Is anything other than the M4 worth trying for race C? The top 10 is 9 of those and one Genesis!
Well, you can be a turtle in a 458 Italia, so I guess it's as fuel efficient as the M4, and in terms of raw pace is just a notch below it. I'd say give it a try :)

Race 3 was horrible, crashes everywhere and people pushing me off track instead of letting me slipstream past 🤬 Got denoted to SR79 which put me into pole for the next race tho  Won that by a mile as everyone else but me pitted :O Victory #23 :gtpflag:

Tokyo is an sr nightmare cos everyone goes about 3-6 wide into t1
Also the Peugeot is the car of choice all of a sudden which is cool
Manage to win one bottle one and get really angry at the 3 races I’ve done so far
But racking in the pole positions with a 1:58.481 getting closer to the Senna trophy, on 57 atm

Terrific. Race C. A train of short-shifting corner-coasting no-stoppping fuel-glitch-exploiting M4s finishing essentially in exactly the order they started in.

The Real Driving Simulator indeed.

This has ruined Gr.4 for at least 2 months now, it was even worse when certain drivers were using the tyre refresh glitch, as well as the M4 fuel glitch! Come on PD, sort it out.

Yep it‘s the way to go

EDIT: Finally made it into S/S 👍

Love how the BMWs can short shift to make the complete race, and I'm probably gonna have to short shift just so I can make it to the half way point. Smh. Gr4 has been crap ever since they regulated the fuel size...

Might jump i my Aston Martin
I wouldn't recommend the Aston for Suzuka. It's a handling circuit, Aston is a stability/power car, imo.

👍 Good advice. 458 is pretty quick around Suzuka :)

Knew you must have been close! Keep bumping into you on track

Managed a 2:00.497 on Race B with a Corvette :D

I hate you! :p

The best I could muster for qualifying was 2:13.???. It's been a while since I took the GR4 'vette for a spin...and spin was what I was doing! When I got a bit wayward it was far more prone to spin out, especially if you went a bit wide and found a rear wheel on the astro turf.

Suzuka x2 for me. Both grids a couple of DR/As, 6 Bs and the rest Ds. Mostly M4s for the first race, and a nice mix for the second race. Pretty clean races. No SR penalties but I did pick up a 2 second penalty on the first race. Due to various mishaps, including respawns on the racing line. While I was still a ghost I pulled over so I was out of the way when I became solid and still managed to get shafted.

Started 10th and finished 16th and 15th. As Alpha Cipher shows, the 'vette can to the job, but not for me .

edit: Just realised the 2:00.497 was Race B not the race C I did.

Oh I'm talking about the Tokyo Expressway race :)
Trust me, I'd also love a 2:00 time on Suzuka with Gr. 4  my time there is a 2:08.3xx on an M4 pls no flame

Taken a few months, but finally my first GT Sport rant....

Might aswell make Race C a one make M4 race.

Got the WRX into the 2:09s in first quali attempt, useless on track (actually goes through the 'S's' pretty well), can't even race with the 'pick people off with penalties' tactics as they make up all that time and more at the pit stop.

This game is really REALLY starting to suck donkey balls - easily the worst game in the GT series. At least GT5 and 6 had the 'excuse' of a poor platform - no excuse for that with the PS4.

Big thank you the guy who took his penalty after the bridge before hairpin by slamming on the brakes on the racing line, causing carnage for me and the other guy right behind him. After managing to pick off a few of the slower M4 drivers, then had to pull over and let them all back through as the penalty guy decided to take racing line out of hairpin (when I had avoided him by running wide line), only for him to come into me and I get the penalty :banghead:

As the Duke said in Layer Cake - (this game) could give a paracetamol a headache....

Luckily the makers of BF1 have given us multiple ways to batter people with an array of horrific weapons and household items - think I'll take the shovel today  👍

5 races at Interlagos yesterday.

First race was fine. Start d 10th in an all S/S A/S room. Finished 5th with a clean race bonus. Then the matchmaking goes to ****. The rest of the races were me,an S/S, and a couple other A/S with the rest B/S -D/S (mostly D/S) which meant dive bombs, extremely early braking and opponents immune to the penalties I was receiving from contact.

Never again.

Mine is a 2:13.something

Anyways, tried two Suzukas with the McL, with my terrible quali time I always started way behind, but I always managed to improve my starting position a LOT (16th to 10th, 18th to 13th), so somehow now I'm B/B. Gonna give the Huracan a spin and see how it goes.

Race B is unbelievably fun, especially if you have a good qualifying time. I don't think pole has ever made it into turn 1 in the lead.
I can attest to that notion  I'm surprised my stats are still B/A (alt acc) after all that carnage

I like how you try different cars
@Alpha Cipher 2:08.368
You are currently the 25th fastest. I can’t believe you was not within 2:09 before today.
You're turning me red :O you're not all far off with your time either

My hard work at Suzuka was cancelled out by a disconnection :banghead: Oh PD

Just managed to pull out a 2:12.229 with the Huracan, not a bad improvement I'd say  and thanks! I try them because I don't really care about being competitive, I know that I can't as of now, so might as well drive what I like rather than what is meta

Way too early by *your* standards, but everyone has their own limits. You are correct about the penalties however. I have noticed from comments being made here that the higher levels seem to be copping pretty hefty SR penalties. Before the update, every one was penalised for contact. Since then I've had races where I've been unaffected by people rear ending me, or if I've stuffed up and made minor contact. It's no excuse to not bother avoiding contact, but there is a little leeway. It's like S/A are professionals, C/D are amateurs. The higher levels are penalised more harshly because they are expected to drive to a higher standard.

I know that feeling all too well
I believe you can take that lost DR back though, especially with the amount of DR you gain per race looking at the graph :)

Big improvement! I'd take almost a second's worth of improvement any day :D good mindset, as long as you have fun

Edit: Just did a 2:08.084 and aRGH IT'S KILLING ME! It's been like this last time too (2:09.09x) :grumpy:
Edit 2: I can finally rest in peace =w= (2:07.762). Hopefully this will net me poles 90% of the time :)

Very bad Suzuka with the Huracan...started 5th thanks to the new PB, was 3rd by the end of lap 1 (courtesy of a TT and another Huracan taking each other out), then on lap 2 I completely messed up Spoon 2. Ended on the green curb, which unlike with the McL, totally unbalanced the bull, so I ended on the wall and 11th when back on track. Then it was mainly carnage, with a british TT, an italian Lambo and a german GTR all over the place. All three of them quit before the end. Finished 10th...feels bad to end today's racing like that, but I have to go out this evening :(

Another race at Suzuka, and it was pretty well organized until the third lap, where I made a slip-up and got relegated to third. First place then slips up and gets relegated to second. I overtake him immediately, only for him to squeeze in on a 1-inch gap and push me wide on the esses. He slipped up again, this time big time, and got last place. I got the win

Karma 🤬

Got Robbed of 2 wins today. Didn't register. Total 3 wins didn't register till now. Would have reached 46 wins in f they counted.

Can anything keep up with the Peugeot in the group 3 race?
Tried a few cars always get passed down the long straight :\
Going to take out the Renault R.S.01 for the next race. [edit that Renault is too slow on the straight]
Going to try the Mustang?
