I think we start this race with 15x tire wear. Seriously though this car is a handful. I've found entering the corners a little slower than normal and slowly apply the throttle out helps. The sports soft tires on this car break loose easily if you try to get on the gas too soon. Also, allow more distance for braking on the long straights or you'll just understeer off track.

Using my DS4 as I couldn't be bothered setting the wheel up, I added CSA during qualifying after about 6 laps as the car was a handful. I immediately went quicker by 2+ seconds. It made for a less fraught race using CSA. I felt dirty, but it was a no brainer for a pig of a car!

Brands Hatch is usually a bit of a crash fest.....how is it looking today....C S

I love this track its always a good & clean race for me. Maybe because I practiced the hell out of it lol. But yeah, i ran into one loser, i could take over him, but he kept braking in front of me so i could crash... but he just couldnt **** with me, he ended up in the grass & me in the 3rd place lol :D

Oh yeah and it was on C-B.. just started taking more seriously the daily races

God 15x tyre wear is tough if you get involved in any battles at the start. Not many are pitting, so those last few laps are somewhat of a drifty mess unless you managed to conserve rubber early doors! Hard work on Brands!

15x tire wear? On Brands hatch? I’m going to be ending up in the grass during those butt clenching turns!

Yep a few of the faster corners start to become challenging, I have been gradually moving the brake balance from +4 back to neutral (along with increasing TCS) as the race reaches the latter stages. The left rear gets eaten up!

Did a couple Gr.3 Brands Hatch races, first race was matched with really good players that are probably out of my league right now. Not sure why I was matched with them. Started 8th finished 9th I kept screwing up. Second race started second and finished second, was surprised a few of the guys didn't pit, including guy in first. Tire wear didn't bother me but I did pit lap 5. It probably is pretty doable to not pit as long as you have TC to like 2.

Well you can go to the pit and do a tyre change if you want, its not as bad as it first seems. :) but yeah if you dont... things can go rough :D

Jesus christ does this Toyota in the B race even have brakes installed!?

Right?! Lol

Did some more BH races just now, boy the night crowd is different than the afternoon crowd, I just had a couple really bad races that knocked my DR down a bit- they were a constant bumper fest.

That car is horrible!!

Omg the ft is horrendous. I’m cool with never using it again
I was thinking the same during the first laps. Used to drive Gr4 on this track, but of course the FT is a little lower in spec.
But actually, it is a pretty good car to practice handling oversteer!!!
You can do some cool catches in the fast as well in the slow corners!
I had an incredible one, going almost sideways out of the S-part. Too bad, no replay.
You can really feel the (wide) limit on this car as opposed to many Gr4.
Took me about 50 laps to get used to it, still way to improve, but somehow satisfying.
About 30 laps in, I was thinking and checking: Have I turned on TCS by accident?
No, I just had gotten really careful with the throttle! Just automatic - by practicing.

FT-1 was fun to drive. Just about the right amount of challenge and very rewarding. Too bad my best lap came just as matchmaking started and didn't count.

Argh hate that. I didn't brave a race in the end... managed to get my Q time to within about 5 seconds of top 10 but couldn't get any better than that.

Managed to get a 47.6xx on Miyabi which I was pretty pleased with though.

Well, I only did one race just to get my daily work-out done, but the first corner for my rank of B/(low SR-B) wasn't chaotic at all, managed to get through the first corner with-out getting dive bomb from the guys in P2 and P3.
P3 (Toyota TS050) was even able to lead the race before running wide on the last corner before the start-finish line handing the lead to me.
* Tire wear x12 doesn't seem to affect the Group 1 that much, was able to finish the race with-out changing tires, just needed a splash of fuel.
@bmxmitch - I guess it's the luck of the draw on who you get matched with

Presume race c is Gr. 1 and 2 laps on Nordschleife then.

What are the other races?

Race C - Group 1 in Nurburgring GP track and its 12laps, x6 Fuel Consumption and x12 Tire Wear
Race A is a one make series in Dragons trail using the Peugeot 208
Race B is a Group 4 race (forgot the race track though)

Cheers.

Ohhhhh, on Nurb GP! I saw 12 laps and panicked for a minute
