GR1@ Dragon - dare I say it, even worse than Monza....

There is simply no escape @ Dragon if you're using a 2wd car. I like the TS030, even got my first victory :D

But that was lower A dr rating, switched to my near S main ID and it became the biggest 🤬 fest I've ever raced in.

Decided to go awd wasn't really much better, when you're being patient as there is a group of cars infront, it's only a matter of time before you're on the receiving end of a shunt or divebomb. You can't pass the group as they're moving around like a swarm of bees on a honeypot, try to squeeze through, you get tagged or shoved against a wall. Either way, you still get the penalty

Last 3/4 races there was possibly the worst 'racing' I've seen in daily races, considering there are supposed to be A S level 'drivers'.

What sums it up: guy infront tries to divebomb 2 cars going into turn one at start, he gets squeezed to the left as the two cars are already side by side, he looses it, spins back onto track and skittles half the field. At end in the lobby, he calls everyone a 🤬 because 'we' made him crash(??).

 Awesome

I actually had the same experience on Suzuka East, yet there it's more like a pack of panicky sloths. However the cars more so slow the penalty system doesn't engage :) Boxed in in the turns, you don't even have to steer yourself!

Man, I thought I had tamed that “oh crap” chicane in Dragon Trail but I messed up my line (focusing on a lapped ghosted car nonetheless) and hit that wall in the last lap and lost my podium finish. Thankfully 5th place was 22 seconds behind me. Ugh, they don’t call it the bus stop for nothing!!

Just run 10 laps qualifying on race C and ended up with 1.22.949. Fun to drive flat out in 6th gear through the bus stop, but there's no way I'm entering that race today. That's me done for the day !!
I run a bit longer 2x laps in Asia. Down from 1:28 to a low 1:22. Full throttle at the bus stop is amazing. I can't do it at other Gr cars.

No time to try it at EU so no race last night.

Dragontrail is a yoyo track. At SR.S the pushing and shoving is terrible, landed me in SR.A after one race.
Then a clean race at SR.A, finished 2nd, back to SR.S
Same thing again in SR.S, pushing, crashing in front of me due to over driving, back to SR.A.
Then another clean close incredible race at SR.A, battle for 2nd for first 10 laps, then caught up to first and finished right behind him, back to SR.S
Can't I just stay at SR.A, racing is better there....

Of course the real difference is, in SR.A I start near the front, in SR.S in the middle where people simply can not behave.

I just had a battle with a Brazilian in Dragontail, let’s call him Dan. SR S down to SR B in one race. Good news is I am only a few points from SR A.

Wall riders everywhere in race b...i find it ridiculous that I can overcook t4 and hit the wall for a 1.500 penalty yet you can ride the walls entering the corner free of charge.

A lot of the tracks with walls you will get a penalty for hitting them, but you don't if you graze them lifting.

On my way home from work my car broke down on the highway.. Long story short I was home 4 hours later than normal. Had only time for three race A's.

I was slow with a qt of 1.01.2 but my fastest lap in race was 1.00.4. No business in the top but gained a few positions in each race. My second straight day in SR99 and it's as nice as advertised. Suzuka East is such a bumpfest in lower SR's.. But the track is very boring.. E30 is a blast though.. I'm hoping Blue Moon Infield A comes up next.

Maybe I can continue the success with the E30 at Maggiore, although I'm not that good at that track :nervous:

+ with SS tires forget to mention. sometime I think this dailies just like testing area if lot people on room they will be put that on regular

From what I briefly saw, the cars are still all over the place. Maybe they'd be fun with RSS tires, but eh. And Streets of Willow in reverse with its awkward corners just compounds the issue. I'm imagining the race will be SR suicide...

Can't believe we still don't have Gr.2 dailies yet, instead we get silly stuff like this.

There's several spots where to pass people which can't be said about Suzuka East
True. I also think Suzuka East does not favour controller players, due to the amount of partial turning required which is nearly impossible to do consistently... Maggiore is much better for that.

Maggiore Center is my favorite from the shorter tracks.
Agree with this too :) just have to see how I get on in qualifying :/ have definitely lost my touch lately.

Did I notice you say you are up to SR S now and enjoying it?

just have to see how I get on in qualifying :/
The key to the E30 imho is to try getting its front wheels point as straight as possible on the apex of the corner towards the exit and then just floor it. At least that decently worked at Suzuka yesterday in the Esses :boggled:
