You’re right, but I wanted to do this one for fun. Plus the other races are wack!Race A is not recommended by @mclarenLB if you want to keep your DR safe.
Relax dude, I can just get the minimal amount of points I lost back.Fun? You should have a separate account for *fun*. You just don't do that jokes and whistles matter with your main one, sir.
I see you're a man of taste as wellJust like the rest of the week, racing on Suzuka has been clean fun.
My first full week with a new G29... and boy are my arms tired. So started to wear work gloves. It helps a lot. But it feels so stupid.

The WRX felt like someone had replaced the engine oil with black strap molasses. I didn't have any contacts, and no penalties. I did get a bit out of shape a couple of times on the hair pin and once I came fish tailing out of the chicane.
Oh well... not racing next week, the combos just don't grab me enough to deal with.
HELP please!
I am a beginner and I am practising Daily Race A.
The Fugu Z has high delays between the gears when shifting. I saw in top 10 they lift off the gas pedal when shifting to reduce the delay. This doesn't really work that well for me.
Can anybody help me with a tip? Or maybe tell me how you call what I am looking for ( would make it easier for me to google).
They are probably using a clutch and H shifter, if the car shifts on its own with Paddles/auto transmission it’s just gonna shift slower, any road car with an H pattern gears will be like that.
I am using manual shifting with pedals. Is there a way to reduce the delays? So is it because they use clutch+gear knob?
You need to figure out how to enter the race with the Tesla (1-speed transmission)HELP please!

Thanks so much for your help!!As far as I know yes, that’s why, but it has to be a H pattern shifter like a G25/G27 wheel would have, not an up/down only style shifter like a DFGT or Paddles and you need to have the clutch pedal, that way you can control how fast you shift gears vs hitting a Shift Up button and waiting for the car to shift itself. In the old games you could add aftermarket flywheels, clutches and such to decrease shift time but this game doesn’t allow you to do that as far as I know now that there’s no performance parts upgrades.

Did one Race B (Gr.4 @ Suzuka, 4 laps) last night.
Ok so, I haven't do much Sport Mode lately. I definitely feel a difference in QF difficulty with the weekly race schedule and must say the daily schedule was a better fit for me personally, but feel that 3 days rotation would be perfect, with one or two races added.
Anyways, I'm a low DR B at the moment and have usually been qualifying in the upper half of the grid at that rating. I've only done two races since the schedule changed from daily to weekly, and in both races I qualified in the bottom 3 of the grid. Obviously, with each race lasting 7 days instead of 1, people have more time to set QF laps, and it's very appearant in the lineup how much closer all the laps are. If I'll get active again in Sport Mode, I'll need to spend more time doing QF laps.
Anyway, back to the race. I was using the Vantage and I qualified 13/16, but two players dropped out so I started the race 11/14.
Had a nice battle with a Frenchman with the username of Morpheus something driving a Audi TT, where he came out on top. Was a pretty steady race by most. Was up to 8th place when starting the final lap, and then some action took place.
On the straight before the final chicane, there were two guys who clashed. Someone in a VW dived on a guy in a Alfa 4C on the fast left hander before the chicane, resulting in the Alfa guy getting dragged behind. Morpheus in the Audi TT got tangled up in this and spun out and I swoop past into 7th place.
Alfa guy was seriously pissed and rammed the VW guy out at the chicane, textbook revenge ram, and then tried to cut the chicane, resulting in him being reset on the track further back.
While all this goes on, I swoop past both of them and take 5th place. Crossing the finish line I was quite close to 4th place as that guy was serving his penalty by the finish line, but made it out with 4th place. Note: I want penalty zones in the weekly races!
All in all, fun race and good results for me. I gained 6 places, had a clean race and gained around 500 DR points. Quite content, this race goes as a green one in my Sport Mode Race log Excel sheet
Final note: That Audi is fast in a straight line!![]()
Maybe they should add a 4th race spot. Race "D" for "Daily".
And make it crazy. ie Raptors at Willow. <- fun race/don't need a week of it.
You know what would be awesome? A 4th daily race where the only thing known is a starting time. The car and track are randomly drawn every time. Maybe 5 minutes to qualify, once everyone completes their entry. I would do "Race D" all day long.
Right. It would be a gamble to enter, not knowing what fate has in store for you. That idea is brilliant, but the only thing with it is that you would end up with awful combinations, how many people want to race fiat 500s round tokyo expressway? Vs how many people want gr2 at the nurburgring gp?
Maybe if they had only a few select car groups / tracks?
