Does anyone know if you can draft bump on Bluemoon in DR.A without racking up the penalties?

Not unless you bump very, very slightly. It's not worth the risk in my opinion.

A couple weeks ago I started on pole and led the first two laps. The 2nd place driver bumped/pushed me 3 separate times on those 2 laps. I got a 1 second penalty each time. Nothing I could do... In the lead, full throttle getting pushed, and I got penalized three seconds. Not sure how many seconds he wracked up.
 
I got smashed left and right on blue moon but thankfully not one orange arrow, and no penalties. Finished 2nd so very happy with that. Even one instance where I got rammed, started to spin, hit the wall, bounced back into the guy then rear ended back up to speed! Good times

Earlier I got smacked clean off from behind and nothing, not even a penalty for me. :lol: Then another guy took "revenge" on me after I accidently nudged him wide and would have let him back past once it was safe to do so had he not just floored it and smashed straight into me ruining both of our races, as he got a big penalty for it as he slowed way down. I reported him but I doubt it'll do any good.



Nice time again, I can see how it's possible but it'd take me a while (if ever) to match your current time never mind go quicker. 👍​

Cheers mate - I saw your time in the top ten, 2:02.8 is rapid, no lucking in to a time like that ( from when you said you fluked it )
I was on for a 2:02.3 but messed it up on the last chicane braking just slightly too deep and if I'd done any more laps we would have been late, and then I really would have been in trouble, more trouble then being on pole at monza in in an S/D race
 
This penaltysystem is just a ****ing joke. Had a really great race at race b gr 4.
Everybody was driving clean n fair.
Until last lap i got a tiny bumb from behind, got +1 sec and then i hit the one in front of me slightly + another 10 sec and my race was ruined because of this damn tiny incidents that had no efects to noone:banghead:

This doesn't even mention Interlagos which is a guaranteed pathetic crap show if you qualify worse than 5th...

It's a shame because the track is by far my favorite and an absolute blast to race on

Indeed, the track itself is a blast, but qualify not just 5th and below, I'd say even 2nd-3rd and you got a ram party coming:D

Funny tho, I see a lot of same names on same tracks making same stupid moves, yet somehow they always manage to get their sr back to S, just to pick up few other with them on the way down..

By fluke, I meant somewhere in the middle of the lap I found more time than I usually had there and it more than made up for some slight errors in other places where I think I had run a touch faster before and the running way wide after T2 wasn't intentional and I'm not sure why it's allowed when running less wide than that got me a penalty before in a previous number of laps, strange track limits going on at that corner. :confused::lol::cool:
 
Had 3 races today GR4 at the Nur GP.
My last time out in sport mode had my SR down to 60 and just escaped the DR reset and got back to
SR 80 and that's where I started the day.
Only had time for 3 races tonight and set a,
2:04:9 In my M4.
First 2 Races of the evening and I'm with Nuschel01 in a Nissan who was about 0.6 faster in Qualifying and finished behind him both times.:cheers:.
Then had one of the full DR D SR S races and I was the only s/s and took the win, I did feel a bit bad as only the top four finished.
Not forgetting a first comer scare from the guy who started in P2 Who flew past me on the brakes going into T1.
Ended the day with SR 95. And a gain of about
750 DR.
 
God damn bump drafters, I got hit into the car in front and got a 3 second penalty. 3rd down to 5th at the line. No idea how the two guys in P1&2 overtook is during the pits unless they were doing no stops

The races today were surprisingly clean, in my races I only saw one guy divebombing into T1 but I was smart enough to take the corner wide when in traffic. That might cause a loss of a position but it‘s safe. I unfortunaltey had to deal with some ridiculous penalties again and was just now able to get back to SR99. Scored 3 wins today (5 if it wasn‘t for the penalties 🤬), 1 pole and a gain of ~4250DR 👍
 
I did 4 races on the Nurb GP without qualifying. I know I'm not very competitive in GR.4 yet I couldn't even keep up with the last car. Thinking I must have a bad day I continued on trying to improve, then in the 4th race I notice my throttle isn't going to 100%. My controller is only giving 90% throttle unless I press really hard.

Switched controllers and now I'm running 2:07 again in the Viper instead of 2:10. Still not very good yet at least I can keep up with the back now. 6K DR down with matchmaking putting me in full B/S rooms. GR.1 better come back soon or I'll be DR.B as well. GR.3 is fine, perhaps I'll try the bluemoon roulette wheel later.
 
I was quickly having a go for the gr2 fia race and thought I’d do race b to pass the time
Unfortunately blue moon infield the day before had taken my sr down to an a so was sort of miss matched as an s rated driver with a couple of a/s or s/a and then d/s every where else
One lap of practice in the atenza didn’t trouble a single apex due to not adapting well to the difference in performance from the gr2 to gr4
Managed a 2:05.9 which put me 9th I think and within a lap was up to 4th ended up third as the time lost in the early laps allowed the leaders to get away fastest lap I got in the race was a 2:04.1 which would have put me 3rd on the grid which could have made it more interesting but oh well
 
Finally I experienced my first disconnection. (Didn't want to.) I wanted a quick drive, opted for daily A, was matchmaked to pole, and while waiting for the race to start, first I realized my 1 bar signal strength, then the grey popup with the msg I was disconnected. From pole, without even starting. Joined the next race, started from P3, crossed the line 2nd, but the 1st disappeared, I was listed as 1st. Got the points, clean race bonus, but now I'm in doubt what has happened. And I can't see clear, I've got different points on jasonguernsey.net and on kudosprime. I know kudosprime is accumulating the whole day, but jasonguernsey.net can log my each race, just don't know where to find. I should like to see how many points I lost because of that DC and how many points I won - if any - on my second race. At the moment I can't even see my time on https://www.jasonguernsey.net/gts/races/daily-race-a
Can someone please help me out and point me to the right direction?

That happened to me. Felt like my hand brake was left on as everyone just pulled away on the straights and I couldn’t understand why I was so far behind. The trigger buttons on the DualShock are garbage.

I’m getting my SR back up so DO NOT HIT ME. If you want to pass cleanly I will let you, I’m not going to fight anyone for a position. My car is purple and green with my name on the side.

I think they all read PLEASE HIT ME AND CRASH IN TO ME
 
Had a lot of fun today could’ve cared less about Dr/Sr since no one else did Funny how much people cry foul when they get get a taste of their own medicine. Hahaahaaa loved it!
 
My first night of racing went well after a bit of a break. Gr4 Nurb was super clean. Had some great races and set a great qually. Couldn't stay on to long unfortunately.

Happy days though :D
 
Lucky, I’m down from SR S to B, fortunate I haven’t fallen further what with all the chaos. All been documented...

I tie my PB at 2:03:0xx with Atenza :)
I am happy with it as last time was done before Atenza being nerf.

At last my PB is 2:04.033 opt is 2:03.5xx but no time to trim it down. Next time.:D
 
Can't play on nurburgring for simple cause: ALL HUD is gone for DR.B races :lol:
And DR.C same crazier, once get penalty there's no way make white SR after race :lol:

I don't think its a case now (and correct me if I'm wrong) that one orange arrow is equal to four greens? I'm sure I read that somewhere but I think now the orange arrows are reflected by the severity of the misdemeanour? I had to get clean races to get a blue SR on race C. 20x 3 sections is 60 opportunities to get an arrow. I had one race with one orange arrow and my SR was grey ie. unchanged. I'm glad that it's harder to achieve a higher SR but at the same time the consequence of being crashed into is really damaging on your score

Once I had pounded on him and punted him into the grass 3 or 4 times, I slowed and waited for him on the last lap to once again push him off into the grass right before the straight. I hope I made my point?

Amazingly I only got a 4 second penalty. Now I know why he slid sideways into me...no or less penalty.

I’ll do the same thing every time, to anyone who races me dirty. No matter the consequences. I’m tired of playing nice and wondering why it keeps happening. I’d rather be suspended than tolerate it any longer.

While I applaud you, and if someone pushes my buttons enough I will also retaliate, I would hate to get a name for myself amongst other drivers, because I tend to see the same players a lot. I would prefer respectful driving, if only everyone would also play by the rules :(

At Blue Moon, I bump draft another player the whole race. Got a Clean Race bonus. 👍

It's so finicky. Bump drafting works in A/S yet you have to slow way down to practically be pushing, not really bumping anymore. Just one bump was too hard and instant 5 sec penalty for me, 1 sec for the car in front and red rating after the race... (I also had to hit the wall once for 1.5 sec to evade a car) Practice makes perfect I guess.
 
Safe to say there was a dr reset... quality couple of days
