Weird, I found it to be a pain in the ass. The weight distribution on acceleration would always cause the front end to lift up like a motor boat and initiate understeer. I felt like I was constantly juggling the weight just to get it to turn correctly which required way too much lifting off the throttle and coasting through the apex. I only had it set to TCS 1 and Brake Balance +1 so I can't see that being the issue.

Are we talking about the same car? I'm talking about Renault Megane... the only car in GT Sport that can't go out of line also if you deliberately want to do it! :dopey:

And about lifting off the throttle: when i drive the Megane the throttle is almost always ON ...

A suggestion then: put down TCS... it's really unuseful... it's so stable that losing traction on that car is really impossible!!!!

Great fun in the Viper. It’s got a bit of a street circuit feel to it with the proximity of the walls which, along with the fast nature of the circuit itself, makes for a thrilling experience when you nail a good lap.

I completely agree, I am also a Viper driver. I had so much fun whipping the car around the track. I'm very disappointed I had to stop :(

Cant wait to give it another go this weekend.

PD does not get enough credit for Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Infield A. A phenomenal track for Gr4.

It's become my third favorite track right behind Interlagos and Suzuka.

Desperately trying to win on it this morning, but I need to get going soon :(
Yup, the track fit “slower” cars. It is a challenging and demanding track. Unfortunately I have no time to enter a race today but set a Q time.:D

I'm at upper half of B which is quite mediocre I guess. But I see the same phenomenon. On Bathurst, it is a problem because there really is only one spot for clean overtakes and it's very very hard to get past a Megane there. I find the Atenza, WRX and Evo easier to drive as they don't have this massive understeering behavior but they lack straightline speed in return (which is good).

The thing is: The BoP update for the Megane was totally uncalled for, the car was fine as it was.

I think the BoP update was fair for the Megane, it really only does one thing good and that is straight line speed, it excels on Bathurst because of the lack of real passing opportunities on the technical sections, and it excels on the straights.
I just wish they updated other cars, including the Cayman - which sucks at basically everything.

The Megane is on rails in the sense that it is impossible to spin the thing out, but it understeers SO badly.
It's horrible to drive on most tracks that require any ounce of throttle while turning, and Blue Moon Bay infield A is a high speed cornering track so rightfully so the Megane should really suck on it.

Totally agree

OK, but why refer to them as roaches?

'Cause they look like giant cockroaches! My feeling was re-affirmed yesterday when I saw a black Lambo sitting out the front of a smash repair place.

After trying a few cars and running out of time to actually race, I set my best time, 1:14.6 with the NSX and I feel that at my level, there's another second to be had.

Ah, OK

Can't say I'm a fan of modern Ferraris and Lambos either, but doesn't stop me driving them in the game :)

Invisigoth, Have you given the Atenzas a try? the gr4 is very easy to drive, it's the only car I can drive with t.c. set to 0!. and it has loads of front end grip so just goes where you point it.

the gr3 has a lot more power and I have to run t.c. 5 to keep the rear stepping out using a ds4. (I'd love a wheel, but I think my wife would divorce me) it has the same front end grip which is why it's so good on tracks with tight twisty sections. bit slow in a straight line but on technical tracks like Brands that less of an issue

good luck!

So I was finally in a full lobby with people is the same class as me (B/S), started P3, and managed to win thanks to the others binning it cos I was definitely not the quickest in that race. But, wins are few and far between for me online so I'll happily take it.

Interestingly, all my wins in Sport Mode have all been at Brands Hatch

Brand's hatch dropped me back down to DR.B this afternoon, which is fine since getting bumped off twice in the first lap and end up with 13 sec penalties, no thanks. Now I have to be careful as I'm only 103 points away from DR.A again and then the A/S dirty racing can start again.

Racing in B/S or A/A is much more enjoyable. Too many A/S in a room and the afternoon turns the track into Bomb's hatch. If I could simply instruct the game to keep me at SR.A in the afternoon I would do it instantly. At night SR.S is fine, during the day not so much.

In DR.B low SR.S I had some awesome close perfectly clean battles, going side by side for half a lap without issues. Thrilling racing, waiting for the perfect opportunity, backing out in time, feign attacks, positioning carefully to slow the lead down and duck to the other side, so much fun. Yet then you get back to SR 99 :/ Driving clean sometimes feels like a punishment. On the other hand, getting punted down often gets me better races. How's that encouraging anyone to drive clean....

Really avoid daily B on this week, too much wrecker and opportunistic racer. Easily fkcd up on race B even if you really aware who you meet and they drive sometime you can't handle penalty thing work  now I can't be mad about that penalty but just accept it.

Shift time to play is really help get some win, but in the end more wrecker in 4 am some people drive like they high as hell

Veyron is fast in Q, but in race..

Yeh, I found that at Bathurst. The Veyron was working well but come race time, the handling changed and I could no longer use the same braking points and didn't have the same grip, even though it's not a tire wear race.
