Start from pole --> get punted in the first corner --> fight back through the pack --> get punted again on the last lap --> ragequit. There's my racing today in a nutshell.

I'm on SR B right now... Haven't turned on the PS4 for today yet... Let me just sit down with my DR A for the moment and figure out how to accept that I'll lose it on the Nurb :)

Well well, did another 2 races, with everyone SR B, CLEAN RACES, of course it helps when you on the 5th corner is ahead by 2 seconds. The other 2 races i had people up my ass from the get go just a question of impatience before they would make a move :)
 
Are you 🤬 kidding me today's selection is pretty dam good to say the least, I would be spending hours today around the ring and brands hatch.
But wait..... My T500 won't work and there is no way I'm going to enter either with a controller as my
S / S rank will turn to 🤬.

My like is not really a "like", it is more of an "I feel your pain".
To those having sound issues, is your game digital or on disc?
Digital. It is a degrading of the game, first few races are normal, than cursor sounds disappear, than tire sounds. Don't know what else, restart of the game resets the issues.

Great, internet down in my area...

And of course today has some great races, including the FIA races, and I have to watch the rain outside :(
 
Really like gr4 cars round nurb, I can actually stay on! However, I just got red SR after only one small collision with the back of another car at the start. Has it been made more difficult to gain SR now?
 
Nurb is awesome with GR4 really gonna enjoy that later. Not really done many laps at all of the nurb, probably like 10 so don’t know it very well at all especially where to push. Got two laps in this morning managed a 7.18 so not exactly worrying the top 10! But still relatively happy with that for only two laps, have a feeling I will be hot lapping there for hours later!!
 
Had times on all three top 10 boards around 11.30 this morning. After the dross of yesterday al 3 are good today.

The RX7 is proper slippery!
 
Just did Race B. Come hell or high water I was gonna run the ring! Sadly didn't have enough time to finish the qualifying lap, but still didn't start last. It was weird, there was a DR/E, with an SR/S rating... what the heck??

I don't reamember where I started, But finished 11th. It was insane. I got rammed up the rear end numerous times. I had one guy on a strait squatting in the middle of the track. I went rallying to get past them. Didn't loose much in the way of DR (still above 1 after more than a week!), but my SR dropped from 99 to 94. The Viper surprised me, I really wasn't expecting it to boogy the back section as well as it did. No creds or experience points were given, just mileage and distance. :grumpy:
 
The WRX gr4 is surprisingly good on Nurb...Until a straight comes, that is, then the Huracan obliterates it.

I had to give my 2nd place to the Huracan behind me because the WRX simply ***** the bed at 6th gear.

Anyway, I Had a great and clean battle today, looking forward to repeat tonight after work.

Tip: If your car has no top speed to keep up on the straights, consider letting your opponent pass(use the indicator beforehand) because it's not worth to defend your position in this track, any mistake and you're done for the rest of the race.

Yeah I saw the Atenza, WRX, GTR, and Huracan are decent
I don't like 4WDs though, I can't feel their limits :indiff:

I tried the NSX. It's way faster than the Viper, but it's so much more twitchy. Not really ideal for the Nurb...
I'm going in the NSX again
 
Started first or second in every race (Race C, no doubt a lot of the good drivers are at the ring) and won the lot quite comfortably with no major issues and still I got a few 1 second penalties. :lol:

One was a tiny bit my fault as I made a mistake and got passed and had to drive carefully behind another car when I was clipped by the car behind me when making sure I didn't hit the guy going off in front of me, so there would have been no issues here if I didn't make the mistake at the start.

The other though was because of an regular issue, I was exiting the pits, still in the pit exit lane and a mid-field runner who hadn't yet stopped just decided to turn in on me, how hard is it to watch out for cars exiting the pits and avoid them. Not that sometimes cars exiting the pits don't just weave back onto the racing line either when they shouldn't, causing totally avoidable contact and penalties.

I got another too and I can't even remember that one, that just shows how unnecessary some of the penalties are. The sound issue came back too, very annoying, hope that is fixed soon, like the T500 issue that so many have.

I'm going in the NSX again

I find the 4WD cars the best for this car because of the corner exits where you can flat-out and because their suspension seems to handle the bumps much better, holy moly the bumps in this track can do a real number on your pace if you're not careful.

Hurracan is ridiculous at Nurb - you can just plant the throttle and ignore bumps, cambers, and kerbs. Nicer gearing than the Atenza, and less understeer too.
