Daily B is a M4 cup, all top10 are M4s

Last time the gr4 was here I tried the Lambo for a couple of races but then switched to the said car and it is easily half a second a lap faster than the Lambo, which in turn is probably faster than at least half of the remaining cars.

Is it just me that isn't a fan of the M4?
I've started to like it, the handling is fun, I might even go the whole hog and make a livery for mine. But I won't be taking any scapes photos of it any time soon.

I tried it and no doubt my qualifying times were marginally quicker, but I didn't like driving it... yes it feels rapid out of corners but I found it a bit unstable and didn't enjoy driving it as much as other cars.

You need to try the 458. Awsome Gr4 car and one I've been using the past few weeks. Nobody uses it.

I bought an M4 just because everyone else is using it so might as well even out the competition right? Such a shame as there are so many other great cars.

I decided to sign with Ferrari for this FIA season. The GR4 can be competitive but it lacks top end. Very fun to drive.

The GR3 is a handful but when you get the hang of it, you can put down some fast times.

You definitely don’t see too many Ferrari’s bing used and I think it’s because they are so different to drive. I’m gonna stick with them for a while.

As expected Bathurst is a mess and at Brands Hatch others keep running you off down the straights and then rearending you in the corners :banghead:

why oh why did I enter the daily C bathurst race? I had a nightmare, lost DR points, lost consecutive clean races, lost pride.

The M6/Aston/AMG is the car to use there, my poor little porker is like a slow fat toad.

And who put superglue or rare earth magnets on that blue bit of wall at the bottom of the single lane bit? I touched it slightly and omg it wouldn't let go of my car even rotating me into it more:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

The trick with the 458 Gr4 is to have faith in the grip on corner exit. You can apply the power very early and in the longer races it's great on fuel and tyres to.

I still qualify well with it but the M4 has the edge over 1 flying lap possibly. I'm sticking with the 458 gr4 and FT1 gr3. Both are very competitive.

Can't drive the 458 Gr3 for **** lol

Bathhurst AND Brands, the day after Interlagos? I may skip racing tonight.... Maybe just x1 go of Bathhurst, maybe.

Hi all. Had the game about a week now. Really love it! My driver rating is currently C.

My question is can your DR actually go down if you keep finishing at the back or have bad races?

Not sure whether this needs its own thread or not but is related to daily races.

Anyone else noticing that you get randomly disconnected even when having decent Internet?
This happened to me literally 10 minutes ago and I was matched with my friend who showed me a screenshot of the lobby and everyone had disconnected. Could the servers already be starting to have issues?

It happens to me 4-5 times a week, sometimes more. Most recently I got disconnected twice in one day. Both during FIA events.

Happened to me only once so far. I'm a "C" driver so I really don't have that much DR to lose, but it would suck for A/B drivers

I had some few more races at Bathurst and Brands Hatch and in 3 of them the same swiss driver kept sweeping other drivers next to him off track. I was so annyoned by him also being really slow and in my way that I accidentally sent him in the barriers in the corner before the long straight at Bathurst  And I honestly missed my braking point a little and that guy braked waaaay to early.
My last race at BH was actually quite good, had a 2.5 lap long battle with an M4 (me in the GTR) when some douchebag italian driver decided it‘s time for surprise butt*** which then also sent me into the guy I was battling. He got a 5 seconds penalty, the crasher didn‘t get anything and I still received a clean race bonus...

I‘m excited for tomorrow if there a) will be the update and b) what morons I come across next :)

the last updated happened Thursday night I believe, we'll see what happens this week, I'm sure news will come out soon enough.

So the daily races today aren't great, huh? Bathurst (how do you say that? bat-hurst or ba-thirst?) and brands hatch are fun technical tracks, separates the men from the D drivers

But surely he would do it throughout the race and not just before the finish line when he was sure to get 3rd place??

I think he must be drunk

It makes sense if he's just trying to win races. Try your best, can't win, bail out at the finish to make the next race easier. Finishing in 3rd will make the next race harder. Only wins count for the achievement, podium finishes make winning harder. If you're not first, you're last. That's how it works in game logic! My driver even looks utterly disappointed with me after an excellent clean race, moving up a bunch of places from last in a very tough room, gaining DR while finishing mid pack. Just skip the end scene, I can't stand my mopey driver anymore!

Actually no cheater... this game is broken!!🤬

I thought I was blocking back markers from holding me up... actually was fighting for position!!
:banghead::banghead:

I thought I was fighting for 3rd, but actually I was fighting for 5th... guy in front and behind showed as back markers... I block the guy behind thinking he was a back marker trying to interfere with the race... turns out this guy wasn’t at all and was fighting for position..

Try to message the guy an apologise and he has messages from non-friends blocked....:grumpy:

Ref Bathurst;
why is tyre wear so extreme in Sport mode? I did a half hour practice on the same track with the same rules and I could manage the tyres... but in Sport mode I was instantly 2 seconds a lap slower out of the pits having not changed tyres...

That but-hurt race was impossible without a pit for fuel, I figured the pit takes so long that I might as well get tires too while I was in. Sounds like I made the right choice.

I use it too, since day one. I love MR Cars. The mid corner rotation is superior to all other cars.

Updated with screens from my replay... I think tyres are a must having looked at the state of everyone else’s... but as you can see, the game totally screwed up people’s positions on my screen... until we cross the line...

The trick with the 458 Gr3 is that you must „steer“ it more with your Throttle and brake inputs. Actually I almost don’t use much steering with the wheel itself, it’s weird but once you get the hang on it, it’s a blast to drive.

And sometimes you have to be on both to keep it from spinning. The hairpin after the huge downhill at Maggiore is a perfect example. If you wait until exit to get on the gas you’ll spin.

I had the day off today so did some races during the day which seemed to make a difference, kids at school for a start, but also seemed to be matched with some equal competition for a change (I'm a low B but always seem to be at the back of the grid). Still a few rough folk at Brands, mainly the Megane drivers who seem to bash into you at every chance.

First race I seemed to just get caught up having to defend my position and ended up mid pack. Queue another qually session and I managed to get closer to the top and converted it into a solid 3rd.

Then had a fantastic race at Bathurst. I qualified 8th but found myself in 2nd by the half way point thanks to a bit of pace and other's mistakes. The GT-R is good on fuel and I found myself exiting the pits right on the leader's tail. That's where my talent ran out. Even on fresh rubber he was gapping me half a second a lap easily.

Add in bit of a mistake and a wall clatter and I'd dropped back by 4 secs. However going into the latter half of the last lap he'd either made a mistake or had dialed back the fuel as I was catching and finished only 2 secs behind (oh for another lap!).

Races like that restore your faith in the system. Just a shame they're few and far between.
