The GT. Pitted with fuel saving :)
Only option is still RH. My PB during the race was a 1:38.6xx... I think I have more time to shave in quali :)

Pitted for both fuel and tyres but saved fuel on the slow sections of the track? And (finally ) which lap did you pit?

might be placebo effect but after the latest BoP changes, the RC F GR4 Lexus feels really heavy, especially on Interlagos ... they increased its weight with 1% but I'm pretty sure that the car has gone to a bad place now.... anyhow, decided to give a try to the Atenza as it is kind of a meta car on Interlagos and hit 1.38.5XX, pretty sure I can go as low as 1.38.2XX with it

I think the same re: Lexus, it feels much quicker to jump out at the back now... previously I could drive it with no assists, but it spins way too easily now.

MUHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHAHAA

Guess it's time to get my secondary account more wins ;)

Also a good time to break my minor plateau on my primary account

Can't wait to play when I get out of class!
How are you finding the EU to race in?

I have no opinion. I only did a few races, all at Interlagos. Most of the time I started on pole and won, eventually found some Dr A drivers who beat me and races I had against them were clean.

A lot of time penalties were in the Dr E lobbies, but I didn't find that suprising, especially at Lagos.

The only time I was involved in a incident was my second Dr E race. A lapper didn't want to be lapped on the final lap and wrecked me... I had more than enough of a lead to win the race though, but I reported them regardless.

@bmxmitch I have not played on that account since Lagos last showed up as Daily race B. I'm waiting for Lagos so I can quickly level the profile up. I feel kinda bad dominating lower ranks, so I want to get that profile up before I enter other daily races races or any FiA races. So I'm actually doing my best to not ruin other races :)

I’m stuck on 1:40.1 at Interlagos but I know I’ve got a better time in me, I can beat my ghost by .300 through Senna alone! Will try again later with a bit more time on my hands.

I agree yet I'm faster in it than the Atenza, I just can't drive fast with the Atenza, certainly not like the top ten do and that's just over 1 lap, I'm sure the race will be worse if anything.

Anyway the idiots are back in their Meganes causing chaos again thanks to the BOP update too.

I did pit for tyres too :P
I basically shortshifted 4 dayzzzz
Lap 6

Huh. I relate to you on a spiritual level

I've gotta admit, I'm not the biggest fan of the atenza, understeer all day long..
But, it's still the fastest car around a lot of gr4 tracks unfortunately..
Hopefully a bop update will change that in the future though.

On the plus side I may not have enjoyed it but I'm down to a 1:37.2 now :) 4th on the EU servers

Nice time!

Also nice to see 3 more GTPers on there :gtpflag:

I used +2 yesterday to trailbrake into T1

Sadly I couldn't save my FL's replay yesterday, but there is another replay of my first sub-1-minute laptime shared in my gallery

Do you know why it didn't have the little play button next to your name on Q rankings? I thought if you saved a replay it allows others to watch?

To all Atenza users, what BB do you go for? I used +2 myself.

I managed to check my record time at lunch and record is 1.38.523 which I aim to beat tonight. I'm thinking to go further back to +4?

I should point out that the Lexus isn't actually slow, I mean I got a low 1'37.7 in it and a 1'37.5 is possible for me if I get it perfect, so there's no reason a top guy couldn't get it in the current top ten with it, challenging the very best is probably out of the question though.

I've been experimenting with it all day, similar times with all for me, more rearward allowed me to trial brake deeper but having it more neutral gave better stopping distance I felt.

Others may have different experiences though depending on driving style. I wouldn't worry about it too much personally

Edit - it's also worth saying I don't have a lot of experience in the atenza so my opinion probably isn't the most relevant 👍

Thanks :) I do admit it's nice when you seen amother GTPer in a race or ranking board or something :gtpflag:

Nice. Hope to catch your time and see you on the track.

Mr Toad's wild ride! I started with Race A thinking it will be a nice fun way to circulate and re-gain some SR. I was wrong. People were all over the place, and I dropped to DR/A. Next race I did Race C. That too would have been carnage, if I didn't concede many places to people less concerned about ramming the cars in front who were braking a bit too hard. It was a mixed grid of mostly DR/A and B, with SR/A and B. My DR has taken a big dive over the last couple of days. I was creeping towards 4000 points. I predict next race will see me back down to 1 .

Thats good, the Lexus GR.4 has been my favorite car for awhile - so it's nice to hear the added few pounds didn't completely ruin it.

With a top 4 time in EU region, I'm pretty sure your opinion is indeed relevant

I know mate, haven't seen you since that day at Blue Moon Infield haha

Fun little race at Suzuka East. Like the M3. Just dislike the color limits.
Maybe the original was offered only in red and black? But anyhow, the race indeed was real fun. I had fears for Suzuka east, based on previous one-makes, but this time it worked out pretty well for me. Managed to get to 1:01.8 (ok, I amm just average and play with DS4, perhaps more practice would help). Raced only once, but finished 3rd. I must say, all other players around me were very cautious and the race was professional but very clean. Maybe it has to do something with recent tweaks to the penalty system and that more and more people now realize what's ok and what's not tolerated? Never got bumped, nor brake tested, no stupid pushes from behind when balancing on ice at turn-in, all and all it was much better than before. i ended up with clean race bonus.
Also the previous days my races were way better than, say, the last month. It's good direction.

Just completed a race in Race C. A lot of fun when there is a competitive field.
1:36s are certainly possible in practice. Got a 1:37.3 whilst making a mistake in sector 2.
Weird seeing no M4s in a fuel management race.

I think i was in that race with you
I didn't realise you can't cut the pit 'straight' in the race like you can in practice, got a penalty, then got rammed, got another penalty for the privilege and just dropped down the order :banghead:
Won the next race from pole though :p
And now off to my shift :nervous:

Does cutting the pit actually save that much time though? From the testing I've done, you don't really gain much if anything at all?
