Biggest problem for me on B seems the sr loss vs gain ratio, it just doesn't seem to have too many sectors to get back the sr lost by the bump rockets..

I wonder if just backing out of Sport Mode back to the main menu (to trigger that online save) would do the job, rather than the full restart? Might be worth a try, see if that's enough to prevent it.
I'll try it next time I'm on, and see if I get stuck again if I play late at night into the morning (seems to be when it happens for me).
Or even going to options and clearing temporary data, didn't even realise you could do it last night but that may be worth a try. I'll give it a go later if I get booted and see how it goes and let you all know.

Megane's should be banned for race B. They are SO QUICK across the top and add a south American driver into the mx and it's mayhem.
Am I the only person that finds the Megane impossible to drive? Tried and tried with it, but still 2 seconds slower than the Huracan for me......

Entered a race B today, me plus 2 more Huracans, rest were all Meganes - couldn't catch any of the Meganes in front of me, but managed to stay well in front of the 3 behind me (perhaps they were finding it impossible to drive too?).

I love that there are only 3 laps. It's like the last laps to the Great Race. PD really captured the feel of Bathurst, with their camera placement. The shot head on, at Reid Park, has that exciting "racing for the win" feel.

Bahhhh you got greedy at the elbow on the last lap or you might have got him.

My first race C of the week :)

Has anyone watched the first qualifiers video on Daily Race A? Some ridiculous corner cutting going on.

Just watched one as I'm struggling to get into the 15's...I'm not going to resort to that! I guess race A will become a mess now.

Yo! mind the *****ing comments, bro. I get rammed everyday hundred times by brits, italians and spaniards and I never come here to throw **** on nationalities.
Before you demand etiquette driving, learn some manners to post.
Most people here are somewhat xenophobic to Brazilians, Italians, and Spaniards. As much as I hate to see these kinds of posts as you do, it's sadly a fact of life :(

I noticed that too. Last week after 2 races when the daily workout completed, the 3rd race booted me back to the race select screen, every day. Restart ps4, claim car and it works again. However even after claiming the car, a third race still often booted me back to the race select screen. Restarting the ps4 after every 2 races has been fool proof so far. It's a pita.

Don't avoid other cars by risking a wall hit.... It's less costly to hit them :/ Hit them first then the wall and they'll likely get the penalty :ouch: I saw people finish with up to +31 sec at BMB last week, I wonder if Tokyo can beat that!

It wasn't too long ago that I thought they made improvements in the SR algorithm, but it's really gotten worse the last fortnight.

Just logged in to see what people are doing to post 2.12 laps in Race A. I always expect to be 1.5-2 seconds off the Top 10 times. But not 4-5 seconds when it’s basically a flat-out blast in a hot-hatch.

This is my plan for next week, always starting midfield and never make it through the first two turns without either dropping to the back or getting penalties. I'm new to the game so haven't really witnessed clean racing yet and my priority is to increase SR first then I'll see what I can do about DR
So far and not so good, starting at the back at Monza but midfield by first turn due to all the false starters who then proceed to plough me into respawn territory. Seems almost impossible to avoid as if I move away from one there's another 2 right beside them.

I backed out to delete the network data, however I guess I did not back out far enough to claim the daily gift (pressed options as a shortcut) as the next (3rd) race I got booted out again. After restarting it gave me the daily car, so could have been that as well.

I just found out that there isn't enough time between Tokyo races to reboot the ps4 and restart the game. Missed it by a few seconds :banghead:

Back to Panorama instead which was pretty much undrive-able in SR.C (recovering from BMB) 2 Tokyo races brought me from 23 to 44 so far. Let's see if Panorama sets me back again...

Nope, clean race bonus! From last to 5th, yet only +2 SR for that race as I got bumped from behind once. No penalty but I guess 3 laps isn't worth much, lot of red ratings again. However it was drive-able in SR.B, I did not get punted off!

Tokyo was fun in the Ferrari

The second Tokyo race I placed 2nd, pretty much the only one without a penalty. The hardest thing about the track is avoiding the people serving penalties in the middle of the road. Who knows when they'll press the gas and unghost.

No more time tonight, Spider-man is waiting later.

Seen it now! Wow! now that really is taking the piss! I see him slow down to work off the penalty. I think any track infringement should delete your lap time. I hope they fix this.

Indeed, it would be easy and fair. Btw my fastest clean lap was 2:15:7xx

This current GTS penalty system does not work properly in time trial modes when it is allowing this kind of crap to spoil things being fair. any sort of corner cutting like that should be an instant invalid lap just as it would be in GT6, you couldn't get away with that at all. I wish they would put that system in to the time trials for GTS.

Exactly, these type of comments should at least receive a warning. What next? Build the wall?

I don't believe that's true. Those folks just naturally have a different, more passionate and hotheaded temperament compared to, for example, scandinavians. What we northern folks perceive as reckless and dirty they oftentimes deem as norm. We are more closed off i guess, quite cool, calm and avoid conflicts.

That's some nice variety of cars. I did a race on Asian server and race finished with 4 Peugeot VGTs on top 4 and me behind them in golf lol.
I'm guessing it's the fuel economy since I had to do 2 quick stops, while they either no-stopped or did 1 stop judging by the gap.

I've seen it before in regular Monza qualifiers, working off penalties costs less time than cutting the track over there.

You don't have to reboot the PS4 - just quit the game and then restart it, that's much quicker and does clear the glitch.

The funny thing is I've been rammed off and crashed into by Americans just as much as these southern people
Same goes for Italians and Spaniards

In the same token one of the better battles I had in the US region was against a Brazilian of all people

4 The mountain, i've done my best qualy lap, a 2.14.0 with the Lambo, yet in the first 2 races i've done, (like Neville said) the Meganes are much stronger here. So, against my principles, i also put in some hot laps with it. Guess what...second lap i'm allready 6 tenths faster. Think it's gonna stay my car 4 this week. ...At least it's not a Trophy!
