Got my NSX painted and everything but I got disconnected from Race C.

Was a little annoyed, but at least PD has officially acknowledged the issue.

So, I stepped into the twilight zone that is daily c. First race start 13 gridlocked start. All cars stayed in lobby but just stopped on word go. I slipped by one guy and battled my way through to finish 10 overall.
I would have done better if not for this Canadian who bump passed me on spoon curve exit. I stayed with him since he got a penalty and I flew past at the line but he won the position on me by .011.
Next race starting in 13 again...Mixed lobby with some A and an A plus at the top. Faster room.
By lap three I find myself in 9th...Big gap to 10th...huh? Several cars went off or got tangled up...
Lap 4 a guy is coming up fast on me and on approach to the hairpin I lift and let him by.
So continuing into lap five I pick up a spot at the chicane due to a guy off track. Little did I know it was the same Canadian from the previous race.
I pit...
Exiting the pits the same dang guy is on me. He can’t seem to get close enough for a bump pass try though. I’m in the zone...I stayed ahead of him for 2 full laps until again he closes in on spoon...
At this point you have to remember I didn’t know it was him. He was behind me...
HE pulls the same shenanigan at spoon, but I saw ther was a car close so didn’t lose much time...
I realize who it is! He’s got 14 seconds of penalties!
I held the gap to 2 seconds laps 8 and 9 but final lap I had a moment mid right hander before the hairpin entry and lost another 2 seconds.
Anyhow...I fly by him slowed down at the line and TAKE HIS POSITION HA!
The weird part is I just watched the replay and he started fourth...He was are 4-5 dirty bump passes. The guy I politely let through served him back in spoon and ran him wide. Clearly there was bad blood.
So the guy I lifted for allowed me to beat the dirty guy who bumped me in the previous race! Cheers to you my fellow American!
So I checked dirty guys stats and yep. He’s done 1140 odd races stats everywhere. This week alone he’s lost 25000 dr now little old me without even 20k has more and a 99 sr. He’s only ever been s rated a few times. When I checked he was down to dr b sr b.
I’ve never seen anything like him in my replays...Now I know why.
You sir, are a dirty sob and your stats show it.

Stay thirsty my friends.

First race at Fiji today. I am not going to slam into 2nd place as I can see he is about to close the door. Then the guy behind brushes through and I was the only one who got Red SR and a 2 second penalty. This is typical these Penalty rules? I honestly don't get it, but what do I know......

Just an unfortunate set of circumstances, out of curiosity what view do you race in? If your in bumper cam you would have been able to see that coming and avoid it.

Just come from a Daily A where I won only I didn't as half the grid was stuck skidding from side to side, and a driver that sat there in a bugged car and didn't race won instead.

At least I got the fastest lap counted, but really PD need to sort out whatever bug it is that is messing up all the races to some extent, it is buggy as hell right now.

This is the closest to the webcam I'm using when racing. It just happened too fast for me to be able to do proper manoeuvring after he overtook on the inside of the curb in turn 1. I just feel that you don't race like that. MHO. Cheers

It was a dumb play on his part for sure, if I was you I probably would have stayed wide there longer and tried to gain some early speed coming out of the corner on the two ahead of you which would have luckily avoided the dive bomber in the process. But what do I know, I’m still knew to this. :)

No you most certainly dont race like that, behaviour like that is deplorable, thats where savy online racing comes into it and why I would only ever use bumper cam.

There will always be some sport mode racer who has no race conscience and why I find bumpercam’s rear view invaluable - that is 90% of the reason why I use it.

I use bumper cam too, the mirror is quite handy. I also find it’s the most responsive to your inputs as well, which is what I like most about it.

I understand fully rono_thomas and I will try that from today. Mucho appreciated! Cheers.

Don’t forget that if trailing another car before a turn, you’ll firstly be going faster due to slipstream,

I didn't notice this before but KP lists the SlipStream=weak for this race. Kyoto this week is going to be same Gr.4 cars but SlipStream = real. It will interesting to feel the difference.

I find my stats at Kyoto, interesting(to me):

KYOTO DRIVING PARK - YAMAGIWA+MIYABI 17 0 3 0 8.94 10.05 +1.11

KYOTO DRIVING PARK - YAMAGIWA+MIYABI
Gr.2 2:05.684 MOTUL AUTECH GT-R '16 29/05/2018 18:01
Gr.4 2:29.827 650S Gr.4 23/07/2018 11:02

Only raced there 17 times, but I guess with races being week long, I'll double that .
t the other Kyoto variations, I used an awd Gr.4. For starters, I'm probably going to use the NSX then, the GT-R.

Goodbye daily race c
Goodbye gr2 cars in daily races
You were my love.
Especially you. 2016 Raybrig NSX
Got a dub. Close race, but overtook on lap 9 at 130R(!)
A dub on Honda’s home track (or one of them at least.), the place where Senna improved the na1 NSX, and got a dub after Button and Yamamoto won this years’ super gt in real life!
Also got the new 288 gto and an r18 out of it

Here's my best lap so far for Race A of 1:27.8 gotten with a controller and automatic transmission that as of now is second fastest in the world.

There is still about 3 tenths or so to gain and if I get a .4 I will do a turn by turn tutorial video if I have time.

Confession Time: I have sinned.

Ok so last night i hit 37,000 DR and crept back into SR: S so thought 'great, 1 more race and call it quits'

Well big mistake. was fighting some ***** for 4th and he purposely slammed on in the final corner of fuji causing me to nudge him slightly, then he full throttles and purposely drives off the track, taking the run off area extending cheat that people use, because id brushed his rear bumper the game clases it as me punting him off and i get a 4 second pen.

I lost ground and watched him do this to the next guy after me on the end of lap 2. Lap 3 im behind him again, he pushes me wide going into the tight section, and then yet again does the same trick at the last corner causing me another 4 seconds of pen.

Should have seen it coming but the red mist took over, and i speared him off at the end of the straight, then speared him off again at the last corner.

The funny thing is when i purposely rammed him i got 2 second pends as opposed to 4 seconds when he exploited the final turn.
Now reset to B/C and lost most my scores. i deserve it but the games too full of ***** for my short fuse. I have cleaner races at SR C than i do in A or S. rant over

No more GTS til christmas at least for me. Back to F1 2018

I'm usually strongly opposed against revenge fouls in GTS but I can actually understand it here and feel your pain...

It was still poor from me, i can usually rise above revenge and i regret it now but this guy really got to me, his bright orange livery with 'ASSHOLE' on the rear bumper made it worse lol.

Question as I just got bumped off the track by three french guy's (sorry france) so if I see them behind me again on the starting grid and I quit before the race starts do I get punished for that on my SR and DR?
Edit: Yes they did this time again so I just quit before the race starts...... we'll see how bad it hurts me...

Jeez. Gotta fight and scratch at these races. Noone wants to avoid contact. Serving penalties at the final chicane at Catalunya. Thanks, right in front of me.
Using me as a corner stabilizer, a brake light inspector, a shuffleboard puck. Seriously out of hand. The worse part is, all the culprits are gone post race.

Didn't have enough time to race last week's races! Had some good races at all three, and some bad. Managed to podium at each. On to this week already! Started with race A, got a decent quali time so entered. First race pole, sloppy first lap cost me. Second race P2, but P1 was turismo-Lester, whose name I recognized as I had just read it in the top 10 times (4th). Managed to stay in sight of him for about two laps, then he flew away as I had a sloppy 3rd lap. Learned a bit from him though, next race I got my fourth win. Started pole. P2 was better than me on the last turn by quite a bit, but I was slightly better everywhere else. Got enough of an advantage lap 4 that lap 5 was able to take the last turn easy. Will have to try the other two next, haven't even checked them out yet.

Fair enough I just don't race the same idio... again anyhow.
If you care the slightest about your ratings then never quit my friend it hurts your ratings real bad.

Havent driven the Barcelona track yet in GTS. Thinking i am gonna have go at it today.

Ahhh, it's so refreshing to race again! And what better way to get back into it than with a good ol' fashioned Gr.3 brawl at Interlagos! This track is like the new Suzuka for me, where I can constantly perform well because I know the track inside and out. Yesterday's final race of the day (afternoon) was a particular one of note, with me and a fellow Saffer doing a 1-2:

I absolutely adore this NSX, and it's a shame that I took so long to get myself a piece of this group/track combination. It could've been worse though and been featured for only one day in the week had PD not changed the race structure.
