May I know if FL contributes to DR. Raced 2 times at race c, both started at 3rd ended at 6th and 7th. Checked on kudos DR increased over 1000:confused:

I should be happy right now:D

Edit: just do another couple of qualifying laps. PB 1:37:855:gtpflag:

Just did race B. Yegads! It was a less Speed Racer and more Initial D! Not sure if I gained any points, but I didn't get that final SR point back .

No, FL doesn't help DR.

Very loosely, if you finish top half you will gain DR and bottom half you will lose DR. So, finishing 6th and 7th in a 20 car race is a good result as you have beaten 13 and 14 other drivers (despite losing to 5 and 6) so you will gain a good amount of points.

@Robben thanks for your answer.

Though top ten was brand mixed. Half of the grid was M4.:boggled:

Unimaginable! Can't you take your PS4 with you?

You know those laggy red bar guys that ruin everyones races? That would be me. I work on a gas rig. I’ve got Gran Turismo PSP on my vita so that’ll keep me occupied

Oh.

I guess it's swings and roundabouts though as you get extended time off as well?

Hence playing all day whilst the rest of us are at work?!

Yes that’s the upside. Previously working Monday-Friday sucked because I’d only get about an hour a night on the PS4, and little time at weekends because I’d want to spend time with my partner and daughter.

2 weeks on/off is wayyyy better.

Kart race was carnage, I qualifed 11th as I wasn't lucky with slipstreaming to a better time and then quickly went up to P7 and stayed in the group of P1 only to being crashed off in L5 oin the chicane. From there on it was just a terrible race with unskilled drivers that didn't understand teamwork drafting and some driving errors that were my own fault
@_ApexPredator was in the same boat :indiff:
and that boat was taking on water, quickly! :odd:

I've cued it at the start of the race, but the qualifying session is there too, if anyone is interested :)

Pretty much the same mate  I get from 7pm (when daughter goes to bed) to 9pm (when missus wants to go to bed) to play...

Didn‘t watch it yet but your thoughts on what happened to me at L5(?)? :D my fault?

Well, I figured out why I was struggling at Lago Maggiore yesterday. It's a more fundamental problem than I realized and it's one I'm not happy about.

Long story short, my strength has always been throttle control. Ask me to add and hold 80% throttle and I'll hit it just about every time.

Except in GT Sport.

It was only when I was really paying attention to the throttle bar in-game when I realized that my foot and mind says I'm adding more throttle than what the game was registering. A quick search and I found:

Sure enough, I practiced only my gas pedal and hitting anything over 50% throttle proved a frustrating and almost impossible exercise. In other words, my style of driving has been crippled and I'm either going to have to change it entirely or cross my fingers that my super old pedal set works and somehow gives me linear control.

Can't overstate how disappointed I am about this.

let me boot the replay up...

Yeah it looks like just a mistake? leaving everyone plenty of room but just a little too much throttle through that final chicane - Kombat had his own spin a few seconds earlier and I couldn't see anyone affected by yours - so yeah your fault, but no harm :D

Interesting, indeed. I'll test this evening. Plus I have the same pedals.

Probably just afraid of crashing anyone off. I hit the kerbs too hard too often. Still from there on it went downwards :(

Drove race c a few times but was starting outside top 10 so ended up losing 1800 Dr points. Probably my last day as Dr S unless I can pull something out of the bag for my next race - currently Dr 50008 !! However it won't be interlagos again today 🤬🤬

Interlagos Last Turn:
Can someone coach me?
Do you go trough it on the throttle or down shift and then get on the throttle as you go out ?
I'm strong at this track but this last turn is a pain. Im so afraid to go white and spin out ...

Any pointers ?

Probably, Atenza's all over.
But I'm on weaker side

This morning, very soon as new dailies become alive, I have raced three B races and everything went good.

Repeating on and on... will make perfection... :) Until you got the feeling! (I think!! :) )

I brake between where the grass changes from dark to light and the 50 meter board on the right. Down shift and start to pick the throttle steadily up on the apex.

That's a very rough generalisation of how I do it but it does vary according to car. Make sure your speed is always consistant coming out of the long left hander before the last corner. If your speed is different every lap, your entry speed for the last corner, and your braking points will change every lap.

I'm DR:A so I'm sure someone could advise you on a quicker method.

I had really fantastic race at Interlagos!

Being intentionally pushed by black Huracan (after race I'm looking replay also) at very beginning, but there was great comeback that resulted with most fantastic duels I had so far in GTS!

If you are interested, it starts at 7:15min (not 17, my mistake)

Usually don't play ONE MAKES but this time decided to give it a try (since yesterday) with the Civic and after frustrating 15 minutes until I get used to the FF (big time MR/FR fan here) I must say the car felt really good - it is slow compared to GR3/4 but I find it interesting changing the pace and playing with the slower cars - so today's Yamagiwa race and yesterdays' Suzuka were really fun :)
