I hate today's daily race schedule in its entirety. I found all of them uninspiring and thus refuse to race in any of them. This includes race B which took place at Northern Isle Speedway. My qualifying for that daily race was horrible, and I quit it before the race can begin. From then on I'm through with Northern Isle Speedway in Sport Mode forever. Any daily race schedule is better than today's one, especially tomorrow's schedule.

Gr.2 @ Suzuka uninspiring? Rarely does a better car / track combo pop up than that...

It is a race C though, and I'm not in the mood for strategy tonight

Even though I had about 15sec. worth of penalties at the end (all due to hitting the wall a bit too hard) I ended up 9th from starting 12th I think... only did 1 race as I was scared my DR would really plummet... spend a few laps behind @darth_tails, it was pretty much the first time I recognized a GTP member  I don’t usually pay much attention to that kind of thing :p

I gained 1100 DR points on Race B today, so not too bad. I always use the Atenza, but decided to try the Meta car in a few qualifying laps. Man, that thing is on rails and so easy to drive, so didn't use it for actual racing; it didn't feel right using it. I did feel a lot better when my Atenza beat a whole load of AMG Merc's in races. How can someone not control the AMG on that circuit? You have to be totally hamfisted to get it out of shape!

Yeah, the AMG wasc definitely on another level. I stick on the inside with the NSX all race. I caught and passed an AMG due to it always riding the wall on the Start Finish straight.

When It was be behind me, it filled my rear view mirror an them it just motored past on the inside. I passed it as it had too much speed. Then, it passes me on the outside. How?

I do. I managed to lost my race at the first corner, twice

Pleasantly surprise how clean Race B is, since there are no ideal takeover spot. Tsukuba and Northern Isle are so reliant on qualifying though that make the race boring

In every race today, the AMG's that were ahead of me on the grid, at least 8 of them at the start have accelerated to quick and ended up sliding off into the wall. I'm guessing they're not using TC?

In qualy I kept TC at 2, and the car was rock solid, and I shaved about a 1/4 of a second off my Atenza qualy time.

What’s the meta Race B car for qualifying? (Leaderboard)

AMG Merc.

Practicing for the Gr. 4 race today at Alsace II. Gotta say, the replay cameras are awesome. They're stationary, with only one that moves with the car, for a brief moment. Should be good with a train of cars in each shot.
Coupled with the night time setting, I'm looking forward to watching them.

Which car was I driving out of interest, I assume it must have been Northern Isle or was it Tokyo Expressway?

Today one make race c

unfortunately this is not true probably
description in "main page" of race says "allowed"
but inside you need to choose car from gt garage, not your own, meh

or maybe I'm not owning that car and that's why that happened?

"Goonies never say die!". Forget those Meganes. They've got no power uphill and on the straights. So what they qualify well.
In the race, they only have just about one shot to get ahead. At the start hairpin and at the dowhll right-hander.
Those of us not in the Trophy, were pulling them everywhere else.

I was between two of them. Got the drop on them at T1 and in the middle of the circuit. At the last turn, the duelling banjo Trophys tried to outbraked one another. I slipped on the indide and got taken out with a pit manuevre, into, well, pit wall. Fell to last 12th(last), but on the last lap, finished 7th(two cars spun off and a Trophy had a 2 second penalty).

I had a great night racing on Suzuka in GR.2, best GR for the track, flows so heavenly.

However first I got ticked off trying to buy a simple weatherproof am/fm radio to use pool site. I guess the day and age you can simply go to a store are over. No luck in big electronics stores, so last I tried redio shack, they should have simple radios right. Except it's called the source nowadays. Initially no, yet then they came up with a Monster bluetooth speaker with FM radio build in. Weather proof, 60W speaker. 36 hour battery life, charges with a standard power cable, included. No antenna though, yet was build in, should be fine, they said.

Not, piece of **** doesn't receive anything. 2 stations in the 80 mhz range then nothing. Manual tuning and grabbing on what metal part sticks out to use myself as an antenna conjures some faint music in between the static. It's 10x worse than my old crappy boom box of which the antenna broke off. I returned it the same day. Now they said it really was meant as a bluetooth speaker, not as a radio, but I could buy a radio and pair it with the speaker via bluetooth. I said goodbye. Not buying a second radio to pair with my first radio so I can listen to my radio that can't receive no ****ing radio. Muppets.

Browsing online I guess I need to look for work site radios, however I don't need power tool adapters or brand tied battery pack chargers. Nor do I need solar powered, hand cranked, flashlight integrated travel radios. I just want a weatherproof radio, ugh. /rant

Back on topic, Suzuka! The competition was strong tonight. Here's one of those grids.

My best lap at the end of the night was 1:51.7 I rather start last than 13th. I didn't qualify again.

I managed to get 9 races in, it looks like I was trying to cover all finishing positions.

As for DR in these tough rooms:
13th place up 4 positions -329 DR (Warm up race)
11th place up 7 positions +128 DR
10th place up 8 positions +408 DR
9th place up 9 positions +441 DR
12th place up 7 positions -138 DR (This race was not clean, got punted off track twice, it happens)
7th place up 12 positions +410 DR
3rd place up 15 positions +1070 DR (Awesome battle for 3rd in the last 3 laps)
8th place up 12 positions +202 DR
8th place up 10 positions +395 DR

A net gain of 2916 DR over all which puts me dangerously close to DR.A again, less than 500 points away. The DR.B shield came in handy in a couple races, no penalties for getting bumped from behind. The only 2 penalties I did get were a drive bomb clipping me on the way to punting another car off at the last turn, 3 seconds. And when I tried to over take in that same spot in a different race, the other car pushed me so far to the inside, while we were alongside, that I couldn't take the turn tight enough and he took it as if I wasn't there, thus bounced off me, karma and 2 sec.

It was an all blue night for me anyway, so much SR to gain most people were blue. In fact, I have no clue how that one DR.S driver managed to get a red B. Is DR.S held to a higher standard again?

Tomorrow Dodge Challenger on Big Willow for me!

These penalties and ghosting is getting silly. A players ghosts me, we get to a corner. Another player behind, hits that car, it goes into the barriers andv I get the 5 seconds.
Next, teo cars ahead, knocks a Genesis into a spin. It hits the barrier and comes back onto the track in front of me. No added time, but penalty enough to right myself off the grass and rejoin the circuit.

Northern Isle, I think it was a Mercedes but I’d have to check the replay :)

Yes I remember that race , had been doing well and managed to avoid penalties but then got whacked into the wall on the second last lap
and got 5 seconds so ended up loosing a top spot so I didn't save the video myself as I only keep top 3 performances.

Overall Race A and B were good fun yesterday and after almost quitting earlier in the week (search back for Monday rant) it's really brought
me back up and I may well be DR B once again before tomorrow's FIA races.

Hoping to get some time for the one make race today but will see how much energy I have after work.

The Challenger is fun during qualy. Picked a brown one. I feel it's wrong they gave the car C. 5-speed, should just change the gearing in the 4-speed. Loads of smiling slideways fun.

Hope people aren't using TCS.

Edit: Don't know what post what double posted. Moving forward...

Gr.4 at Alsace today full of so many dirty drivers... makes me wanna
If they're not divebombing you in T1, they'll push you into the wall when you overtake. So lame....

Is PD making any more alterations to the penalty system? How about online racing blocks for persistent offenders? Hmm...

Daily Race A - Willow Springs: Big Willow - '70 Challenger R/T

During the last lap, I was in 2nd place, and 1st place was well ahead of me. They lose control, and I pass them.
Upon getting into first place, I got so nervous. I did not want to mess up, and this car is unforgiving to me.
I'll savor this victory that I will probably never get from this race again.

Daily B one-make race already starting to happen in Asia.

The racing has been pretty bad for me too in the 4C. The rolling start compresses everyone up and it's a lottery going into the first corner. Been bumped back down the field in two races. The T10 will probably be all Meganes by the time I finish writing! I also got the Megane Gr4 (the fwd one) as my daily reward too.....
