I really enjoyed GR. 3 at Yamagiwa today.
Very clean B/S.
Managed to climb few up in every race, though I haven't won.
I don't remember when last time I have played for 5 hours straight.

I think its one of the few tracks that you can have fun online, most of the times, the track is wide enough it doesnt feel crowded with 20 cars, unlike Panorama or Interlagos, I like these tracks but you cant just have a clean race on those, most of the time i see more than 10 drivers with -SR at the end of the race.

wow, thats super fast!

I went on just now and got into the 1.39's which was 2.5 secs faster than this morning. Had a few pole starts, and ultimately a win off the back of that qually

really enjoys todays race

Just watched your lap
Very nice in turns 1 and 2, I'm defo losing time there. Turn 4 is a bit iffy for me as its definitely 4 wheels off the track, but if the game allows it, so be it. I dont go looking for those corners and keep it 'honest' if you will, but you carry so much more speed through that corner, theres another chunk of time there
very tidy driving mind, lovely to watch

My best lap for the daily race in Maggiore ! Using the Mazda VGT. Maybe the Porsche is fastest but I don't have it, I can't test. 1'36 is way possible !

Great lap! I think whilst the Mazda is fastest over 1 lap the Porsche gets such a good start and first sector it's impossible to get away from them and most likely be passed by at least 1 of them going into Turn 1

Nice lap, a 36 is definitely possible, possibly even a high 35

Yeah I think overall the Porsche will perform better over a race, although I prefer the Mazda in feel. Acceleration out of corners in the Porsche is nuts!

My mind is 50/50 about this driving style, actually it's the 1st time I cut that turn in a daily race, I think when you feel you can reach Top 10 you try everything possible ! But I would prefer if the game could penalize that cut.

Yes, but if you focus on your own racing pace, you can catch them on sector 2-3 and overtake them on the turn after the downhill !

Exactly, it's quite easy to spin the Porsche in the first sector on fresh tyres nevermind after 6 laps of tyre wear. You can get on full power on exit in the Mazda almost straightaway

Had some really good races @ Interlaogs last night. My best finish was 2nd in the GR4 458. just 1 or 2 dirty drivers but overall respectable fun group

A lot of dirty drivers today at interlagos. Went from SB A to SB D. I’m done for today.

Is it my imagination or is it in particular those drivers that enter the room with a "drive clean pass clean" message that end up bumping you in every corner...

I did a couple of races on Suzuka, won one by fluke of getting pole position. It was generally clean apart from that one "drive clean pass clean" driver starting trouble. I'll switch to Kyoto when I have more time to race. I like that fast pit stop.
I've thought this for a long time, seems to happen regularly - obviously they only intend the message for everyone else!

Happened to me again today at Interlagos - the message came up before the start, sure enough he was the guy who knocked me off the track (twice!). :grumpy:

It kinda speaks for itself that we want a clean race doesnt it ? Maybe the guys posting it are doing so because they get caught in allot of accidents and maybe, just maybe, they should have a look at their own driving instead of telling others to keep it clean.

All i know is i am always wary of people posting these messages

The yellow flag struck again on daily A, lost 4 positions for going around an accident in the last corner. Lose time avoiding the wreck, get another +5 as a reward. My isp struck twice too already today, random cut outs. 4000 DR down so far, I guess I have easier races to look forward too :)

The Toyota 2000gt is a lot more fun against N1000 cars in GT League, not very exciting at A/S driving 5 short laps in a hardly changing parade. Normally I do a couple daily B races in between stuff until I have enough time to concentrate on the daily C race, however a sprint race at Interlagos, no thanks.

So far I have done Race A and C.

Still in love with the 2000GT. Had some close races this morning with S/S drivers. It’s such a momentum car.

Went in blind on Race C and was able to get 4th after spinning out on T2 on lap 7. Can’t wait to experiment more with the pit strategy and fuel mapping.

I knew it was you :gtplanet:

I watched the replay and the player waited for to give back his position. Fair but not very smart indeed.

Was on a 1:36 lap at Maggiore and spoiled it on the last sector. Still saved it for a 1:37:188.

The Mazda has so much understeer it's not even funny. :/

@IAMDOODLEBUG high 35 is impossible IMO. High 36 yes, but freaking hard. :)

Your typical Gr.4 divebombing fest on Interlagos, people can't pass each on other on that track(fast B+/A/S) drivers so many of them divebombing turns to gain a spot or two. Besides that, PD needs to give 35hp boost to every car besides the Megane, M4 and Vantage which are dominating everyone still on every track. I catch up through turns and lose everyone on straights by a lot. Gr.4 cars are way too underpowered.

I do that too when I happen to mess up eventually, never realized you screw other people that way if it's a yellow flag situation. Damned if you do etc. PD should just get rid of the time penalty with yellow flags. I have not seen one instance where it had a positive effect.

The GR.1 race is interesting.

Unless you're the king of tyre management, you need to pit. The different cars have very different characteristics. The Porsche's acceleration is hard to counter and brings with it the issue of people using it responsibly - I lost two positions to drivers who couldn't really handle the power and nerfed me off in their excitement. 12 laps is very difficult to string together clean and consistent. I bowed out after a couple of races. I need more practice.

lol saw the guy behind me write that too on Interlagos this morning, at the start of the race there were 3 of us entering the first turn and the guy that wanted a clean race came up from behind me shoves himself between me and another car causing me to hit the pit wall and cut the inside giving me a ~5 second penalty, thanks Bubba!

Zzz kudos to your time on Magi, I can't work out what I am doing any different to the top 919 lap (1.37.3, 3rd place compared to your 1.37.1 in the Mazda) but I am 1.38.5 at the moment and it's doing my nut!

Yeah I had quite a bit of fun laping the Mazda around Maggiore. :) I don't like the understeer but at least the rear is stable. The Audi is faster out of the corners but harder to drive on the limit without aids. It also brakes better I think.

Meanwhile, went to my secondary account and set the fastest time in the Americas too ^^ because why not.

Guys, if I race any of you in A or B today. My handle is Satomiblood. My apologies if I’ve bumped you. I’m trying to be more assertive. And as you can probably tell, my ratings have plunged resulting from that.

Question: If you race in Nations Cup/Manufacturers Cup before the Top 24 Superstars race on the same day, do your points count towards the possibility of entering the Top 24 Superstars race?

It's strange how much the track limit penalties differ between tracks. Maggiore is extremely lenient, while for instance Monza is very strict.
