How did the Toyota behind you get into this Mazda One Make race!? Must be a cheater ;)

btw do you alter the FFB settings for Gr. 1 / Mazda? I tried the Mazda exactly on the Interlagos track a few days ago and noticed that especially on the very light left bend on the start/finish straight I had FFB effects that made the car jump more than 1m to to left (because the FFB effect made the wheel move so much). I have it set to 3 / 9 btw.

Haha, true :D

I have 3/5 since i have started and this feeling only in tomahawk on nordschleife :D

I'm having a weird issue, I tried to do the Interlagos race and bought the Mazda LM55 to give that a go, however when I go to start qualifying and pick a car the Mazda is not available but I own it (top of the screen 1st image) 2nd image shows the cars that are available. Any ideas, I have restarted the game twice and restored licenses?

I did the samething :) 2 million on 1 car, Nooooooo... lol

Are you guys sure you got the
"Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo Gr.1"
not the
"Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo"?

...I see this has already been answered.
But it is stupid nonetheless, looks same, sounds almost the same, but different car. I'd be pretty pissed if I was low on credits and then got the wrong car because of that.

thanks I will try that!

Daily Race C - Group 1 at Interlagos (x6 fuel and x13 tire wear) for 12laps
Daily Race B - Group 3 at Nurburgring GP for 4laps
Daily Race A - Atenza Sedan at Big Willow for 4laps

Looking forward to A. Big Willow is a fun course. I also tend to do better as far as placement is concerned.

Gone from SR C to SR B, I’m sure C was for clean and B is for bastards. The 2 C races were clean as you like, no bumping, picked up my SR and get back to B class and they’re ramming all over the place!

Edit: back down to C and clean racing again, 2nd place and I’ll call it a night for today

His first move while not very sporting would generally be looked at as acceptable in many racing leagues. He was exiting a corner and reestablishing his line which is independent from his initial move to the left pre-apex. He made one move on that straight albeit late. That's a very fine judgement call that would be in the eyes of the race steward and their leniency.

His second attempt to slow your advance up the podium was downright nasty and dirty any way that you look at it. Glad you got around him without any further incident.

I have noticed the same. Maybe we have just been slow to adapt to the SR manipulation.

What? That was clearly an intentional forcing off track, there is 0 need to take that little bend that wide at the slow speed he was driving at.

Completely agree, no need to go wide at that bend, even with the sports tyres at 500 km/h you could take that corner on the inside and keep inside easily. Also this is not the racing line at all, the line is on the left. You'd only go on the right defending your position - if you are ahead, not when you have someone next to you!
And don't agree at all that you can choose your line as you wish if the other car is beside you.
I'd say his maneuver would be OK if he was still ahead (no one beside him) at that time and if he'd then have stayed to the right. But not like this.

Same here. Have been enjoying the C/C class races on my 2nd account far more than the B/S races on my primary account. Sure there are a few idiots in C/C, but I think it's mostly due to be slightly inexperienced. I made B/C earlier today, so time to tank my DR and get back to C!

B/S classes are just plain dirty, 8/10. It's that must win and pass at any opportunity mentality that ruins races.

B/S is most definitely a good acronym!

I'm achieving a few wins on today's C race by just following a fast opponent and not passing until he is pits. Then it's just a matter controlling the fuel until the end of the race...

Figured slipstream and short shifting has a bigger impact on fuel consumption than adjusting the fuel map!

Using the Mazda by the way.

The only time the opponent did not pit, another Mazda, he started managing fuel with 2 laps to finish, so I went all out and won comfortably with almost another lap of fuel left in the tank :p

It's being fun...

Let me know how the Lexus treated you then ;)

 Thank you @bmxmitch... I loved the RC-F!

Started with the 911 and after 7 or 8 laps managed to set a qualifying time of 1.59.8xx which I think was about my limit. I switched to the Lexus and my first lap was a 1.58.8xx! So I did a few more laps and got it down to 1.53.3xx and entered a race... started 10th and finished 6th. Entered another race and did some more qualifying laps, then managed a 1.53.1xx and two subsequent 1.53.3s. Next race started 6th and came 4th, third race started 6th and came 5th :)

The difference between the Leuxs and the Porsche is how quick it is off the mark and it's tight turning. Where the Porsche is slow to accelerate with its massive 1st gear and turns wide unless basically crawling, the Lexus can turn in sharply and shoots off as soon you get on the power. I made two passes by being able to take a tight inside line on a corner and then getting on the throttle faster and harder than the Porsches which felt awesome.

I have to also say that the racing was awesome last night (DR/B SR/A - but including DR/A and SR/S)... I was amongst a pack of 4 or 5 cars mostly, nose to tail within a .3-.5 seconds of each other all braking at the correct time and allowing each other space to take corners and not barging or pushing.

EDIT: Anywhere I have written 1.53 it should say 1.58!!!

Race C - group 4 at dragons trail @10laps (x6 fuel and x10 tire wear)
Race B - One make race @Yamigawa (Fittipaldi EF7) - 4laps
Race A - One make race @Northern Isle (Atenza Sedan) - 10laps

Thanks. B and C tonight then :)

A 1.53.1xx at Nurburgring:eek: it is really fast. Can you share the hot lap video?

Agree on both points :). I enjoyed the last Fittipaldi race, but that was also on Yamagiwa wasn't it?
Yeah, weird. But still better than it being at alsace or willow springs

For sure... I like the track though, so happy with that.

Also pleased that I will get to whip the Lambo out on Dragon Trail tonight :)
