The Skyline is in my opinion one of the cars where you better set the brake balance more to the front, to get rid of the sliding.
Too much BB at the front may block the front wheels sooner than the rears so front looses traction so more understeer?

Qualified a 1:23.996 at Monza
.6 seconds off the pace. I never thought I'd make it to the Top 5 with that time but ended up 2nd only to a Top 10er

"Maybe it isn't so bad"
...
I missed 4 braking points. Consistently

I'm never doing Monza again.
Monza is a great track in iRacing, RRE, rFactor 2, and PC2, drivers online seem to do well on them. But in GTS, seems drivers are as if they never driven on Monza before or never practice on it, it's chaotic everytime I go on there.

How is it that I get pushed off the track, get a penalty and the guy that pushed me off wins my position after the race finishes because of my penalty

i like this longer interlagos C race. normally I skip it because you have to 0 stop to really be competitive in a 10 lap version of it

Yes with 13 laps everyone is stopping now, lap 7 usually, as you'd expect. Races lasting over 20 minutes and 30 seconds isn't normal but I don't mind it, better than it being shorter and everyone not stopping. :)

The race itself was fine, it's just that I got so inconsistent with the track. Essentially you just described me
I'm really shocked though because I was really consistent with Monza back then. Gr. 1 and 3 I can win races. Maybe the no chicane layout messed up my mind :indiff:

Anybody tried and tested today's C race and managed to do it on 0 stop?
I think, from reading above, it seems you have to stop.

Have not seen one person try it, if someone did try it they were no where near the front, like I must have pitted and come out in front of them.

You'd have to fuel save way too much I reckon, you'd lose too much time and be on useless tyres by the end too, just not worth it.

I did 7 Interlagos races this morning!!
Love this track!
I actually got the best time in Americas server for about 4 hours... hehe while “they” were sleeping

Got pushed out on the first race sent to 12th place but managed to finish 4th...

One other race somebody had beat my qualify and I got the second place, had a interesting fight for the first 5 laps with the 3rd place (was the same guy o pushed me out on the first race) but I got 5 seconds over him in the end...

Won 4 other races and managed to get my Dr back to what it was yesterday before The chaotic Bugatti Nation cup race....

On the last race I did one guy tried the no pit strategy... I was first since the beginning, went to pit on lap 7 to 8 with a 6seconds over 2nd, when I came out of the pit this guy was in first with 1.5 seconds ahead of me, caught him on the grid straight and he tried to block me (3rd was 5.5 seconds behind) and almost took me out on turn1.... I could see on the map he was doing the same to the guys behind for at least two laps... when they passed him the gap was already over 10 seconds... when the eace finished he was 14th....
So, no pit strategy is a bad strategy....

Fixed! I need difficulty harder than Professional. But I'm pessimistic that PD can make it happened while building GTS AI needs years. Other than that AI in GT League is very horrible.

Have you set your cars to BoP?

Interlagos this morning reminded me why everyone complains about B/S races. They are horrendous. I'll stay at B/A thank you.

I have notice (while spectating in lobbies) that people generally do not use radar. How can you possibly have any idea where your opponent is without radar and a rearview mirror? Right analog to look wont help you mid corner...

PD needs to communicate more about dr points. I gained some positions and after the race I got the screen about the great race I drove. But after checking my stats I decreased in DR with 750p (but grey B in the overview at the end of the game). Maybe it should be an idea to show us when dr and sr are changing. Maybe a counter or something. It sucks that PD is telling me that I drove a great race but my stats are decreased..

I guess they don't care because it always the other person's fault in their opinion. Radar needs to be separate and forced on, I didn't even know it existed for a while. Not that this will solve everything but if just a few realise they should use it then that is an improvement.

... I've noticed the cars always seem to handle differently during the race compared to qualifying...

I thought it was just me imagining things. I think the cars do handle differently in the race compared to qualifying. I was qualifying for a race at Suzuka the other day (I forget which one) and when it came to the actual race, it felt like my car was under-steering much more through the S curves and I wasn't able to carry the same speed as in qualifying or turn in as well. I've experienced the same thing on other track as well.

I am starting around 9-13th position against and A/S drivers, and I'm gaining positions each race, it has gone up by looking at my stats on Kudos, I am very close to A now. I could do another qualifying lap for a faster time but I'd rather start in middle.

The goal of the game is to race, not "level" up. DR is representing your race pace. Just enjoy DR:B and if you eventually move up to A great. If not, so what?

People need to stop with the DR hunting. Not everybody is fast enough to be a DR:B, A or S, no matter what you might think.

I never use the radar and always know where other racers are in relation to my car.

Using bumper cam. Between the rear view mirror and shadow indicators there is no need. I maintain an S rating with little difficulty and have no issues avoiding contact unless the other driver is a rammer.

Aaaand, I did pick the Lexus in the end! :D
Usually I'm 2secs behind the Top10 Guys, but today, I managed 1.5secs. As a Controller guy, this is huge (IMO) :O
In two races, I haven't seen a single Lexus, but one fast guy in a GTR in front of me. The rest seem to pick M6 and 911s

And I did meet @Nuschel01 again at Interlagos. Even though he was behind me this time and we didn't really meet on track. But the race was awesome! Lots of fair fights. I wish I had more time to do another one....:(

I use bumper cam also, but I use the radar when there are people in either my blind spots or on my side during a corner when I lose sight of them
The reason i brought it up is that I seemed to me that when people would bump me mid corner it was when I was not in thier direct view. They then didn't realize they gave me no room and actually ran into me not the other way around.
It obviously is not the entire issue. I just rely on radar every now and then and it helps me prevent wrecks and keep wide in a corner that I otherwise would not

The race in the back was terrible, but maybe because I couldn‘t find a line and held everyone up
Tried the Corvette, the Atenza and the Lexus in races and also the M6, the AMG GT and the Aston in qualy but damn I hate that track :boggled:

Hi!
I believe tire wear and gas consumption are always off for qualifying laps (except FIA races' qualifying cession). During the race, with tire wear grip level might be significantly lower.

Does anyone just back out when they get into a race with a red bar? One guy just wiped out everyone else absolute joke

They are nothing but trouble in every race I’ve been in. Why PD won’t set some standards is beyond me.

So I wasn't dreaming of it...I qualified 5th in Monza with my Alpine VGT, then couldn't keep it on the road during the race. Somehow glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing this...
