What are you guys thinking for next week's races? 3 repeats? My fantasy remains to have 21 different races for the week.

We haven't had karts in forever in the dailies. Have we had a kart race at Tsukaba yet?

Knowing troll PD next week:
Race A: Tokyo central inner loop, slow one make
Race B: Blue moon bay GR.3
Race C: Fuji GR.4

Next race was another good one. Had a little tussle with the crowd in t1 but got clean of it by the bottom of the hill. Spent the next nine laps chasing the guy who got away clean from The pole. Cought him at the end of lap nine but wasn't able to make a good pass. Funny thing is we were 4 sec up on the field. Why does this keep happening? It seems if i am second or third doesnt matter, we run from the crowd.... anyways, nice after race msgs with the winner and fastest lap. On to the next one.....

Next one was good again. Started 3 finish 2 but down to 5 cuse i forgot about an anonymous penalty from one of the first corners of the race lol cant take away my fastest lap though HA!

I beat my best time this morning on DT SS, by 5 whole hundredths.1:46.407, it sure doesn’t feel like there’s 2 entire seconds left out there so I decided to take the top time and break it down so I could compare it with my own to see where I’m losing the time at. Answer, Everywhere.

My line is similar, my braking points are similar and my turn in points are similar, so I got to thinking where is the speed at? So I took a photo/screenshot of both my car and the top time at every Apex except T15 and T16, I took the entry to T15 and Exit of T16. There was the answer, I’m losing a little time in nearly ever single corner through the middle of the turn and it’s affecting my exit speeds. Im gonna try to adjust the point where I release full brake pressure and start to trail off the brakes in as many corners as I possible today to see if I can get my mid corner and exit speeds up without changing my brake starting points. Now to see if any of this info helps. :)

Nice lap! I’ll give you a few suggestions. Wish I had saved my lap properly but it did that weird thing where it only saved the first 25s then cut off.

Turn in a little bit later in the T2 uphill chicane, just gives you a better angle for exit and I think you can brake just a hair later there and still hit full throttle all the way through the hill.

Once you get to the 2nd sector and you enter that downhill left that leads to the uphill esses, brake earlier if you have to, but you want to be full throttle when you turn in and definitely by the time you hit those first kerbs on your left. In your lap you were still feathering throttle as you hit the kerbs. It’s a long uphill straight basically and you wanna carry more speed through that first turn in the series. It makes no sense to try and outbrake someone there in race.

After the esses you approach the crazy sharp right hander right before the bus stop. It looks like you messed up there and lost traction or something, but you should use more of the track there and follow the dark lines in the track rather than hug the inside, or the outside. The middle line through that turn seems fastest, but again, more throttle through that turn because of the long straight ahead.

You lifted through the bus stop, if you lift, it’s not just a long straight now is it?

Final turn, brake just as late but try to trail brake and turn in harder to hug that apex more. Not quite on kerb but close, keep a little throttle through this corner if you can then full throttle all the way out.

My best so far is 1:45.4 and I’m just itching to put together a 45.0 which I know I’m capable of.

Man, Suzuka is tough. Got up to fourth, and the fear of dirtiness into t1 and I ran wide and got reset back to 11th where I got by one guy who did not like it and went for the Degner rear quarter panel maneuver.
He got by but I held it together in a drift.
I jumped him in the pits and he tries to punt me in spoon ruining my exit and just getting by but he ran wide at 130r so I knew he was gonna come in hot. I assisted him into last place...jackass.
My race was done though.
I think I finished ten, but it was my own mistake...Like I said a war of attrition...
That’s enough for me. Maintained my 99sr though!
It was great to see the dirty guy finish dfl, but when that gives me pleasure it’s time to stop...

Edit, I was wrong on replay same guy tried to punt me lap one in hairpin in that race and lost me 2 spots before he screwed up spoon Then after my off was when he Tried again. Twice in one race! He paid for his crime!
I had had enough. Good luck you guys. I’m out...

What time is it, race 'o clock!

First attempt, starting at SR 75. Started 14th, went to 7th, got punted off by a 1 bar Mexican jumping bean, back to 12th, finished 7th with clean race bonus. Sure, I'll overtake half the field twice. SR 81 now, will it be the sweet spot for at least a fastest lap?

Oh do I know this game. Fastest lap with just a 1:47.2. I only made it to 7th though as I had a run in with 2 Brazilians, one a brake checker (or no clue how to take the bus stop) the other a diver. Great to be in between that. I also had a senior moment and confused my brake point for the last turn, big difference between x meters before the kerb starts or after. It's not after. SR a +1 due to the spin and contact. So I get to stay in the sweet spot.

Next race, stuck between 2 Brazilians at the start again. The one in front is slow, the one behind sticks a nose in after the chicane on my inside, either he pushed me into the sand or his lag did it for him. I race him hard the rest of the race which made him complain after. Apologies both sides, both racing angry, not good. We had a good race for the final two laps and I beat him to the line by a few tenths. All the contacts cost me 3 SR to 79. Fast guy from the first race infiltrated the sweet spot anyway, no chance at fastest lap.

Thanks, excellent lap to you too! Thank you very much for all the great advice man, it’s much appreciated! I’ll try that after dinner and see where I can get, thanks again. :)

Holding it down through the bus stop is scary!!

Oh look, I will be taking a forced vacation from Sport next week :irked::irked::irked::irked::irked::irked::irked::irked:

What happened to giving a crap about THE CORE ASPECT OF YOUR GAME???? What happened to Catalunya??It's was a great Gr3 track and will probably be a great Gr4 track. What happened to ANYTHING DIFFERENT FROM THE SAME CAR AND TRACK COMBOS????FFS!!!!

No need to panic yet, that was only my prediction

Next race, umm got to check my flags. Viva Colombia, or rather not. Colombian decides it's best to ram me off in the braking zone, he did not survive the bus stop after. Then some trouble with a Brazilian, yet he falls behind himself. The two of them almost catch back up when a dumb Canadian messes up the esses and decides the best place to gain speed is on the racing line in the fastest section. That slowed me right down. Luckily I escape the two angry ones approaching from behind after passing the canadian on the way to the bus stop. Lap 4 is finally quiet enough to set the fastest lap. Neutral SR, another SR.A race coming up.

What's this. 5th place finish, clean race bonus, only 1 red rating in the room. Thanks to the room having mostly Americans in it. Thanks for your clean driving! SR 85, sweet spot time, maybe.

I think those suck. :p

Hmmm maybe choosing races everybody likes isn't so easy?:odd:

Couldn't execute my fuel save attack properly, because of the mayhem at the back. Avoided everything until this one car rams someone off at the hairpin. I'm coming along the outside as they wanted the inside line. Then, the dude decides he wants to have a chat with the car he punted ofr and as it's ghosting, the rammer nearly takes me off with it in the outside gravel. What the hell, man??!!! Do that on your own time!

The Viper was tripping over itself on Lap 5, I had to slow up behind it. Was 36 seconds behind the leader at pit entry. I made up 12 seconds to the leader after the pit stop.
The BMW had the straightline speed and was too slow in the corners. So, had to use caution and lost more time.

If PD could explain why you can divebomb the Scirocco into turn 1 multiple times in daily race A and not get a penalty id gladly hear it.

Also love how i try the C race and lose 17 SR points and get bounced in the A race countless times and still gain 1 SR

Please allow me to clarify. That lineup is by no means my wishlist. It's just meant to be a guess, based on PD's proclivities. The only one i would even do is Gr.2 at St Croix.

If I got to set the lineup, it would look like this:

A: Brands Hatch (full course) - One-make - Dodge Challenger R/T 1970
B: Willow Springs Big Willow - One make - Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevy Nova
C: Circuit de la Sarthe No Chicane. - Open Garage N600 limited tuning

I'd have to call in sick to work the whole week. 👍

Never mind, Americans are dirty as well. Next race I get bumped off twice in the final turn, both times Americans, a Huracan and a TT Cup. That turn is simply game over when you have a group behind you. Go on the inside, get punted wide, Go on the outside, get bumped off. Brake early, or try to undercut, get punted. Impossible, plus you get the SR Down each time. -5 SR, to 80.

Lock up your parking brake to create a smokescreen behind you before the braking zone. That should disorient them.

Any word on next weeks rotations? I want to start practicing tonight since I'm not off work until Wednesday.

Yeah I know. Mine's not either.

Somehow I knew Big Willow would be on your wish list. Nova would be fun. Liveries would be so cool.

No. They used to list it on KudosPrime but not anymore unfortunately. It's been 2 weeks now (I think) where we all had to wait till Monday morning.

Took a little break to play some Rocket League with my Bro. Fun Game but not for me, I get dizzy and peeved when I show up to hit the ball its gone :/

Jebers its gets a lil crazy on the weekends. Divebombs all to secure 9th place :/ okay there buddy, no wonder you have no wins lol might do a few C to jump up to S n see how it is, its crazy in B/A

Back in GTS for some Daily B Gr4 action :D

@K3Tuning as a drummer i aprove of your dogs name very much, supreme skinsman. Love pitbulls and have one myself, a mix actually, he is named roofus.....

Yeah I was lucky enough to get to know him as a pup before taking him home & I wanted a name that was, cool, & reflected his personality. Whenever I went to see him he would bark non stop little squeaks lolol Around the same time I had hear news of Travis Barkers plane crash with DJ AM & was thinking "this dude walked out of a crashed plane? Badass!" If anybody deserved having a Pit Named after him its a Dude who walks out of crashed planes and can cross genera bringing some more live instruments into Hip Hop. Respect. Its one of the reasons I think Jay-Z was so successful he had live music from one of the greatest Tony Royster Jr making epic Hip Hop Beats

Roofus, I love it. Pit Bulls with the right homes are truly incredible Dogs

Your enjoying the benefits of being in category B but being a faster driver. Look at the time gaps - they are large from front to back. Mine races have been very tight indeed.

I've only had three races, and the last one, I came 13th, and lost 400 DR. Got a clean award for the race, but since I was already 99 SR, it was pretty meaningless! I drove the Porsche and started in 9th place. I pitted in lap 6 rather than 5 (I led the race for a lap hey hey) but then pitted for fuel, but I left the tyres on. But in the last lap, I was 8th, with a patient queue behind me ... the car behind had wanted to pass for a lap. So I got a slight nudge at Spoon in that last lap and I ran wide and onto the grass, loosing not much in thought - but in fact, I was back to 13th. The cars are tight with lots of fast Japanese at Suzuka! I will try again in the Porsche I guess and I'll have to change the tyres this time as well I guess. Not sure how much extra time that will cost me.

For me not to loose DR points, I'll need better qualifying I reckon. I drove the Audi in the first race and it did not feel as fast in the race as in qualifying. My qualifying is not fast enough either - my 02:00.768 is about 600th best time in Asia. I have recently been around 180 to 300 in qualifying times. On the world times for Suzuka, there are two countries who have more than one car in the top 50 - Poland and Spain. The rest of the world have only one nation's driver in the top 50 - because Japan is dominating - they have 38 in the top 50 drivers!! I need a 2 minute flat time to start around 5th on the grid, and then maybe I'll finish top 8. It's tough at Suzuka for me at the moment, and really, any Aussie in the high B and low A onwards categories must be finding it tough at Suzuka this week. I have learn't though that you can cut the chicane a lot and not be penalised - I looked at the fast qualifiers. But I haven't had time to work a faster way through the chicane yet.
I need to though but I think this week maybe over for me with a significant drop in DR, darn it.
