily races, connecting to each race. Every now and then the connection bar would drop to 1 or 2 mid race but would go back up to 4 by the end.

Today is a nightmare. I've only managed to do 1 daily race out of 6 or 7 I've tried to enter. Luckily my DR hasn't been affected, it's still at 59,901. Phew.

No stop worked better. Only 14 sec behind you. I'm just gonna count that as a win :p

It's better for sure! :) The race time of the last 4 races I did was either 16m50sec or within 1 sec of that. ^^
 
What engine map are you using for no stop? I’m gonna race tonight, so I want to prepare myself.
 
So it’s not like Nurb GP Gr.4?
I could not stop using 1 the whole race. Didn’t even understand why people were stopping.

I don't have slipstream for the whole race so I can't save more fuel. Not all races are the same in terms of fuel consumption. This one is 4x
 
This is so ridiculous, but, if u can handle the dumbs behind you, it makes really fun to drive tokyo... notice... Strolling grabs 28 seconds penalty at the end... crazy :crazy:

Do you short shift cause i am switching from 2 all the way down to 5 or 6 in the slow turns and just finished with 0.0 left.

No definitely not like the Nurb the other day, that was a sprint race in 1 all the way even without slipstream. This one needs some managing.

Always. I'm managing fuel since the first corner basically. I try to get to 1sec gap and then change to fuel map 2.
 
Here's a commentated video of my daily race at Suzuka yesterday. Unfortunately I only had time for one race so had to learn as I went along a little but managed to have a reasonable race nonetheless. Conserving fuel in the 'S' section at the beginning of the lap seemed to work pretty well in limiting tyre wear and reducing the time spent in the pit stop taking on more fuel.

I struggled with the final sector a little, particularly with the rear of the car on the kerbs in the final chicane. Still, I managed to move forward from my starting position against a strong field of drivers and am now just over half way through driver rating A and continuing to climb towards that S rank...

 
So I've been racing the one make race all week in the Golf VII GTI. I'm at a DR C & DR S my qualifying time puts me around 3rd every race. I normally don't advance from that spot anymore because Im supposed to be with better racers but after saving the replays the last 5 race's I have noticed something. I'm almost the only one not running driving assist except ABS default. Everyone else's has their assist lit up like a Christmas tree in the replays.

So I'm starting to think what's the point of not using them as its clearly not a majority thing.
I will run assist like TC on cars that are absolutely uncontrollable without it but im starting to rethink that decision now.

Anyway I've had some good racing today and I also have not seen or experienced any problems with the servers today like others have.

Oh cool yes we did. Congrats on your win. You two left me quickly. My best lap is a 2:10.043 so I stand no chance of running in the 2:08 Or 2:09 range like you can.

Afterwards i wanted to watch the replay, but the PS4 crashed when i tried to fast forward of change cars, i think the replay was corrupted, second time it happened. and i think it relates to how much storage space there was left.. not enough i guess..

Unlikely, the replays take just a few MBs. So unless your storage is more or less 100% full this can't be the problem.
 
The course today for the Gr. 3 race is Tokyo East Loop. It is like destruction derby......lost a bunch of SR and decided not to go for a second spin. More than 3 guys had 20 second penalties as they give you a 5 second penalty every time you bang against the wall, doesn't matter if it is your fault or not. Stay away!!!!

You think the WRX will have enough fuel to last all the laps if I put it at Fuel Mix 3? I too like the AWD for the no-pit strategy

I have a tendency to store lots of replays, and this replay wasn't complete, when i played it back without touching anything it ends prematurely. I hope they look into it. Seems weird that you can have 100GB free space and run out of Replay space..

Saving the replay in game has nothing to do with your actual PS4 storage availability. There is an in game limit for saving replays. If you can’t save them you need to go through your collection and delete some to be able to save new ones.

I had a replay that should have been 20+ minutes long but only 40 seconds saved. The next time I tried to save a replay the option was unavailable until I cleared space in my collection.
