Has the m6 been neutered or something? Last time at Maggiore it dominated the board, now I don't see a single one?

Neither had I but I really enjoyed it. Regardless of the characteristics of the car it was a pleasure to drive once you learn braking points and when to plant the throttle. Did several races tonight in this. My Chevy Lightning Volt.

Amazingly I saw Sven Jurgens in a race for the first time tonight. I know right, the guy has only done like 10k races. After finishes of 5th, 3rd, and 2nd I qualified P2 for the next race and get a DC while in the lobby. :banghead: I really wish they could get this fixed. Anyway a nice night of DR recovery, Creeping ever closer to DR/A again where I will become midfield fodder for faster, higher ranked drivers.

Raise your hand if you tried to downshift the first couple times driving this car.

One not surprising you'd plaster it in Chevy logos considering your name. Two, as fun as it is to play make-believe that luminescent Audi logo will always indicate what the car really is. Maybe one day Chevy will make an interesting electric car...this isn't it.

So basically, floor it at the apex?

And instead of revving to the limiter, when do I upshift? Thanks :)

Yes... going fast in the Veyron is all about braking... get this right and you can fly out of the corners :)

Changing anywhere over 6k makes little difference IME... but you lose some acceleration if you hang on for the last 500 revs.

Noted!

Dammit, another good day where I cant play :(

I just hope for sunday.....or maybe, I'll try GOW too :D

You know the weekend races will be a pants line up. Whenever I have time to play, the combos have been crap for me lately. I don't think I can race tonight either. Gutted.

Not been able to spend as much time as I'd like on GTS at present :guilty:

We need to get a lobby set up again, but it's always a little complicated to gather more than 3 people

Is there any benefit at all to running race c without pitting? It seems to me that if you don’t run at full power 99% of the time or change tyres you’re no where. Which begs the question what’s the point in running races that force pit stops if alternate strategies give you a disadvantage.

Some Race Cs let you do no-stops. Not sure if that's the case with this one though. Nevertheless, 99% full powah ultimate speed strategy is not the best. Try to manage your fuel as much as you can so you can get a massive jump on your opponents in the pits. I fuel-save even if the meta is a one-stop. That way I have on average 20% more fuel than my opponents, and at the same time I need to refuel even less than my opponents (eg. they refuel to 65%, I refuel to 55%). That way I instantly get 2-5 seconds depending on track. I also tend to massage my tires a bit before abusing them near the end of the race to get me an FL :)
:D :gtpflag:

Iirc Maggiore has such a short pit lane and pit stop time that you might even do a two-stopper? There was a thread on here where somebody entered the pits in front of somebody else and the driver who pit stayed in front although the other driver didn't pit :boggled:

Monza GR.4 again, it's only been last Saturday that we had that combo. Even though I usually win a lot of those races, GoW it is then. I find Maggiore rather boring. GR.2 would have made it more interesting.

Can we get GR.B, GR.2, GR.1, even Kart again PD?

No.

Good variety too.

Yeh, most of my races are like that too. I keep reading about what cars are dominating and how everyone is using them, but I'm just not seeing it. Sometimes people just race what they want to race.

My BMW's indicators also work fine and are used frequently :odd:

Lets see... a German, driving a German car in Germany.... well duh! Of course it works. It's when they find their way into the hands of drivers outside of their native habitat that there's a problem. Like any feral animal there are some places they simply don't belong. According to one motor journalist, the feral BMW drivers are now driving the Auto Union product. As near as I can tell in my country, they drive both :odd:.

As I said douches in Germany moved over to VAG cars, they've got a built-in right of way and come with a lack of blinker fluid from the factory

Once my life normalises I will be on close to every night, but I'm in demand at the minute with one thing and another.

Like racing with you guys. If not tonight, I should definitely have a night to myself over the weekend.

@Robben @Invisigoth I'm UK BMW driver, who can drive, properly :) It's the SUV drivers you have to be careful of!

It happens at the high DR races, as they tend to be full of very fast competitive people who are focusing on being the fastest they can be, and hence picking the fastest car. That doesn't happen as much at lower DR Levels.

Also, I think generally a higher percentage of A and S DR drivers are on this forum (compared to how many there actually are), relative to C and D DR drivers, as many of those players are more casual and don't take it as seriously and hence don't go onto this forum.

Tomorrow should work I guess :D Today's night is occupied by doing stupid **** with cars irl

Cutting off others, lanehogging and flashin' ma laihts on the Autobahn :dunce:
In the MX5? :)

Make sure you indicate... Do you "cruise" every Friday?

Tbh I don't think it's a single brand issue (any more) so many pricks who just don't indicate at all.... really winds me up. And don't get me started on people who sit in the outside lane when not overtaking.... I get right up behind them and start flashing my lights, then undertake on the inside and brake-check them if they don't move over quickly.

Race A is a crashfest, avoid at all cost.
Even if you start on pole the pack will catch up before T1 and it seems that everyone thinks they can go 2 wide through every corner.

Tried race C but quickly found out that my NSX was rather uncompetitive. It's got good fuel economy but that's negated by the fact it eats rear tyres at an alarming rate. By the time I got to lap 4 it was driving like the Yellowbird in GT5.

I made it to Dr. A yesterday and I'm now matched with alien and kamikaze drivers only, or so it seems. So much for having fun...
