For fuel, stay away from the NSX. I had no problems triple stinting the tyres, but was only getting 4 laps fuel wise. The tyre wear and fuel thread has it listed as 213km/tank, whereas the GTR at 241km and the Lexus at 240km under X1 fuel I assume.

You can short shift the NSX though, like by quite a bit and it will be just as fast. It should be the best Gr.2 car on fuel if you do this surely.

It gets abused yes, yet the rules are still a mystery to me. You now ghost as soon as the penalty time starts decreasing, normally when slowing down yet there's a few spots on some tracks where you can shave off and ghost by lifting off the gas. As a result people were serving penalties in front of the pit again and then they go solid as soon as the time depletes, which you can't see when approaching, so they might go solid one inch in front of your bumper, which happened to me.... twice.

However in one race on nurb 24h people with penalties were drafting through me at full speed, I had a penalty as well and also saw other cars with penalties go through each other. Yet when I tried to test it out in another race I just draft bumped into the car in front of me on the long straight instead of going through.

So no, you don't automatically ghost with a penalty, yet I have seen plenty instances where people with penalties went straight through other cars. Perhaps when you have a penalty you can't hit penalty free cars (as a crude harassment protection?) or the higher penalty car can't hit lower penalty cars. Of course since the system only guesses who hits who it might all be random in practice.

It's a confusing mess creating yet more problems and uncertainty.
When you were drafting with a penalty were you using ~3/4 throttle or similar? I had a penalty and was stuck behind a car between Bergwerk and Karussell. I couldn't overtake it so I just slipstreamed behind it at ~3/4 throttle, ghosted out, and slowly reduced my penalty. At times I was still catching up whilst still ghosted at ~3/4 throttle in the slipstream.

Today's races?

Plz let it be new Dragon.. Practiced it yesterday for a couple of hours. Probably still slow on it but it's a joy to drive and easy to avoid big mistakes.

I have big DR loss in current mix but that's not problem for me cause run in N24H always fun, but this fuel notification just stupid. Why it flashing? why it placed more middle like that when my focus always to that point. More it flashing and stay on that position more chance I will spinning, this one biggest killing immersion to me. I hope they relocate to bottom mirror, or should I move to chase view?
This text is so annoying because it actually blocks your vision. Especially on the exterior camera. It desperately needs fixing because it detracts from the immersion.

Also, got my first win in the Supra Racing Concept yesterday on Broad Bean. Woohoo! I love driving the car, easily of one the best in Group 3. Still haven't got a picture of the livery I've made for it; I think it's pretty cool.

Race A: KTM X-Bow @ Autodromo Lago Maggiore - Centre, 9 laps

Race B: Gr. 4 @ Dragon Trail - Gardens, 5 laps

Race C: Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept @ Suzuka Circuit, 9 laps
Thanks, still in city at this moment and GTS app in android doesn't showing current mix

It seems that Monday often gets good races, whereas Friday is very hit and miss, mostly rubbish but sometimes one good combo and the weekend can be pretty poor too unless you are a Nordschleife/24h fan as that is when this appears.

Gardens is definitely not a Garden of Eden. On top of a lot of unfamiliarity with the track, it's a divebomber's paradise. I don't think I'll be racing it again anytime soon.

That and a masochist fan. If love a beaten on, on one of the pain tracks.

Did a 39.7 at DTG. Let's see where this places me in my first race.

Edit: the Viper did good. However, I didn't. Either the Viper brakes really well or players brake too early. Twice, players are braking at like the 300 marker. Leaving me no room but the inside and then, I get turned in on.

Two penalties. Fell to11th and grabbed 9th, by .003 seconds at the line.

It’s so easy to make a mistake at Dragon Trail Gardens. Between each race I’m trying to improve on my current time, knowing I’m capable of going close to half a second faster, but I just can’t put it all together. At least the races have been great fun so far.

I got a win with the Viper. So much grunt at the first chicane. I slow it right down to 2nd. Navigate the esses and pluck 3rd midway thru exit.

Handles the four corners loverly. Actually, handles the whole circuit with no stress.

What is the point of race 1, is it just me or is that "car" almost undriveable? Any tips people?
Cant get under 53 seconds good enough to get me to the back of the grid :irked:
Finished last what a surprise.
Decided to sack it off and give the new Gardens track a go managed 3rd place and a blue S/R only 4 clean drivers at the end, i wont be doing race 1 again anytime soon i don't think.

The exit of that chicane is one of my problem spots in qualifying. Sausage curb looks so appetising but is quite deadly. Same goes for the final corner. I just scraped into the 1:37s during my last qualifying session, gaining two tenths on my previous best but I’m not quite satisfied yet.

Mobil 05?

Race B is lots of fun so far.
Of course you have the guys divebombing and tapping on your back, but the track is new so I guess most will learn the brakepoints and corners to overtake.
Or (and I think this is more likely) most guys think they're Verstappen and keep on ruining races for everyone. :irked::lol:

But somehow, I managed to get 6 clean races in a row. (Until an Italian thought he can cut me in the S corners)

Been running Race C myself but it's so easy to make a big mistake and I've got CSA on.:dunce: I even just did one with a 9 second lead on the last lap and almost lost, I deserved to for that rubbish really and I was only in front because the fastest driver (at the moment) made a mistake.

Same here ... finally some good races and I won't be able to play today or will have an hour at most later in the evening..

after month of abstination from Sport races I decided to give it a go to see what changed in the past updates. I was doing C races, Gr.2 on Monza was disaster, massive DR/SR drop ... yep, I was only one A+ in these race, but at least I learned that penalty doesn't increasing when it's not served immediately, then Supra concept on Suzuka was better, managed to get the 20 wins achievement and then some good race results when I didn't get caught in the circle of penalties :ouch: ... car was awful though, rear wanted to step out in every corner and because I don't do TCS/CSA I just short shifted whole circuit for better stability out of the corners and also better fuel consumption.

The Supra is quick and handles well, but I found it pretty spiky when I tried it over the weekend!
